  1. Site URL: https://agux.co Is there a way to customize or overwrite the Twitter social image HTML on my site? Currently, when one of my pages is shared to Twitter, Twitter’s displays the standard summary card: I would like Twitter to use the large summary card, so shared pages look like this: Background info: Per Twitter's developer docs, the summary card with the small image is controlled by this HTML in the HEAD of the document: <meta name="twitter:card" content="summary" /> The summa
  2. Site URL: https://www.pepijnclaus.com Hello Squarespace I have some SEO problems regarding my website, www.pepijnclaus.com A month ago, sharing my website on Facebook has been no problem. It displayed exactly the image I wanted: However: lately, the image changes to this, which is a black box. Not really inviting to visit my website, if you ask me πŸ˜• The same in Messenger: I didn't change anything regarding the SEO settings. It's still like this: The same happened on Twitter. A week ago, the image was the drawing of my face, which was what I wanted. But sin
  3. Site URL: https://www.randombranding.com/tweetables All twitter-share-buttons disappeared from my "tweetables" page, where people should be able to find a quote they like and click-to-tweet. I've used twitters own code (from their developers site here: https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-for-websites/tweet-button/overview The page worked perfectly fine, with all the code blocks carrying the twitter share buttons, and publishing on twitter as intended (see example here) On September 4th, 2020 all buttons just disappeared. Other websites seem to still carry them,
  4. Site URL: https://computerclub.online/afleveringen/107-applegaming-flash When I share a blogpost URL to Twitter, it shows a small image in the Twitter card, rather than a big visual. Please see the attached files for the current vs. desired look. I have a thumbnail image set (900 x 600, width x height), and an alternate social image (1200 x 628). I also have an Excerpt text set, and a SEO Description. When I share to LinkedIn or Facebook, it does work (i.e. it shows the bigger preview). Already tried the Twitter Card Validator, see attach. Thanks in advance, Freddy
  5. Site URL: http://contextual.mx Does anybody else is getting this error when validating Twitter Card from a Squarespace URL. ERROR: Fetching the page failed because other errors. Hello, I just
  6. Hi everyone, At the moment I have a simple footer, not too cluttered, but I could do with embedding the twitter feed for people to see. When I add the Twitter feed it looks pretty awful, I'm jut not sure how to style it better. Does anyone have any design ideas, column suggestions or coded footers to make the it look better? https://oarfish-salmon-gpgd.squarespace.com password: criminaljustice Thank you πŸ™‚
  7. Hey! My client sent me the code snippet for his "twitter universal website tag code" and I'm not seeing any Squarespace info on where to put this. In the Header Advanced Code block? At the bottom of ever page in a code block? Please help! https://business.twitter.com/en/help/campaign-measurement-and-analytics/conversion-tracking-for-websites.html Thanks so much!
  8. When automatically sending a blog post to Twitter, is there any way to include hashtags? Pretty important feature for Twitter posts.
  9. I have a page that is setup similar to the image attached. Because I set the Twitter code block to a certain height it looks great on screens of a certain resolution, however when viewing on screens with a different resolution, the images adjust beautifully, but the Twitter feed stays at my specified height. Is there a way to make this feed (a code block) resize similar to how the images resize, so no matter the resolution (minus a mobile device) the page looks even and a perfect rectangle? One thing to note, this is not a Twitter account connected to my Squarespace account.
  10. Want to add images to my Twitter feed block but there isn't any option for that... anyone have a fix for this? Seems kinda pointless to just have a text feed from a marketing perspective.
  11. Standard social links at the bottom all work..with the exception of the Twitter icon isn't visible. It links fine if you click the white space where it should be, but no visible icon. WHY?
  12. Dear all, I've embedded my personal twitter handle in my site. Unfortunately there is no option to change the font or size of the text of my feed. Also my retweets appear differently. they do not show any included link embedded but instead as "... https://t.co/...." link in the text. is there a chance or workaround to have the feed look like as on twitter.com or the twitter app? i mean, with embedded pics, links, retweets, etc...I also read about being able to set the font size anywhere in CSS - but actually I do not know where. Any ideas for me? Thank you in advance, best regards, Christian
