  1. Site URL: https://redgumproducts.squarespace.com/ Hello! I have a site in progress (password is 123456) that requires 4 different product paginations. Paginations required as follows.. REDGUM LOG SPLITTERS > 'specific product' REDGUM CHIPPER SHREDDERS > 'specific product' REDGUM LOG SPLITTER ACCESSORIES > 'specific product' REDGUM CHIPPER ACCESSORIES > 'specific product' In order to do this, I created 4 separate store pages (I thought it best to do it this way rather than sorting with categories.) My issue is that I have products set up as summary blocks and I don't want the pagination to go back to the 'products' page. I want the pagination to go back to the unique 'summary' page. I found this code snippet which works perfectly if you have one store page..... <script> $(function(){ $(".ProductItem-nav-breadcrumb-link:first-child").attr("href", "/log-splitters/"); }); </script> I have tried using this code in the page header code injections (obviously changing it to relate to each specific page title) but it is not working out for me. Can this even be done? Any help most appreciated!!!!! Please and thank you 🙂
  2. Site URL: https://www.bbarinaga.com/portadasebooks https://www.bbarinaga.com/portadasebooks password: 1234 Hello, I am on 7.0 and am attempting to simply make one individual summary list switch to 2 columns on mobile. I have used the following code but the change is applied to all summaries and I only need it for this one: https://www.bbarinaga.com/portadasebooks @media screen and (max-width:640px) { .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-item.positioned { width: 50% !important; position: static; } .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-item-list { display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; flex-direction: row; } } Can you help me @tuanphan?? Thanks!
  3. I'm working on several sites using the summary carousel with a feed from a blog to make testimonial sections. I really need a subtitle added with different styling than the title or excerpt. i.e. Name - Position/Company - Review. With the name being the title, position or company being the subtitle, and the review being the excerpt. I have code already to style the title and excerpt, but not how to add the subtitle. I know a little CSS and am expecting the answer to be CSS, but other round about ways are welcome too.
  4. Site URL: https://www.foodforbraces.com/ I have 2 summary blocks on my homepage. One is for blog articles The other is for recipes I want to put a text header before each summary block. I have inserted text for this. When I view on desktop it looks fine, but when I view on a mobile it puts the text header under the summary block. How do I fix this? Is there another way of putting a header in front of the summary block?
  5. Site URL: http://graphicstructures.squarespace.com If you look at this page I have managed to give the blog masonry a hover title and yellow overlay - http://graphicstructures.squarespace.com/ (pass: preview) I am trying to replicate this on a summary block on this page. I am nearly there but it's a bit buggy, isn't working well on mobile and also there is an odd white space under the images? http://graphicstructures.squarespace.com/projects (pass: preview) Here is the code I'm currently toying with: .summary-item img { transition:all .1s ease !important; } .summary-item .summary-content { display: flex; place-items: center; justify-content: center; } .summary-item .summary-content { background: rgba(254,237,0,.9); width:100%; height:100%; position: absolute; color: #fff !important; top: 50%; left: 50%; opacity: 0 !important; pointer-events: auto; transition: all .1s ease; transform: translate(-50%, -50%); -webkit-transform: translate(-50%, -50%); -ms-transform: translate(-50%, -50%); -moz-transform:translate(-50%, -50%) } .summary-item .summary-title, .summary-item .summary-metadata--primary, .summary-item .summary-metadata--secondary.summary-item .summary-excerpt { color: #000 !important; font-size:20px !important; text-align:center !important; background-color: rgba(3,255,255,0) !important; } .summary-item:hover .summary-content { opacity:1 !important; } .summary-title a:after { content:''; width: 100vw; height: 100vh; display: block; position: absolute; top: 50%; left: 50%; transform: translate(-50%,-50%); } .summary-item { overflow:hidden !important; }
  6. Hi, Does anyone know how to hide "only" certain item's price tag on summary block? We have some products not ready for production but still want to show it in our shop. Thank you in advance.
  7. Site URL: https://papaya-armadillo-7acs.squarespace.com/ Password for website: design101 I'm trying to customise a summary block on this website. I'm using the summary block as a testimonial carousel slider, so I'm feeding in the content from blog posts. I can kind of get the content looking almost how I want it when I'm in 'list view', but I still want to show multiple so I'm wondering how I can achieve this. if there even is a way. **This occurs on the home page and the 1:1 coaching page. Below is what I want to achieve. Below is what I've been able to achieve (minus the carousel element).
  8. Site URL: http://www.readersinspired.com Hi everyone! I hope you are well. I am a bit stuck at the moment. I am looking for a way to use a custom CSS font and design of summary items and title on my site in a way that only affects pages under a specific folder (in my cause the "+Shop African Books," folder which include the following pages): West Africa East Africa North Africa Central Africa Southern Africa Non-Country Specific Pan African However the code I put in the the Design -> Custom CSS section of Squarespace (see below) has resulted in a global change of all summary items and titles. Is there a way this change to only affect the pages in the "+Shop African Books" folder and not additional parts of the site outside of this folder like it currently is now: .summary-title {font-family:Serif; font-size: 1.5rem!important} .summary-title {font-weight:bold} .summary-item {box-shadow:5px 5px 15px #ddd} .summary-item:hover {box-shadow:5px 5px #aaa}
  9. Site URL: https://papaya-armadillo-7acs.squarespace.com/ Site password: design101 Hello, I'm customising this summary block for each piece of content to have a 'background'. I've managed to use the custom code to get to this point but I am having this issue on the right hand side where the card is cut off. Please help!
  10. I'm using the Universal Filter and Lazy Summaries plugins to create a large catalogue of images with multiple filters via the Summary block. The issue is my product count goes beyond the 250-image gallery limit, and I want a streamlined design for this page. So I want to know if, like Lazy Summaries removes the item limit, there is a way to remove the single content source limit in Summary Blocks?
  11. Site URL: https://www.mindovermatterzine.com/ I'm changing my site's fonts using Custom CSS but I can't seem to find how to change the metadata font (author, publishing date, categories, tags). I successfully changed the title, 'read more' link and excerpt fonts using the code below but I cant seem to find how to change the metadata fonts. This happened both for blog and summaries. Please help! Code that I currently use: h1.blog-title a { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; font-size: 20px; text-transform: uppercase; } b.blog-excerpt a { font-size: 12px !important; } time.summary-metadata-item.summary-metadata-item--date { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; } a.summary-title-link { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; } a.summary-read-more-link { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; } .blog-item-title h1.entry-title { font-family: 'Romana Bold BT' !important; }
  12. 13. Site URL: http://www.found-hired.com I am looking to make the summary blocks the same height I am currently using some code to make the summary look how it is at the moment however I am struggling to get the blocks all the same height. I would like if possible, for the excerpt to be cut off if it extends past a certain point so they all line up nicely. Any suggestions?
  14. Site URL: https://rumahkeduamedia.com is it possible to make the layout summary on the desktop remain as it is today, while on the mobile it changes to 1 part because the current summary when opened on mobile is very small and uncomfortable when pressing the arrow, except for the summary type list

  16. Site URL: https://graphicstructures.squarespace.com/ I have successfully added a hover over effect on my blog masonry layout - https://graphicstructures.squarespace.com/projects (pass: preview) I now want to replicate the same effect on the homepage https://graphicstructures.squarespace.com/ (pass: preview) using the summary wall block. I am a bit stuck, can someone help? 17. Site URL: https://hooksandhighs.com I've set up a squarespace site for a customer that has a Podcast. In the first iteration I just added the audio blocks directly on the home page but for SEO and because the customer wants to support rss feeds I had to create a blog on /episodes where the customer adds new episodes as blog posts. In order to display the episodes on the home page I use a summary block but I can't find a way to display the audio player directly on the home page. How can this be achieved? Having users click on the link to navigate to the blog post detail page is not an option. I am very disappointed that even though there are multiple posts in this forum about this missing functionality, still nobody from the squarespace team has provided a solution to any of the people having this issue. Also I can't believe that squarespace pours millions in advertising but fails to deliver the most basic functionalities that the community is asking for
  18. I have added a summary block of images to my website. Upon hover/rollover, I would like each individual image to have its own animated gif that plays. I know how to add custom CSS to an entire block, but am having a hard time finding code to allow me to edit each hover image individually within the Summary Block. Thank you so much!
  19. How can I access Projects via a summary block to display on other pages of my site? Not sure why this is, but seems like a big oversight to me. It would be nice to show featured projects elsewhere on our sight.
  20. The blog page is too limited in design for me. I decided to create projects. But I would need tags and categories. furthermore I would need to insert them in the summary block .... Is there any chance to do so?
  21. Site URL: https://www.thetechnologyletter.com Hello all. I'm trying to duplicate the main landing page, which is a blog page, by using a summary block. The summary block style doesn't match the blog page, so I'd like to use code to force the summary block to look like a blog page in terms of font type and font size and the "read more" link, if possible. Does anyone have any thoughts as to how to force summary blocks to take on the same appearance as blog pages? Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
  22. Site URL: https://robin-impala-w8cj.squarespace.com/config/ How do i make some summary blocks non-cliackable. The summary is in Learn-Methods The first 7 (in pink) must be clickable and the others not. I found this on the forum but I can't figure out how to make it work on my site. Any help will be much appreciated!
  23. I have a code where I can have text on top of a photo like this: I'm trying to do this same thing to my summary block titles, as those pics above are just separate images. Any codes out there for this?
  24. Site URL: https://www.nhbassnation.com/2022-tournaments Hello, I am trying to create a filterable table/database like the one found here: https://www.bassmaster.com/bassmaster-tournament-schedule I am using the custom table block connected to a google spreadsheet to do something similar here: https://www.nhbassnation.com/2022-tournaments, however, adding content to this table is a bit challenging due to space/responsiveness, sorting takes a little manual work due to the two day events (e.g. September 17-18), and I'm reluctant to add last year's events to the list without some sort of filter as I know it will crowd things even more. I've explored Event collections but I'm not finding a way to have a clean simple list with links. Ideally, I could set something up that one of our less technical officers could add content to and maintain. Any ideas and recommendations are appreciated. Thanks! James
