  1. Site URL: https://cbcbellevue.com Hello! I have an events list in carousel and the summary title link doesn't seem easily customizable so I tried inspecting and using what I found there (example below) but I can't get the titles to change to be white (they are on a black background index). Any suggestions for css coding to change all my summary link titles for this specific events carousel? specific page is:https://cbcbellevue.com/youth examples: .sumary-title-link #parent-workshop {color:#FFFFFF;} .sumary-title-link#str's-reality-student-conference {color:#FFFFFF;}
  2. Site URL: https://scaced.squarespace.com/in-the-news Hello! For this page: https://scaced.squarespace.com/in-the-news we are using a summary block to display these posts. We only want 5 posts to show at a time, however would love for the user to have the option to click an arrow or button to see the next 5 and so on. Is this possible?
  3. Site URL: https://www.levelstory.net Hi. I use a lot of summary blocks on my website and one thing I would really like to do is have the option to...well, have more options when it comes to organizing these blocks. Ideally I would like to organize by date (from oldest to newest) but there is no option for this and the only resource I have found is a $55 plugin (Lazy Summaries - https://www.squarewebsites.org/products/lazy-summaries). I'm not looking to spend that amount of money for something I will use once or twice. Does anyone know of a code that is cheaper than that, or free, that can allow you to organize a summary block from oldest to newest? Please do not suggest I change the post dates to get around this. I do this when I can but in this instance, I really just need a tool that will do the job I need. Also have to ask, why has Squarespace not implemented this? It feels a bit backwards to have this great website builder but lack basic functions such as this. It is really limiting and makes more work on my end.
  4. Hi I am using the Summary Block (7.1) on my blog index page. By default, the image alt tags in the Summary Block are the blog post title. My blog post titles are creative, not informative, and so they don't make great alt tags. Does anyone know how it might be possible to change the alt tags in the summary block? Thanks! Carol
  5. Site URL: http://www.laurenannephoto.com/home-2 Hello! I have a few questions for the newest site I am working on for anyone that can help! 1) Creating a transparent navigation header - normally I achieve this by setting the navigation and branding to the "bottom" but this isn't working for the home & about page (will link below). These both have a gallery slideshow banner at the top. 2) Having a thumbnail on summary block appear to the left rather than above - Trying to achieve this look for a testimonial slider, by having the testimonial to the right and an image to the left. I think the image may need to decrease in size too. However, I want to target this specific summary block so it doesn't mess with the blog preview. Website: http://www.laurenannephoto.com/home-2 Password: construction
  6. Site URL: https://alhstudio.com/clients-work-1 Hi! I would like to have a subtitle (with a smaller font) above the title of my blog post. Is there a way I can do this with custom CSS perhaps? I am currently using 'excerpt' for my subtitle but it will be under the blog title, which isn't what I am looking for. Some help will be appreciated. Thank you!
  7. Hi everyone: I want to use the Summary Block (Wall) function on Squarespace to display articles on my site's homepage. However, I have not used the Blog preset page function. So, I have put all of my articles into unlisted folders. Is it possible for the pages in these unlisted folders to be displayed on the Summary Block wall display? Or is there another way for unlisted pages to be displayed in a Summary Block, without using the blog function? Thanks so much!
  8. Is there any work around to have a few 'featured' sub-pages from the portfolio section on the home page? I don't want my entire portfolio on the home page, but I do want to showcase a few, but when clicked on I want them to go to the case study within the 'work' section. I've found a work around that links through to the Work master page, but not to the specific case study. Thank you!
  9. Building out a new site in 7.1, and I'm using a summary block to link some images to offsite pages. There are other ways I could do this, but the summary block gives me the best look and functionality for this. Only problem is, I don't have the ability to open the links in a new window, which I generally do with offsite links. Most other areas in Squarespace give you a toggle to chose to "open link in a new window", but I don't see this option in the summary block. There is a selection "Post Title should link to Source URL" but no option to open the link in a new window. Am I missing something, or is there any easy way to add this with code somehow, or any plans to add this feature?
  10. Hi I need to align some icons to the left to match the text. I am using a summary block with the gallery grid option selected. I can't seem to figure out how to make the images align left with the text.
  11. Site URL: https://www.tonywoodhair.co.uk/shop Hi! I’m trying to target specific items within a product summary block so I can make custom text appear on rollover/hover (so, the text would be declared in the CSS, rather than inherited). So far, I’ve got this: This makes all items in summary blocks show the text ‘READ MORE’ on hover — now I’m trying to figure out how to target on a per-item basis, so I can change the text on each item. I can’t find the right mixture of CSS classes and HTML IDs! Any help would be greatly appreciated. The page is here. Thank you!
  12. Site URL: https://meningitis-foundation.squarespace.com/meningitis-symptoms Hello. I ❤️ Ghost Plugins 😉 I'm using one of their summary block plugins and I wondered if someone could help me tweak the code so the height of the containers are fixed. @moovlabs, is this something you can help with? Here's a link to the plugin; https://www.ghostplugins.com/steps/5hn28gh9 I have attached a screenshot too, fingers crossed it's an easy add/fix. ALSO....is there a way to add the plugin to this specific page only rather than the whole site? Given that I am proofing this with the client at random times, I have removed the CSS as it was effecting 3 other pages visually, so if it's not showing that's why you can't see it. Cheers Claire.
  13. Site URL: https://www.pbshealthcare.com/providers-staff Hello! I would like some help custom coding the description of the summary block on mobile. Currently you have to click on a button in the bottom right hand corner to display the text (the bio of staff). Is there another, more prominent way to display this via custom coding??? Thanks in advance!!! Melina
