Is there any way to remove the Youtube title etc on a homepage autoplay video block ?

This is a YouTube feature that isn't controlled by Squarespace and can't be disabled. The solution is to use a paid plan on another supported video service like Vimeo or Wistia.

Do you mean why don’t they offer their own video hosting? Other services offer a great service with high streaming quality, upload ease, and video playback control and it is unlikely that Squarespace could offer a similar service for a lower price point. That’s why they recommend one of the paid plans on other supported services.

YouTube is great for vlogging but not really suitable for background videos. If your video is short, another option is to upload an MP4 video directly to Squarespace but you’ll need code to be able to use this as your background video.

I hope it's help you:-YouTube now shows video previews in the Home panel, which uses up data and is otherwise just annoying. Happily, you can turn them off. Just tap your profile picture at top-right, then tap Settings > Autoplay. Turn off the “Autoplay on Home” toggle, as shown above, and you're done.
