  1. Hi, I'm collaborating with a ceramist where we plan on releasing a dinnerware set. The idea is we will split profits depending on whether the sale comes from their audience (website, Instagram, email) or mine (YouTube, Instagram, website, email). The store will be on my site. I am wondering if there is any backend analytics that can tell me where a sale comes from, without the customer inputting any codes? It'd need to be somewhat detailed, eg, not just 'Instagram' being the source, but whether it was their Instagram or mine. If there isn't such detail, do you have any suggestions using external website trackers, etc?
  2. Hi, In Analytics there you can see "Traffic Sources" and you can see "Form & Button Conversions" I would like to be able to tie these together so you can see which traffic sources led to which form and button conversions. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!
  3. Site URL: https://www.cidercellar.ie Could you tell me please what is considered like a visit ? In Analytics dashboard, we can look the traffic but I would like to know, what is real considered like a visit ?
  4. Site URL: https://ros-management.com/ Hi, I have observed a huge discrepancy between the Squarespace Analytics and the Google Analytics results. Please see the screenshots below. Since the end of August, I am now using GA to compare with Squarespace. However, this is a massive difference with Squarespace reporting 10x more traffic than GA and I can't figure out why. Can anyone explain this? Which results are likely to be more reliable?
  5. Site URL: https://leviebranding.com/ I'm working with a new technology company and I'm looking for insights from the community on how to build high-traffic for our Squarespace web landing page. We're in the process of deploying an SEO strategy as well as social media ads and content, but would love to hear about whether anyone here can share from any past experience building high-traffic for a new website, much appreciated!
  6. Site URL: https://www.dorisfullgrabe.com Hey! I noticed the Activity Log Analytics include my own IP address in the count. I'm on my website quite a lot, so I want to exclude my IP to get a more realistic number of actual visitors. Any ideas how I can do that? Thanks!
  7. Site URL: http://www.canadiankendamas.com Hey folks, My client would like to view a breakdown of traffic to their site by their (4) domains. Any tips? I'm not seeing an option for this in analytics. Thanks so much, Yitzy
  8. I am generating a landing page and I want to know if Squarespace can support the entry of 500 users simultaneously for the registration? Thank you.
  9. Site URL: https://masterliveryservices.com my website traffic is going down day by day from last 15 days. I am willing to recover my website,s traffic but unable to find out solution. can anyone suggest me best possible ways to recover my traffic. I would highly appreciate your contribution in this regard
  10. Site URL: https://www.machinevisionbar.com Hi, I'm a bit confused regarding the analytics on my site. For example it says that I got 53 visits yesterday (and 50 unique visitors), but the "Activity log" only counts 11 visitors. Is it because the rest of the visitors disabled the cookies, therefore we can't track them? Same on my Google Analytics, numbers are different (22 visitors and 13 new users yesterday). Does anyone has the same issue, or an explanation? If I look at the last month, Google analytics says 335 visitors, but Squarespace says more than a thousands, so the difference is huge... Is it because Google Analytics doesn't track traffic if visitors disabled cookies? Any answer/help would be very much appreciated ! Thanks, Marianne
  11. Site URL: https://www.prairieresto.com/orders I have two submission forms on my website that have "how did you hear from us" forms. Is there a way to get Squarespace or Google Analytics to track the answers people submit to these questions?
  12. Hi everyone, I'm running a small film / tv / nerdy blog with different contributors. I note that I'm not interested in monetisation (my site has no ads); I'm a student doing this as a passion project for free trying to inculcate a passion for the arts in my community and give new writers a platform to share their work. I'd like to allow other similar websites to share / post our content on their respective websites, but if I did I would like to know how many views each of our articles gets on their website. Letting other sites post our content may also let our writers get paid too, which would be great! I understand using a 'tracking pixel' is a great way to go about this. However, I don't want to use the Facebook tracking pixel due to ethical reasons but also, as of today, Facebook has banned news in Australia and so they're becoming increasingly unreliable and I don't want to implement something that will go bust later. Are there any affordable alternatives I could use (again, I'm a poor student just getting by)? OR is there some sort of code I could inject to achieve the same thing? I'm a big believer in privacy and am not interested in any information beyond pageviews, so I could really use any advice / suggestions I could get. I need something easy to implement and reliable. Please help me tech geniuses! Thank you in advance!
  13. Site URL: https://skiinstructordiaries.com I'd love to be able to have a heat style map on my website showing where my readers are from. It would be ideal if I could use the analytics geography one to show where everyone is from. Any ideas of how to do this ?
