Using an index page in the footer navigation that does not list the content sections in the footer

Is there a way to have an index page linked in the footer without its content sections listed in the footer? I'm using Pedro/Brine.

Specifically, I'd like my footer to list "Resources" and then when you click on it, it goes to an index page with the sections "websites," "books," "podcasts," etc. Currently it shows all of these subheadings in the footer, but not resources. So I guess I want it to do exactly the opposite of what it's designed to do, lol.
