Guest
Is there any way to box the description text that is displayed on the banner on Bedford theme? I'd like something like the 'Join Ed' text on this website home page, https://edforvirginia.com/ I don't need to be able to get users email, just would like the box around the text. Thanks. paul2009
Yes, but it will depend on the chosen layout. Please include a link to the page on your site and indicate if you want this to affect one page or all pages. Your site doesn't need to be live - a link to a trial site (some-thing.squarespace.com/page-name) is fine. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. paul2009
OK, add this to Design > Custom CSS: .homepage .desc-wrapper { border: 10px solid white; max-width: 500px; } You can change the thickness (10 pixels), colour (white), and maximum width (500-pixels) as required. Guest
that worked, except the top bar is within the navigation, so is being cut off. Is there a way to change the max-height? Link to comment
paul2009
What do you mean when you say "the top bar is within the navigation"? This is what I see: About: SQSP User for 17 yrs.
