Cart data in Sales funnel not showing in SQSP analytics

I have upgraded to commerce to see the funnel data. However Visits and Product Views work, but Cart is not showing any data. My website does not yet allow users to buy. Upon clicking Checkout (= Kasse in this German website), they are redirected to a Checkout-Closed page, where users are informed that the shop is not finished yet, etc. But I wonder why it does not record the products added to the Cart, which is a step before checkout. Please advise

Just from looking at the Squarespace Support Documents it could be because you don't have a payment processor connected to your website yet.
