Removing underline on link using new 7.1 version and template Cath Quincy

I'm trying to remove the underline from the links in my footer. I'm using the new 7.1 version of squarespace and the template "Cath Quincy". I've tried the css code

footer a {border-bottom-style: none !important;}

and it doesn't work. Pls Help!

Me too, it seems most help on Squarespace defaults to the old Squarespace prior to 7.1

I'd recommend trying this in the CSS Editor:

a {background-image:none !important;}
