Dynamically Update Date in Announcement Bar

I'm trying to set up my announcement bar so that it displays a dynamic date for a weekly event, like:

"Our next event is on [THE NEXT SATURDAY'S DATE]"

Is there a way to do this with code injection or something similar? I'm in the Bedford template if that makes a difference.
