  1. Site URL: https://genehayesdesign.com I have the York template and the following custom CSS so I can get the Contact link in the nav to look like a button: div#secondaryNavWrapper .nav-item:last-child a { background: #000; color: #fff; padding: 5px 11px; border-radius: 50px; border: 2px solid #000; } div#secondaryNavWrapper .nav-item:last-child a:hover { transition: .1s; background: #effc8c; color: #000; } It seems that it's the a:hover that causes the nav to move around while the page loads, because it doesn't when I remove it. Any ideas?
  2. Hi, Is it possible to not only left align links on the mobile menu screen but also move it to the top of the screen. Found the code to move it to the left, but struggling with the top. This is what I have for left aligned: .mobile-primary-nav-links, .mobile-secondary-nav-links { text-align: left; margin-left: 20px} Also, I noticed that when you click the links (when left aligned) in mobile view, the links quickly jump back to the centre before moving to the page requested. Any help would be ace, completely new to this.
  3. Site URL: https://benwpeters.com/decode-creative-inheritance The videos on my site (linked from Vimeo) do not all appear in a uniform size. I've tried changing the settings on Vimeo and Squarespace to no avail. Any suggestions?
  4. Hi I'm using the York template and trying to style the index page. The idea is to have a hero project first and then two columns with the rest of the projects. So similar to the Style sitting "INDEX : LAYOUT / Item width : Full / Alternate Widths : Yes But instead of having: 1 full width project , 2 columns, 1, 2, 1, 2... it's: 1 full width project , 2 columns, 2,2,2... Makes sense? Don't want it alternating between full width and two columns. Tried with a banner but can't insert a project there. Does anyone know if it's possible to achieve this or is it possible to do with an other template?
  5. Site URL: http://squaremileranch.com/landing I have tried a series of iterations to remove the logo in the nav bar of this site on this single page: https://www.squaremileranch.com/landing Would someone kindly help? Thank you so much!
  6. Site URL: https://iamabbytaylor.com/ Hi there! I'd like to add a png element that is sticky in the bottom right corner of the screen at all times on desktop and tablet. For an example, I love how that happens with the & sign on this site: https://sagmeisterwalsh.com/ and want to achieve a similar effect on my site. It's also how pretty awesome how the & sign in the bottom right corner is only visible when you're scrolling, but no problem if that's not doable! Thanks so much, Abby
  7. Site URL: https://iamabbytaylor.com/ Hi there! I'm using York and, on every page of my site, I want the nav bar area and the full banner area below to be one solid colour. I want the rest of the side background to remain white, but the Banner area with and Nav bar to be a dark colour, such as 31191E. Something roughly like the attached. I know I can change the whole site background colour but that's not what I want as I want the actual body of the web page to remain with a white background. If someone can help that's be amazing thanks so much!
  8. When I use a Folder to create a drop-down menu, clicking on the Folder title takes my visitors to the first page in the Folder. Can I change where this link goes? Or stop this behavior altogether, and just show the drop-down menu?
  9. Site URL: https://www.eccotravels.com/ Hello! I was working on my site today and looked at it on mobile to see how it was going. To my surprise, the mobile bar was absolutely gigantic (too much padding above and below the branding). I didn't do anything for it to become so large, it's always been very thin, which I loved. Now the mobile bar covers almost half of my phone screen. I can't even see the mobile menu options properly, they get cut off and the drop downs can't be seen. Desktop, to my knowledge is fine, this is a mysterious mobile problem. Currently, my page has absolutely no CSS or custom anything on it. I'm creating a video to put as a homepage banner and that's literally the most exciting thing going on about it. I use the Artesia template, which I believe is a York family template. Please help me! How do I make this padding smaller? Could this be a glitch and it will go back to normal? I'm happy to put in some custom CSS, nothing that I've searched even made a dent into changing things. I uploaded screenshots from my phone so you can see the issue. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
  10. I am hoping someone can help! I would like to change the placement of the logo and navigation on the Harris template (York). I need to make the logo left aligned, and the navigation right aligned. What code do I need to insert in order to make this happen?
  11. Hello! I am using the York template. I am trying to remove the page description from every page on my site except for the homepage. The homepage's page description places copy over our intro banner video, which I need, but this feature also places divs for copy at the top of *every* page, and I would like to remove the page description copy and its div space on those pages. Is there an if/then loop that can identify the homepage from all other pages and remove the page description block from all pages but the home page? Thank you!
  12. Hello, I would like to make my logo bigger and to overlap it on top of my content, let's say, so that the blank space under the logo is smaller than it should, and that the logo comes on top of content, I've been trying using CSS but so far not successful, could someone give me an advice?I am using York template. Thanks in advance.

  14. Hello @tuanphan I'm currently trying to figure out a way to make a website friendly towards a client base that is divided into 3 different language groups - English, French and Chinese. Currently, english is not a problem as t's the default language on Squarespace, but I am wondering if anyone has any ideas around how to switch between languages or translate headings and text through a hover function? For example, the perfect situation would be if a client who lands on the home page could scroll down the page and hover over a heading to read it in their native language or have a heading flick through three different translations on hover but the default is english when navigating away. The other option (if there is one) would be to have a line of code that translated the website automatically on any browser base one where they're searching from... Is this possible?! I hope this is clear, but please ask questions if you have any suggestions.
