mrspotter2001 Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 I have a 3 domains that I bought with Squarespace. 2 of the domains are pointing to the same site. I would like to disconnect the 2nd domain from the site, and build another website on Squarespace for it. How do I do this?

mrspotter2001 Posted July 22, 2019 Author Posted July 22, 2019 The primary domain is www.gotogirlservices.com. The secondary domain that is pointing to that website is www.mary-creative.com. I don't want mary-creative.com to point to gotogirlservices. It needs to be a stand alone website.
paul2009 Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 You can’t move a Squarespace Domain to a trial site, expired site, or parking page so you'll first want to create the second website. Start with a trial and then pay for it. Once the second site is on a paid plan, you can connect the domain name to it. Start with the site where your domain is currently linked (the current site where both domains point). In the Home Menu, click Settings, and then click Domains. Click the domain you’d like to move - mary-creative.com. Scroll down and click Move Domain to Another Site. In the pop-up window, click the thumbnail of the new site where the domain will move. Log into the new site, and click Confirm to complete the process. ryanhoward Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 All I want to do is cancel my whole squarespace domain and just get a new domain with Wix. I am not happy with Squarespace's service. I have been trying to reach them and they have no contact info. I only wanted to transfer my domain name to Wix. Now I'm giving up with Squarespace and just want to cancel.
