  1. I want to offer free shipping when you purchase 2 items. Tech support suggested I create a discount code based on the product category. But there is no way to make sure they buy 2 items. This system is super old school and needs to come up to speed. Does anyone have any suggestions? Other than switching which is the next option.
  2. Hi, I'm struggling to find the right option for my client on a specific shipping option. Within the shop she will be selling items that require both shipping rates and free shipping. I have managed to set the shipping rates for items that are UK (free) and International (£35). However, She is also wanting to sell illustrations, but have these set to free shipping worldwide. I can't figure out how to do this, as any shipping address outside of the uk automatically adds the £35 Shipping charge. I have also looked at adding a free shipping discount option, but this is not available at category level. I can only offer a value or percentage off. If I select the value or percentage option, any UK buyer could also use this to gain additional discount. If I select Free Shipping across the board, any user with the code could apply this too. Am I missing something or have I explored all options? Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Graham
  3. Hi I am trying to set up a store but I have some items which are store pick up only and others which can be shipped. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to allocate certain shippng rates to certain products, rather than offering all options to customers on all products? Thanks
  4. Hello, Is there any way to reorder customer shipping options in a specific way that is not related to cost? We started offering free pick-up at our physical business in the wake of reopening, but because our only other shipping option is tied to free shipping over $25, it lists the free pick-up options ahead of what we would consider our default method. Because we are a small business and not all customers are local, this is creating issues with customers not paying attention during check-out and selecting pick-up accidentally (we then of course have to create an additional level of communication with the customer now to confirm). Fairly confident that if the top or default ship method was listed first, this would not be an issue. Any feedback would help! Thanks.

  8. So, I have a site where I sell soap and candles. With the heat, I'm always afraid of things being delayed and melting when being stored. Is there a way to put in a 'checkbox' or something the customer has to acknowledge, that even though we use ice packs, their product may show up damaged from heat, and have them accept responsibility for the shipment before they place the order?

I know how to make a "flat rate" local pick up option, but I don't see a way to specify that a particular product should be available only for local pickup. Any ideas? I'm open to plugins or even coding a workaround myself (but it would be great if there is something already existing).
  10. Hello All! I am new to Squarespace and launching my first E-Commerce site! This is all new and exciting but can also be quite daunting. I am looking to sale a perishable frozen product direct to consumer. I have lined up my own drivers with frozen reefer trucks to ensure delivery of the products. I am located throughout Canada and want to launch in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) as a test run. I noticed that the Advanced Commerce Plan includes "Advanced Shipping" which details "Automatically calculates real time rates for USPS, FedEx and UPS. Control your shipping options at the ZIP Code Level in the US and FSA Level in Canada" Does this mean i can apply a Geofence around who can place an order? As i am currently only looking for local GTA residents during my initial launch stage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, David !
