How to center and and fade text color when hovered over in markdown?

annikaizora

Question

Hi everyone!

I’m having some trouble with markdown and I’m hoping someone in the community might be able to help.

Using markdown, my goal is to have a line of text in H2 centered AND fade to a different color when you hover over it.

Using the code below, I’ve been able to get the text to fade when I hover over it using the markdown code below. But I haven’t been able to figure out how to center it, it stays left-aligned. There is also a strange thin line that’s appearing under the text that I’m not sure how to remove.

(Screenshot of code is attached as the Squarespace forum translated the code when I typed it below)

Thanks so much for your help!
