We have a Farm Shop in Surrey, UK and we would like to offer Grocery boxes, Gift Hampers and flowers for local delivery only (we deliver in our vans and do not want to offer nationwide delivery). I have recently upgraded to the Advanced Plan, Commerce and yet I have just realised that SquareSpace only offers postcode restrictions in the USA and Canada and this is an important part of our website. Is anyone able to tell me whether we can employ a SquareSpace expert to make it possible to limit the postcode delivery area for our online customers? (We are in the UK)
  2. Has anyone found any work around with the waitlists feature, ie- not showing up until you click onto the sold out button and choose a variant? Who is going to click on SOLD OUT and then choose A VARIANT before seeing the WAITLIST? Either have it under the products or allow under product that's SOLD OUT a WAITLIST option with when you click through to the full bleed product page it is there straight away - cant be that hard to implement surely. It was one of the features I am paying extra money for ( including USA shipping calculations ) although I am UK based ( when will we have UK & other country shipping options based on supplier and weights etc!! ) Come on SS - your'e amazing - get your act together! cheers, Brett bh.mov

  4. I have a floral company operating on the Squarespace platform and sometimes customers purchase multiple arrangements going to different addresses all in the same order. For example, for Mother's Day the same customer may order an arrangement for their mom and grandmother, both going to separate addresses, but paid for on the same order. Is there a way to get a separate shipping address per item versus collecting all the shipping information generally at the end? Or is there a way to turn of collecting the shipping address (which we could rather build into a form)? Our overall goal is that we’ll be able to more efficiently track and fulfill deliveries as separate orders. I reached out to squarespace and they advised this was not something they offered, which is a bit shocking. Are there other companies out there that have this issue and/or workarounds? Any guidance would be GREATLY appreciated.

  6. I am selling services, not physical products. How do I get rid of the shipping information on the automatic order confirmation email? I created all of my services, as services and not products and the shipping info is still popping up on the email order confirmation. Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

I know how to make a "flat rate" local pick up option, but I don't see a way to specify that a particular product should be available only for local pickup. Any ideas? I'm open to plugins or even coding a workaround myself (but it would be great if there is something already existing).
  8. Hi all! Just trying to find some info about why Northern Ireland and the surround islands of the UK are placed under the umbrella term of the UK with regards to shipping zones? Anyone UK-based knows that it costs more to send to N Ireland than is does the Mainland UK (if based in Mainland UK, and vice versa)... We can find no option to define by country (England, Scotland etc), so wondered if anybody has found a workaround for this? Thanks v much in advance!

We have limited items that can ship and we need to offer our bistro menu items before we face similar restrictions to NYC. Please make this an option in the commerce function to limit single items shipping options to “In store pickup up only”. This will seriously hurt our business without this option.
  10. Site URL: https://sashalennonpottery.com/ I sell physical goods, and I have upgraded my site to included carrier calculated shipping rates at checkout. Most of my goods require a box for shipping, but I recently started selling stickers. Stickers are flat, and don't need to be shipped in a box. I want the calculated shipping when shipping only stickers to be $0.55 (the cost of a stamp). I can't find a way to manipulate the carrier calculator to know to place the items in an envelope and not a box. I have tried creating a flat rate shipping option, but since I can't apply shipping options to individual products, the shipping option displays at checkout as an option for all orders. I have lost money when people ordering items requiring a box choose the sticker shipping option. I have also tried making a discount for free shipping for the stickers but, again, when people order multiple items it applies the discount to the entire order when I don't want the entire order to have free shipping. Please help!

Currently building a new shopping site (in Brine v7, of course!) and my client will be fulfilling their own orders and delivery, and would like to be able to notify their customers of when the delivery is expected. I can see the MARK FULFILLED button, which will send an email to say "it's on its way", and I can insert a tracking number, but ideally we'd like to be able to override this (or add) a note to say "we'll see you about 4pm later today" or similar. Does anyone have any ideas how this can be achieved? Many thanks.

  13. Has anyone else encountered an issue with using the ShipStation extension not pulling product variants or images from the site? I've got support tickets out on both platforms, but they seem to be pointing the finger at each other rather than working on a fix for the last two weeks.

Hey all - I have a client who wants to add a plugin to their site that will allow the ability to plug in a zip code and have the user alerted as to whether or not they currently service that area. I thought zipfinder was the answer, but that's just for specific locations (not a map delivery zone type plugin). Has anyone had experience with this? Any good solutions out there? I'm wondering if it is possible to change the shipping costs on a subscription product, and for it to be implemented on existing subscribers? Postage in the UK has just gone up, and so I adjusted the shipping costs on my subscription product by £0.10. I currently have 245 subscribers to this product, and only brand new subscribers are having to pay the new adjusted shipping cost (which is £0.70). All existing subscribers are paying £0.60. I asked Squarespace about this via email, and their advice was to have my existing customers cancel their subscription, and then resubscribe ... but I desperately don't want to do this, as i'm positive i'll lose a significant bunch of customers. It seems unfair, to me. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is change possible?
  20. I have a digital file product line that I sell. My problem is I personally do not have the digital file for the customer to download, it comes from the designer to my customer directly. So when entering the product, I can not make it a digital file without uploading an actual file. Therefore, I had to make it a physical product. Now my issue is even though I left it 0 lbs. for weight, my customers will still get charged a shipping fee. I cannot figure out how to make just a certain product category free shipping. None of the discount options work here. Any thoughts on how I can do this? Jennifer

She wants to offer three tiers of shipping: a) regular carrier calculated shipping for less than 5 items b) 5$ shipping for 5 items c) 50$ or more get free shipping Options A & C are easy enough to put in place but im not sure how you would address option B? I am selling art from multiple artists, the item remains with them until it is sold, and then they ship it directly to the customer. I need shipping to calculate based on the location of the item, not the location of my business.

    Hey, Does anyone know why there isn't an option for putting in a UK address on my shipping section in my checkout? I've changed the country to UK on my settings but I've just tested it out and it's still only got United States as as option. Help please!
  24. I want to start a small online store on your website, business annual plan looks good to me, but I have a few questions. If I take the annual plan can I cancel after some time and stop paying in case it doesn't fit me? Also, is there any way to allow payment with credit cards on my website without Stripe since it's not available in my country? If I use Flat Rate, how does that really work, if someone pays for a product do I just ship it to the address they've entered?
  25. So I'm using the print fulfillment site Printful.com to sell mugs on website but I've run into a problem when a customer buys the same product but 2 different designs. Say I have 10 different designed mugs up for sale on my site, and a U.S. customer orders 2 different mugs, shipping is $7 and every additional mug is $4 so the total shipping cost for 2 different mugs is $11. But on my site, when a customer orders 2 different mugs the shipping is $14. Does anyone know of a work around other creating 1 product page and listing all 10 mug designs as variants? Because that isn’t going to work for me especially since I plan on having over 30 unique mugs in the near future and I want them all to be separate from each other, so it makes it easy for the customer to see each mug on their own. Is Squarespace working on a shipping feature like this?
