  1. Can anyone provide me some insight? Today a customer contacted me as she was about to pay for shipping on my site and it was over $25. I went onto Shipstation and using the same exact info as on my site, it was SIGNIFICANTLY less money. I contacted Shipstation and they didn't have an answer stating it was up to the various shipping companies but that didn't answer the issue. I don't want to be gauging customers on shipping and didn't realize there was that much of a cost difference until she pointed it out. Any advice/help would be welcomed.
  2. Site URL: https://sashalennonpottery.com/ I sell physical goods, and I have upgraded my site to included carrier calculated shipping rates at checkout. Most of my goods require a box for shipping, but I recently started selling stickers. Stickers are flat, and don't need to be shipped in a box. I want the calculated shipping when shipping only stickers to be $0.55 (the cost of a stamp). I can't find a way to manipulate the carrier calculator to know to place the items in an envelope and not a box. I have tried creating a flat rate shipping option, but since I can't apply shipping opti
  3. Hello- I am almost ready to start my on- line shop! Howver, I noticed that I am unable to put a "limit" on customer's orders. For example, if a customer wants to order an item x 10 vs x 100; right now, I am told by squarespace that I need to put a "generous" amount of shipping rate (because they do not have a feature to cap a limit on orders) but I am stuck on how to calucate on shipping when a customer orders a large amount of order... It is easy to put a shipping rate for certain amount ie) up til 1 poud but after that- meaning for heavier weights- I am not certain how to work on
  4. Does anyone have a work around to make negotiated shipping rates work?
  5. Site URL: http://www.silentseasonmusic.com Hello, I am setting up the shipping details for my store on SquareSpace and need guidance. We're a rock band selling physical cds and t-shirts and receive many orders from the U.S. and internationally. 1) Understanding SquareSpace only calculates rates for the U.S., can I use the 'USPS Real-Time Fates' functionality along with the weight or flat-rate feature for all other countries? I'm trying to get a sense on how businesses handle shipping for both domestic and international orders? Thanks, David
  6. Site URL: https://pear-begonia-tbdb.squarespace.com/checkout Hi all, I am using the Tresiore template. I have done a couple of order trials with different products and both times a shipping cost appears in the initial order summary panel, before the customer enters their address, please see below screenshot. I have 6 different shipping rates set up depending on product weight and destination and the order summary panel shows 2nd most expensive one as a default. I am concerned this might deter customers from proceeding with the purchase. I would like the shipping cost to only app
  7. Site URL: https://www.shop.chenebleu.com/ Hi all, We are having this problem with the above site: P/word: SandraCB The shipping for the wines is based on the number of bottles per order - we have used the weight to system to achieve this. So one unit of weight is equivalent to one bottle of wine. The problem arises with the other gift items that we sell, and that we use a different courier for. We are using the same weight system to price the shipping for these items, however, if we add 1 x bottle of wine and 1 x gift item to an order, the shipping price is only based on the comb
  8. Site URL: https://www.circlethreedesigns.com/ I am looking for a way to use my Fedex account to calculate shipping charges. Ideally, I would like to take my Fedex rate and add 5-10 percent. Is there a way to do this? Thank you in advance!
  9. Site URL: https://www.entropypress.co.uk/ Hi all, We sell books in the website. I managed to set up the flat rate shipping option for the books, based on shipping to UK, Europe and rest of the worlds. The zines have a different shipping cost, again based on shipping zones, which is different from the books. How can I set it up? It seems that at the moment the only solution would be to set up all the products on weight rate instead? Any tips? Many thanks
  10. Site URL: https://www.hoipolloibrewing.com/hoi-polloi-shop/crowler-cans-curbside-pickup-or-delivery Hello, Is there a way to be able to charge delivery by radius (city or zip code)? For example, customer input there's information address > checks out "delivery-only" > input billing if the same address or not > the delivery fee will automatic added billing before place order. Is there an option for that or need to upgrade the account? Hope that make sense. Sorry for any typo or grammar. Thank you!
