Custom Table Block Plugin - Anyone use it/Alternatives?
LindsayK posted a question in Coding and Customization
Hello, Curious if anyone here has used the Custom Table Block plugin found here: https://www.squarewebsites.org/products/custom-table-block and if yes, if I can see an example of it working in real life. I found this plugin recommended in this forum and it looks exactly like what I need but I'd love to see some real world usage of this tool before I buy it. Alternatively, I'm open to other suggestions for a table-creating plugin that: a) Connects to Google Sheets b) Has a responsive, mobile layout that doesn't involve horizontal scrolling; instead the columns ideally "collapse" -
How do I upload a searchable table in Squarespace?
SFDC posted a question in Coding and Customization
Does anyone have a tool that offers the ability to customize a table to embed on Squarespace? I don't have a background in coding. I managed to embed a google sheet into a page on our website, but I'm not sure how to change the aesthetics or update any settings to provide a more user friendly experience. -
Site URL: https://turbot-armadillo-ja5c.squarespace.com/ Hi folks, site p/word is: SandraCB I have managed to design a table via code I found on the forum to use in the 'additional info' of our product block. This can be seen here https://www.shop.chenebleu.com/wine-shop-uk/abelard12 The issue I am having is, that in adding this code into the box it then makes the alignment of the text underneath more indented as per the image attached. If I remove the code block from the 'additional info' section of the Abelard product the text all lines up once more, so it is definitely that c

Site URL: https://www.pickleballadventure.com/blog/best-pickleball-paddles-for-beginners Is there an easy way to create a product comparison table that displays correctly on mobile, tablet and desktop? I have product reviews and I would like to have a quick comparison at the top of the product review page. I've tried using table creation tools (HTML) but they don't seem to display correctly on mobile.

Site URL: https://textorteam.com/closed-transactions site password: textor The table looks so funky in mobile view no matter what I do. Any suggestions? I used a 3rd party add-on to create table via squarewebsites.org and with all its "mobile" customizations, I still am having trouble. For now, the table in desktop mode is not centered or perfect either but I can fix that, just wanted to simplify for now while trying to solve mobile view. THANKS IN ADVANCE!😀

Site URL: https://www.gpdesignguide.org Hello everyone! I'm working on a site for a non-profit educational program. One component of the site is tabled instructions that can be downloaded or viewed on the site. Initially, we put up PDFs that I converted into images, but the client says this is out of ADA compliance because the text isn't readable as text. So I'm trying to find a workaround. There is of course a table plug-in, but that is for data only in the manner of excel, and I can't format the text inside the cells (to create live links, for instance, to use paragraphs, and to format the

Here's the page: https://potomacadvisors.squarespace.com/evo-1 Scroll down to "Summary Statistics" and you'll see that there is a % on the line before the table. What gives? Thanks in advance for your help. I'm just a layperson, and I've been trying to fix this forever. Driving me nuts! Here's my code: <style type="text/css"> .tg {border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:0;} .tg td{font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;padding:10px 5px;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;overflow:hidden;word-break:normal;} .tg th{font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:

I have searched these forums and have found others with this same issue: no ability to create a table in SquareSpace. I have found several suggestions to insert one using HTML code after generating it on another site. I have done that and inserted the code, but all that comes up are rows and columns of information, not an actual table with borders and cells. I have injected the CSS code into the header on that page, but it's as though the HTML code isn't recognizing it. ALL I WANT IS A GRID FOR MY PRICES. This is incredibly frustrating and honestly, it may shove me over to another hosting si
