  1. Site URL: http://www.billydupee.co.uk Hi there, I have almost finished my sites info page however there is a white bar at the bottom which i cant seem to remove. All other pages on my site are white, but the info page has specific code to change the background and footer to black. This is the code applied specifically to that page: It looks great apart from this white space at the bottom. On desktop it isn't very noticible but on mobile its very large. See below: How can I remove this? Thanks
  2. Hello, I have been having a problem with the mobile version of Tremont. I notice that there is a ton of white space to the right side of the content and cannot get rid of it. I have looked through other posts and cannot find code to fix my problem. Image related, red circle to clarify. I am also having issues with items like "Systems" in the image below getting moved to the center of the page, meaning that on my Android phone i have to zoom out to see all the white space and the text. Please advise. Thank you.
  3. I set up a portfolio page with a number of sub-projects within that, each sub-project page with gallery grid images. The images have spacing between them which has been working fine on desktop view and mobile view until i logged back in today to do some more work on the site. Now although the spacing between the images still shows on desktop, the mobile view has the images touching at the top and bottom with no space in-between. I have rechecked the CSS codes I have added to date and can't work out why but looks like i may have done something wrong yesterday. Help would be appreciated in getting the mobile view to work again. The site is https://purple-chinchilla-4bnr.squarespace.com/ and password Toronto2019 thanks
  4. Site URL: https://www.chriszforma.com/priorities/ The video about resizing blocks mentions a cropping tool, but the visual cue does not show up on my edit page. there is so much white space that causes lots of extra scrolling. How do I get the cropping tool to appear? what other options exist to resize when all spacer blocks are removed already.
  5. Hello, hope you are all safe and healthy first of all. 😉 Let me preface this call for help by saying I know very little about CSS, very little!. Other than I want to know a lot more that I purchased a Complete Web Developers Course. . . which I look forward to starting right away. With that said, I'm trying to get my daughter's sight complete so I can move on to mine. The problem I'm having and I don't know when this happened (eye roll) is that whenever I want to bold any wording in the website anywhere on any page, the sentences just split like wide open. I hit Ctrl+Shift+C to check out what could it could be and what I did see was that there was a "white space pre-wrap" showing up right before the sentence cute wide. I have attached some snippets shots. I've been working like a dog on this, not kidding and I just told my daughter not a few hours ago that I would rather sign up for another trial and start over again than try to deal with this shizzle. But then I remembered you guys here. I'm so exhausted. But hey, that's what happens when you play with the big kids right. Which again is why I'm taking the class and learning it straight up right! If anyone knows how I can save my humanity I'd really appreciate it, otherwise I'll take a few days off and sulk with some of that great Netflix & Chill ice cream, wine, some of those Kirkland chocolate covered Almonds from Costco (you know, the BIG tub), and then go at it anew. Life goes on. To your best, Maria

  7. Hi - I've been searching high and low for custom code/help in removing a slice of white space right above my prefooter and footer in Hayden Template site. I stumbled across some code from Lindsey Hazel, posted a year ago, and toggled with the px values in padding and min-height and no such luck. Unfortunately I don't know a ton of code so I usually delete/add values until something breaks and then delete and start over in a trial and error approach. Really hoping someone can help out. Here's a link to the site I'm working on: https://www.srnalytics.com This is the code provided by Lindsey Hazel (https://www.lindseyhazel.com/blog/hide-header-footer-squarespace): <style>#header { display: none !important; } #preFooter { display: none !important; } #footer { display: none !important; } #page { width: 100% !important; min-height: 700px !important; padding:20px !important; margin: 0px !important; max-width: 100% !important; }</style> My abbreviated code looks like this, as I want to keep the header and footer, but honestly remove the prefooter and hopefully the white space at the bottom too: <style>#preFooter { display: none !important; } #page { width: 100% !important; min-height: 0px !important; padding:0px !important; margin: 0px !important; max-width: 100% !important; }</style>
  8. Hello, I am attempting to adjust the spacing of the home page on a mobile specific device. www.philipandco.comPassword: arvasolutions Currently when you arrive on the homepage of the website on a mobile device the first peice of content is the subscribe block, however, the block is so far down with tons of white space on the mobile device you can barely see it. Is there a way that I can adjust this through the developer platform and if so I would love your help! Cheers
