  1. On the header of the Flatiron template there seems to be a spacer block on the right side. This causes my navigation buttons to stack one on top of the other on lower resolution screens. I would prefer that they stretch across the top for a little cleaner look. There is no way to just remove this block within the template settings so I am assuming that is embedded into the css for the template and I would like to modify the css on my site to resolve these issues. However, I would also like the mobile version to remain stacked for the navigation buttons. Is there anyone that can assist with this? I am not familiar enough with css to make these modifications myself. Also I have attached pictures to show what I am referring to. The first is my 4k monitor(this is how I would like the navigation buttons to look on all computer screens), the second is on my macbook pro where the third navigation button starts to stack(I do not want this on any computer screen, I want it stretching across the top as one line), the third is on a mobile screen and I want this to stay the same and ideally be the same on ipad and tablets as well(so far no issues with this). Thank you!
  2. Hello, I am looking to adjust a spacer width to be an exact width and it seems to only allow me to change it to their grid? what would be a custom css code to fix this?
  3. I am Remaking an old site that was made in Drupal, I need to make it as similar as possible. Right now when I have two columns side by side they are too close. I tried adding a third column with nothing but a spacer in-between, but it that is too MUCH space in-between each column. Does someone know a way to shrink the width of a spacer block to be smaller than It is normally able? If not that does someone know a way to add a margin, or padding to an entire column? I can't seem to find a block ID for an entire column. @tuanphan this seems like something you would know how to handle. https://earthworm-capybera-xrep.squarespace.com/intellipasssystem
  4. Site: Johnholford.me - (portfolio site, still very much a WIP). I'm a bit frustrated by some behavior of the spacer blocks... what I'm seeing in the edit/preview window is not translating to the actual website. For instance, in the preview window I see:https://ibb.co/wzq6nmL And on the actual site I see:https://ibb.co/W2dQpgW I don't have any custom CSS dictating image spacing or margins... I'm going crazy, just not sure if there's something wrong or if this is the intended experience... any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Hi everyone, I'm using the 'Home - alt' page on Bedford, so it's the slideshow version of the banner. However there is a white space between the banner and footer. I just want it to go straight from the slideshow into the footer at the bottom, is this possible? Many thanks,Lauren
  6. 7. Seems simple enough! I am currently recreating this website In squarespace for a client. I am rather new to squarespace, this is my first project using it to recreate something. The client wants the squarespace remake to be as similar as possible to the website they already made. Everything's been going great, for the most part, only a few times I have had to mess with the custom CSS... Except when I tried to remake this page. Specifically the colored text boxes arranged side by side, one on top of another. I made two columns and started putting in each text box. I found that changing the background color of each individual box is not possible without finding the block ID and changing it yourself in the custom CSS, so thats what I did. In the old site each text box was separated by a white line, showing distinction. However squarespace merged the text so it was not possible for me to put a border around each textbox, nor was it possible for me to increase the spacing... It doesn't seem like this is going to be fixed either... thats ok. So i moved to my next idea, though this is a roundabout way of doing things, I tried putting a spacer in between each little textbox, but adjusting the spacer so that it was much smaller that normal. I thought I had finally come to a viable solution! But... upon further investigation It seems that you cannot make the height of a spacer block any smaller once you get to a certain point. So here I am, going through way to many hoops to do something so simple... believe me if I was making this site for my own purposes, i would have long since given up on this style, however, I am not. I am making something very specific for someone else's needs. If I cannot find a solution to this I will either have to approach the client and tell them "sorry, squarespace just does not allow all of the designs you want." or I will have to move to another CMS. I really don't want to do either of these, so please someone help me out! Thanks in advance.
  8. Hi There,I have added and edited an image to use as my banner for my blog page of my website. The banner does not appear, just a large white space.Seen here, https://www.yescrickets.com/newsI have banner images working on other pages. Any advice? Thanks,Joe
  9. My website: https://thrustinteractive.squarespace.com This sire looks good and has the appropriate white space on the sides of content on desktop, however when I look at the site in a mobile view elements are bunched together and the spacer blocks are lost. I am using the Brine template, is there any way to add code or have the spacer blocks that keep my site clean show up on mobile. It is keeping my website from being responsive and looking as good on mobile as it does on desktop. Thank you for your help!
  10. I'm stumped on this. I want to use the spacer blocks that are included on the website, but I have no idea how to get custom CSS to affect it. Here is the Element I am trying to affect <div class="sqs-block spacer-block sqs-block-spacer" data-aspect-ratio="2.08955223880597" data-block-type="21" id="block-yui_3_10_1_1_1398457714933_10509"><div class="sqs-block-content sqs-intrinsic" id="yui_3_10_1_1_1398459846313_416" style="padding-bottom: 2.08955223880597%;"> </div></div> I need to override the padding that is set by "sqs-block" in "site.css". I want it to just affect the spacer elements on my site and not every block if possible. Does this even make sense??
