  1. Site URL: http://www.lynbarrett.com When I am formatting a new blog post, the format bar disappears as I move down the page. So, for instance, when I'm enlarging headings at the top or bottom of the page, I highlight the text, the edit bar comes up, and I format the text. When I am in the middle of the page and highlight the text, however, the bar is not there. If I scroll up or down, I may find the bar but the highlighting has disappeared. To work around the problem, I sometimes write the heading on a line where the format bar worked, then try cutting and pasting to the line intended; this does not work because the text reverts back to original format It's very frustrating and makes what should be a few minutes task become an all day project trying to format text in the middle of the page.

  9. Site URL: https://www.juliestamenic.com/printstore Dear all! Does anyone know how I could add a sentence under the Print Store title OR under the categories? I'd just like to add "All photos are printed on luster paper, one of the highest quality papers on the market" Thank you so much!!!
  10. I'm working on several sites using the summary carousel with a feed from a blog to make testimonial sections. I really need a subtitle added with different styling than the title or excerpt. i.e. Name - Position/Company - Review. With the name being the title, position or company being the subtitle, and the review being the excerpt. I have code already to style the title and excerpt, but not how to add the subtitle. I know a little CSS and am expecting the answer to be CSS, but other round about ways are welcome too.
  11. Site URL: https://khaki-porpoise-sfnz.squarespace.com/config/settings Hello, I am trying to add a line under my title but cant manage without the coding I am also trying to change the color of the menu in white just for the home page please help 😉 thanks
  12. Hello guys, I hope someone can help out with my query. I'm trying to add a subtitle or a short description to my grid thumbs (I'm not too sure about the terminology for this button but please refer to the images for reference). I want it to be so that there will be an additional line/paragraph of a few sentences under 'Unit A' which helps to explain what 'Unit A' would be about. I know it's possible to override the settings using the Custom CSS but I'm not equipped with enough knowledge in that area and would really appreciate if anyone could help me out. Thank you very much for your time and kind attention!
  13. Site URL: http://naturetonurturephotography.com Hi there! Question for @tuanphan — I am trying to alter the weight of the heading / subtitle of my poster image block but the code entered doesn't seem to be making a difference. I need it to resemble the same style as the rest of my site but the weight is 400 on both and the poster block image text appears much more bold. How can I resolve this? Image examples attached. Thanks in advance!
  14. Site URL: https://www.markdanielquintos.com Hi there, I am using template 'Avenue' (markdanielquintos.com) As of now, when clicking on my name in the site title, it links back to the homepage, which is great. I'd like for the subtitle of 'Cinematographer' to operate the same way. I've been googling for lots of code and have found a way to turn 'Cinematographer' into a link, but when I do so, it hovers as red like the rest of my links, I'd like for it to have no change when hovering over it, as 'Mark Daniel Quintos' is. Any tips? Thanks in advance!
  15. Hi! Does anyone know how to add a line of text underneath the title text of the thumbnail images on the portfolio page. There is no space to do this in the individual project settings (which is where the title text populates from). Not sure if this is possible? I'm not familiar with anything but Custom CSS so adding any code feels a bit dubious, but I'm willing to try if it's considered simple for a beginner. I can't share the site URL because it's for a client and unpublished. There are screenshots attached of what I'm talking about indicating where the ask to add a line of body text is. Thanks so much in advance for help/advice/pointing in the right direction.
  16. Site URL: https://alhstudio.com/clients-work-1 Hi! I would like to have a subtitle (with a smaller font) above the title of my blog post. Is there a way I can do this with custom CSS perhaps? I am currently using 'excerpt' for my subtitle but it will be under the blog title, which isn't what I am looking for. Some help will be appreciated. Thank you!
  17. Is it possible to add a subtitle below a product title? I'd like to include the product flavour as a subtitle or sub-heading, so the user doesn't have to click on the product and go to the product details page to get this information. e.g. GOTHAM BLEND COMFORTING & RICH Is this possible with CSS? Thanks!
  18. Site URL: https://www.bradleyvirshup.com Hello! I just switched to using the "Om" template and am trying to figure out how I can have the subtitle on my website display beneath the header while remaining left-justified? Currently, as you can see in the attached image, if my header is left-justified the subtitle appears at the top center of the page. The only way I can get it to appear beneath the header is if I center justify my titles, but can't figure out how to do it with them both left justified. Basically, I want the "director of photography" text to appear beneath my name. I tried to talk to squarespace support and they told me I'd probably have to do it with code, which I have no clue how to do. Any ideas??
  19. How do I add a line of text directly under my list title with a different font?
  20. Site URL: https://www.grandoptimist.com/approach-index#capabilities I am trying to create a bit of animated text using the image block functionality. I am running the Marquee template.

  24. Site URL: https://flamingo-goby-tkw6.squarespace.com/modular-homes Site password: greenfield Hello, I have just started making a website for housing center and I would love to utilize the portfolio feature to showcase the homes rather than the blogs to feature homes. I have added one home/project on the linked page. I am hoping to be able to add some css to be able to add a subtitle such as "Beds: 3 | Baths: 2 | 2280 Sq Ft" I have added a screenshot showing where I am hoping to place this text. *I also want to add a jump link for view homes button to go to those homes.* Thank you in advance for any help or consideration shot this way. ~ Patterson
