Suggestions with blog formatting with Hyde template

Greetings community,

So, the HYDE template works well for me, for what I am doing, but my secondary point of the site I am building is a blog. And Hyde isn't the most friendly for Blogs. I've gotten creative.

I do like the idea of simplicity, and no standard side-bar. But curious what options I may have, custom coding, or small additions I can make to improve the layout.

Should I add an about me, and photo, horizontal somewhere?

Better yet, if you're using Hyde and have a blog I would love to see it.
