  1. Site URL: https://www.measuremytribe.com/ I have had a potential client come to me with an issue I cannot think of another way to solve. She is based in Australia and needs to add a surcharge on to rural and regional areas for shipping- obviously you cannot create shipping zones for Australia specifically. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas to fix this?
  2. Hi fellow squarespacers I am trying to find a way to have two shipping options (depending on weight) for regular and express post. Is this possible on Squarespace? Thanks.
  3. Hello! We are going to be selling a Digital book. We don't currently ship physical products to the EU or Great Britain due to VAT regulations. Will customers there be able to purchase this digital book if these countries are not in our selected shipping regions? Thanks!
  4. It's unfortunate there is no way to add product ordering limits . For those of us with a diverse product line, this is a big problem. Having a limit on certain products protects us from unintended shipping fee woes. Say we offer "free shipping" for orders over a certain amount, like $75. If someone wanted to order a large number of a product with a high shipping cost (like a framed print), they could leave us footing a very big shipping bill that could greatly undermine or even erase our profits. We need a way to cap products like this at a certain number. This will prevent such a scenario from happening. Right now it doesn't exist and we're exposed. Having this option available on each individual product/item in our store (which defaults to "unlimited"), gives us much needed flexibility, security, and piece of mind.
  5. Site URL: https://seahorse-soybean-ygpf.squarespace.com/ I manage an artist cooperative and some of our works are not reasonable to ship and need to be local pick up only. I know how to make a "flat rate" local pick up option, but I don't see a way to specify that a particular product should be available only for local pickup. Any ideas? I'm open to plugins or even coding a workaround myself (but it would be great if there is something already existing).
  6. Site URL: https://hibiscus-orb-zzca.squarespace.com/ Hi there, I've spent a looong time this week trying to find a solution for a client who wants the ability to print out branded packing slips to go with the orders from her online shop. She currently uses a a Woocommerce plugin on wordpress and has an integrated label so that when printing each order, she can peel off both customer address and return address to stick on front & back of her packages. See example attached. I have been back and forth all week trying to find a solution via Squarespace and any of the shipping extensions, but no luck. Ideally I'd like to avoid extensions/plugins and allow the client to print out the standard invoice page but on an integrated label so she can peel off customer address and post. Has anyone else found a solution for this? Can't find anywhere stocking the right label sizes for Squarespace either 😞 I've had a few clients requesting this now and seen some similar posts on here. Would be much appreciated if anyone could help! Thanks!
  7. I would like to be able to charge shipping based on the total value of a customer's cart. Not weight, not size. Simply the total amount of their cart. For instance: Cart total: $0.01 to $9.99 Shipping: $5.00 Cart total: $10.01 to $19.99 Shipping: $7.00 Etc. Is there a simple way to do this? I've searched everywhere and come up empty.
  8. Hi I have a retail business which sells some particularly heavy items - compost mainly. I don't want these to be shipped because its just not cost effective for customers or necessary really. I can't seem to find a way to not apply shipping at checkout though. I have pickup enabled but I can't seem to ONLY apply pick up to these products. Is there any way I can do this? Thanks
  9. Site URL: https://www.styledent.com/ Hello, I am trying to integrate UPS onto our Squarespace site so our clients can create a shipping label directly on our site through UPS and print it out. Has anyone had any experience with integrating UPS onto their site with the UPS developer kit/APIs?
  10. Site URL: http://pieconicny.com Hello All... I have a squarespace site for my bricks & mortar bakery. I am in the process of setting up 2 stores on my site, one for local pick-up where customers that live locally can order and pick up an item from my bakery directly. The other store will be "shop to ship" so these products are for national shipping only via UPS. What I cannot figure out is how to offer the pick-up option only in the local store and the shipping option only in the "shop to ship" store. The shop to ship store has the handling part of the shipping cost included in the product cost which is why I set-up 2 different stores. Thank you!
  11. Site URL: http://pieconicny.com Back with another shipping question... How do I get optimization with UPS? I only offer 2nd day air via UPS as my bakery product is perishable. We are located in NY's Hudson Valley 40 minutes south of Albany, NY. This issue impacts any customer that is close enough to our bakery to receive their product the next day irrespective of the UPS service level. Example, someone in NYC orders a pie and pays for 2nd day air as this is the only option I offer. They get charged the UPS 2nd day air charge, but a Ground service level also arrives the next day due to proximity so the customer has therefore paid a lot more than they would have if Ground had been an option. I can't get anyone in UPS on the line to discuss this with. Ideas? Thoughts? Thank you!
  12. Site URL: https://harp-oleander-5nbr.squarespace.com/config/commerce/discounts/63148e643a239a5927638b14 Hi, I have set up my website to discount the shipping when orders are over $150 however for some reason it's still charging for shipping and don't understand why can someone please advise why this is happening, my total order should be $622.11 not $632.61 Thank you
  13. Site URL: http://bitterslab.com My client has a quarterly subscription product. She consistently has issues when a client moves and needs to update their address. They either update the address in their SS account and she has no idea so she sends the product to their old address, OR, if they happen to contact her, she has to tell them to cancel and resubscribe. We're open to all kinds of creative solutions (custom dev, additional apps, etc) short of moving to a completely new subscription platform. Possible solutions (no idea if they're possible): A) Enable customer to change their shipping address for a subscription product B) Edit the customer address section in the account area so customers are forced to send an email or fill out a separate form to change their address, vs the default SS address update. C) Create a notification when a customer updates the address in their account so my client knows to update it in her own system Any ideas? Thanks!
  14. New to Squarespace and online commerce. I sell art prints. They don't weigh much. The weight is mostly in the packaging itself. So, if I ship 1 print versus 4 prints, the weight doesn't change much, but I can only assign weights to the individual prints. I can account for the package weight in the print's weight, but then the package weight is multiplied if a customer wants 4 prints making the shipping way higher than needed. Is there some clever way to handle this? Thanks!
  15. Site URL: https://www.bouldercarepackages.com/ Will squarespace ever add a date picker option in the custom checkout form which would allow you to blackout certain delivery dates? We use a custom checkout form now that includes notes that say we only deliver Monday-Friday, but people either ignore or don't read the notes and we get delivery orders all the time for weekend days. Would be great if you provided a simple calendar where we could blackout days we do not deliver. Our customers select multiple items for each order, so adding a date picker plugin on a product form is not practical, as it would ask the delivery date for each individual item.
  16. Hello, I searched the forums, but could not find the answer. This is my first post. I setup pickup delivery options using the new feature. However, I am trying to edit the Ready for Pickup email notification, but can't seem to find where the information is being pulled. The email information is greyed out (See screenshot below). I am not sure where the address or hours are being pulled from. I tried editing a few fields, including settings, business information, but no matter what I have tried the test emails come back with the generic info as shown below. Ideally, I would be able to remove the address and hours as I do not own a physical business and pickup location and time varies by order. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  17. Site URL: https://www.survivaltechniques.co.uk/shop Hello! I am moving my shop over to Squarespace from BigCartel and can't find a way to register the correct shipping for my products. I sell a range of paintings, prints and canvas bags which have a big range of shipping prices, ie a painting is going to cost a lot more to send than an A3 print. I can only find an option to set shipping rates by weight or flat rate, neither of which work as customers often buy a combination of products, which each need to be packaged separately. Is there a way I can set a shipping rate per product? I used to have my shop with BigCartel and it was very easy to set a specific shipping rate for each product. The current options in Squarespace are driving me crazy with how inflexible they are. Any help would be much appreciated. This is my shop: https://www.survivaltechniques.co.uk/shop
  18. Hi there, Ive been looking around in the forum and all over the website and I cant seem to find what Im looking for. If you use Shopify you are able to toggle on and off insurance for every purchase and it charges the customer. I cant seem to find this setting in Squarespace. I attached a screenshot of what Im talking about. Any info would be super helpful! Thanks!!
  19. I have two commerce sites that I wanted to have different shipping location limitations. And at this time, there is not a way to set up different shipping options for different store pages on the same site according to Squarespace support. I wonder what work around can be done with this situation.
  20. Hi all I just wanted to ask if anyone is using Paperform as an integration with Squarespace. I'm looking into this option for a local delivery/postcode shipping solve, but i'm in early stages (it may not work). I'm wondering if anyone has successfully integrated Paperform to take details during product order stage (taking delivery details, or pick-up times, custom order details etc.) and had that information translated to the checkout with the order. A very out-of-the-box solution but we are desperately trying to stay with Squarespace as my client really doesn't want to swap to Shopify just for this feature. Thanks, any insight on Paperform on this thread welcomed 🙂
  21. Site URL: https://www.alunia.com/ I have setup "Carrier Calculated via FedEx" Shipping Options for the store but it's only being offered to US customers. How can i make it world-wide?
  22. Site URL: https://www.koryrussellart.com I entered the wrong tracking number and now can't figure out how to fix it. I changed the order from fulfilled to pending and added the right tracking number, but how do I delete the wrong one?
  23. Hi! I actually have a question for fellow e-commerce store owners here. I've been running an online t-shirt company for almost 3 years now. Basically, its just a graphic design tee dropshipping store. In those 3 years, I was using a 3rd party fulfillment company called Red Stag here in the US for bulk orders - and for the most part that has been working well. For smaller orders, I do the usual direct to customer dropshipping set-up, and if its bigger orders from retailers, I work with Red Stag. However, fairly recently (give or take the last 3 months) I was keen on seeing if I could actually start doing customized shirts, which would require me to drop my supplier (as they don't offer than option) and take everything in-house. I was wondering what software (for tracking, inventory, etc) are y'all using for your stores that are self-managed? I could still stick with Red Stag but from a financial pov, it only makes sense with bulk orders. Would love some input and feedback regarding this - any comments at all is highly appreciated. Tysm!
  24. I need to add VAT to JUST the shipping cost (UK based). Squarespace has informed me this isn't a built in-function they have at the moment, which isn't ideal. I was hoping someone else would have a workaround as there are many businesses who sell products that don't need VAT added to the products, just the shipping. Thank you
  25. Site URL: https://www.nscp.org/nscp-store Hello - we have a store with just 9 items - https://www.nscp.org/nscp-store I'm looking for help to set up simple flat shipping rates and adding taxes - this may be done with an extension but I'll still need help most likely at your hourly rate. Thanks in advance.
