Site URL: https://youbydiana.com Hi there Hopefully someone can help me here. I just switched from Wexley to Skye because of the blog options. Now my black backgrounds don't work anymore. (mainly on the homepage of www.youbydiana.com) I have a white gap between black background in Skye which was not the case in Wexley. Here is the code I have used. {background: #000000; color: white; padding: 20px; text-align: center;} The weird thing is that the white gaps dont show in editing mode and appear as soon as I hit save. I was already in touch with Squarespace but they said they can't help because it is code stuff. Does anyone know how I can loose the white gaps? Thank you so much!

Hi, Having an issue with the menu system on the Skye Template. I have a number of page links in the navigation, but the issue facing me is that the Close button is overlapping the menu system as I have left justified it the menu text. How can I resolve this without changing the justification of the menu? Maybe moving the close button to the top right of the nav menu? Thanks Andy

Site URL: https://www.cltfocus.com/ I edit a blog at a university. Blog posts sometimes have multiple authors. Is there a way to include multiple authors (usually Basic Authors) in a single post and have them show up in the sidebar? Here's an example: https://www.cltfocus.com/blog/welcome-to-focus. Ideally, Susan's name would link to her content (including this co-authored piece) and my name (Les) would link to my stuff (including this co-authored post).

Skye template: how to get full posts on blog page?
cjchilvers posted a question in Coding and Customization
Is there any way to get your full blog posts to display on the blog page of the Skye template, like an old-fashioned blog homepage? -
Hi, folks. I want to add an Intro Block to the Tudor template that will allow me to display an introductory paragraph above blogs. I know the Mojave template allows this, but I haven't found a way to replicate this feature in Tudor. Many thanks.

Site URL: https://trevorhughesphotography.com Hello! I'm running into an issue where the hamburger bar is locked on the bottom left corner of the mobile version of the Ready-template I'm using. I contacted support and they referred me here as apparently this template doesn't support moving the hamburger bar around automatically. I was hoping someone might know how I can get the bar to the top left of the mobile version. Something else to note is that I believe since the bar is stuck to the bottom left corner, I'm unable to view the mobile-info-bar even though I have it enabled. I'd love to add the mobile bar to my mobile site. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Hi! My site has the Skye template currently implemented. The home page shows a series of each blog posts as tiles. It used to be that when I would share a specific blog post from the home page, the title of the post would show up as the Title for the Social Sharing. However, recently it now only uses the blog name itself regardless of what I put as the SEO Title Description when publishing. Is there a way to get this to say the intended title with this template? Not sure why it suddenly switched. I've attached images for how I have this set up. Thanks so much!!

Hello! I'm working on my client's site on the Ready template. I'm having issues with the logo in the header (upon scrolling overlapping) over the text on the rest of the page. Is there any way to ensure the sticky header doesn't overlap the main content? Toggling the Site Styles "Header Background When Scrolled" on/off doesn't seem to help. When I chatted with Squarespace Support, I was told the issue could be because of the size of the logo. I'd like to keep the logo at its current size, though. Please note that the problem seems to only appear in Firefox. Thank you! https://www.dearhuman.pet/

Help with content block order on Skye/Ready Template
AndreaMarie posted a question in Coding and Customization
Hello! My site is: https://www.giftoftennis.com/ Hoping for a bit of help with my home page content block order on mobile, as well as a way to add padding between these photos (one photo is pulling from a summary block, the other is pulling from a gallery widget) in mobile view -see images attached. The buttons are appearing where they should on the desktop version (below each section) but in mobile they are stacked. I would like the sections to be stacked header title, summary block, button, instead of the 3 buttons stacked together, if that makes sense. Thank you in advance for your assistance! -
Foundry - Hiding Tags On Individual Posts
createdbyjerome posted a question in Coding and Customization
Hi, Does anybody know how to hide the tags on a blog post when using the "Foundry" theme? I've tried various custom css strings that I managed to find in other places of the forum, with no luck unfortunately. I'm guessing this was due to themes being varied, so they won't use the same class names etc, but it would be a big help if anybody is able to provide some support with this current issue, I'm not sure why somebody would want meta tags displayed publicly like that anyway, it makes the post look messy. Thanks in advance.- 1 reply

In the skye Template the header is on the bottom, this from a UI point of view is unusual, I find cool though but in order for the audience to see it easily it would be great to change the color of the header ONLY on mobile. Anyone who can help me on this?

I want to modify the style of the author profile that displays on my blog posts in the Skye template. The built in style setting allows you to hide this section or move it to the sidebar or below the post. Iād like to change the background color of the container from gray to white.

Site URL: http://www.katewoodcock.co.uk Hi, can anyone help me with some custom CSS to increase the width of the drop-down (folder) in the main nav of my clients site? Any advice hugely appreciated. Jez

Suggestion- have an option for the three bars on the side menu to be able to change to a navigation bar on the top below the logo, similar to Kent Template Menu.

Remove cart icon from Tudor/Skye family template?
Hyperreal posted a question in Coding and Customization
Hi there, The shopping cart icon in the top right is permanent according to the Squarespace chat rep I just spoke with. Does anyone have any custom CSS that could hide it? My page is just a blog and I love this theme for that but don't sell any products. Thanks!- 1 reply
