Can I change the background for the Top Footer Block?

Hi there,

I've currently set my footer background to pastel pink, but i wanted the top footer block background to have a white background instead while the rest of the footer remains pink. Does anyone have a code that could do this?

Yup, so the whole section in the pink box that says "proud partners of:" and the 3 logos under it.

No that's not what I'm looking for - I only want to make the top footer block white; so as you know, the footer is split into three sections - top, middle and bottom. The Top section is where I've put the partner information - that's the only part of the footer I want white. I hope that makes sense!

Hi all! 

While it's been some time, I came across this thread and I wanted to share that you can now add a background color to Text, Accordion, Summary, Quote, and Newsletter blocks directly in Squarespace. If you add a text block in your footer, you can set a background color that would only affect that block.
