Guest Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Hi I would like to stop access to a squarespace site (or a subset of pages) until the viewer has accepted a disclaimer: Can anyone advise on the best way to do this in squarespace? Thoughts: Use marketing pop-up? Inject javascript or html/css? thanks in advance J
paul2009 Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 This is usually achieved with an ‘age-gate’ and common on sites selling or describing age-restricted products. There are a number of these available as add-ons for Squarespace, some that require an ongoing payment subscription and some that are a one-off purchase. We produce one of these exclusively for Squarespace where you can change the wording to suit your needs. You’ll find full details here: https://sf.digital/squarespace-age-popup Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. I value honesty, transparency, diversity and good design ♥.
