On the site laaf.org (version 7.1), if you take a url like https://www.laaf.org/joyce-song and paste that url Into a Twitter or LinkedIn post, the weblink preview is incorrect. It shows up fine on Facebook. Has anyone found issues/resolved them when entering urls into those two social platforms? As far as I can tell, they are "connected" in settings. I am attaching how it previews on Facebook (correctly, showing Joyce Song info) and how it previews on LinkedIn (showing a different person's name, no image, etc). Thank you! Veronica

It displayed exactly the image I wanted: However: lately, the image changes to this, which is a black box. Not really inviting to visit my website, if you ask me 😕 The same in Messenger: I didn't change anything regarding the SEO settings. It's still like this: The same happened on Twitter. A week ago, the image was the drawing of my face, which was what I wanted. But since this week, the image automatically changed to a badly cropped version of the logo: The only service that does it right, is Linkedin: Can someone explain to me why this happens on Facebook and Twitter?   5. I have a page that is setup similar to the image attached. Because I set the Twitter code block to a certain height it looks great on screens of a certain resolution, however when viewing on screens with a different resolution, the images adjust beautifully, but the Twitter feed stays at my specified height. Is there a way to make this feed (a code block) resize similar to how the images resize, so no matter the resolution (minus a mobile device) the page looks even and a perfect rectangle? One thing to note, this is not a Twitter account connected to my Squarespace account.

  7. I have a list of over 1000 tweets that I'd like to display on a website. Some are plain text, some are images, some are videos. For each row item, there are these columns that I'd like to include: [@handle] [tweet-title] [twitter URL] Is there a quick way to do this?

Please see the attached files for the current vs. desired look. I have a thumbnail image set (900 x 600, width x height), and an alternate social image (1200 x 628). I also have an Excerpt text set, and a SEO Description. When I share to LinkedIn or Facebook, it does work (i.e. it shows the bigger preview). Already tried the Twitter Card Validator, see attach. Currently, when one of my pages is shared to Twitter, Twitter’s displays the standard summary card: I would like Twitter to use the large summary card, so shared pages look like this: Background info: Per Twitter's developer docs, the summary card with the small image is controlled by this HTML in the HEAD of the document: <meta name="twitter:card" content="summary" /> The summary card with a large image is controlled by similar HTML: <meta name="twitter:card" content="summary_large_image"> By default, Squarespace generates the HTML for the standard summary card with the small image. On my site, I have used code injection to add HTML for the summary with a large image into the HEAD of my documents. I did this both site wide as well as on blog pages: However, Twitter still uses the summary card with the small image. Any thoughts?

  11. Hi everyone, At the moment I have a simple footer, not too cluttered, but I could do with embedding the twitter feed for people to see. When I add the Twitter feed it looks pretty awful, I'm jut not sure how to style it better.   14. Hi everyone, I was just wondering if there’s a way to adjust the font size for twitter blocks. Currently it is changed by setting the ‘paragraphs’ size in site styles but that changes the font size for the entire site which i dont want. I want it to just effect the twitter text block only.   15. Site URL: https://www.randombranding.com/tweetables All twitter-share-buttons disappeared from my "tweetables" page, where people should be able to find a quote they like and click-to-tweet. I've used twitters own code (from their developers site here: https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-for-websites/tweet-button/overview The page worked perfectly fine, with all the code blocks carrying the twitter share buttons, and publishing on twitter as intended (see example here) On September 4th, 2020 all buttons just disappeared. Other websites seem to still carry them, so I presume it's a Squarespace issue? However in the twitter app on iOS, when users click the link they get an edited version of the blog post with a link in top right corner that says VIEW ORIGINAL. The version available in twitter has different fonts and edits, looks like an entriely different site. This issue has come as feedback form multiple users now. Any ideas why this is happening?
