Guest
Hi there! We've been researching how to achieve our vision for a certain customer experience. We're selling products on the website using the Squarespace product function (which works very well for us.) However we would love to offer customers an online area with accompanying resources. This would depend on the product the customer bought. We are aware that Squarespace doesn't offer this functionality. Services like MemberSpace, memberdash or sentrylogin seem to offer this paywall function. However they make the use of the Squarespace product object obsolete. One possible "solution" would be to manually add a user to one of the above mentioned services. Cons: it doesn't scale well (a problem we would on the other hand be happy to have :) ) and more importantly it just doesn't fit with the product, that the customer has to wait for their login. Is there any way to connect a Squarespace Product to a paywall system? Has anyone ever thought about that? Maybe via Zappier? Or Squarespace API? Best case would be that the email address provided with the payment is automatically used to create a login. Bonus points for using additional data fields (custom checkout form) to set up the user account. Thanks a lot in advance for any answer, speculation, solution, hint, resource ... Link to comment
violettag
Hey, @laddaa! If you are still looking for a way to add a Paywall to your Squarespace site, you may be interested in exploring a new feature called Member Areas that was recently introduced. Here is a quick link to a guide for the reference, should you need it: Getting started with Member Areas Hope this helps! Link to comment
