Double Opt-In Page Customization

Hi Folks:

Once people sign up for our Newsletter and using SS, they get an email to confirm that they are signing up (double opt-in).

1- Is there a way to customize that email that is sent?2 - once they have confirmed, can another email be sent with a discount for their next visit or the like?

Also looking for a way to do this! The feature needs to be address if confirm subscription is not getting an option to be turned off. At the moment, the conversion rate of people confirming their subscription will not match that of the actual sign ups! People will see this email and many will not confirm as they have no visual association to what they just sign up from!
