  1. Site URL: https://www.stevemarais.com Hello smart people of Squarespace :) I'm a photographer, I have a simple website that I love. However, I recently did a google search on my name and was horrified to discover that my site is nowhere to be seen. https://www.stevemarais.com I followed the Squarespace SEO guides and made a few tweaks as best I could without compromising the simplicity of my site, but so far nothing has changed. Thing is, I used to rank no.1 for many years. I'm baffled. I'd hate to move back to a wordpress based site (it would probably be simple enough to recreate) because I love the simplicity and functionality of Squarespace, but if my site is unsearchable I might be left with no choice. Any help, advice or guidance will be absolutely appreciated! What can I do? Many thanks! Merci!!! Steve
  2. Site URL: https://docs.google.com/document/d/19QInE4fWxGTgQH4XrqNeypn6HVMlGIm7lUvRpJS5oEI/edit?usp=sharing Join a quickly growing digital agency focused on creating and improving SquareSpace websites for mental health therapists. I'm looking for an SEO Specialist who likes to analyze SEO data and views it as part of an overall marketing strategy, rather than simply report the data to people who don't understand what the numbers mean. Please click this link to view the job description and if interested, complete the linked application: https://docs.google.com/document/d/19QInE4fWxGTgQH4XrqNeypn6HVMlGIm7lUvRpJS5oEI/edit?usp=sharing Note: Please read the description before replying here with questions. I will only be interviewing candidates who complete the application.

  4. Site URL: https://servantleadership.ca Hello all! I'm about to start a new website project for an existing client. We have their current website built on Squarespace and the new one will be on Squarespace as well. All of the content is changing so we were going to start a brand new site in Squarespace. We were thinking this through as they have made some great moment with their SEO and get hits from all over the world - they recently landed jobs with Canadian Tire (Massive Canadian retailer) and Vodaphone in Egypt! They are concerned that with this brand new website they will lose some of that SEO. I should also mention we will be changing the domain from servantleadership.ca to servantleadershipacademy.com as their audience and customer base is now global. Should we be starting from scratch or should I build their new website with their current Squarespace plan? I'm hesitant as I just hate working in the preview mode and hate leaving public pages half baked as we work through a project. Or does any of this matter? Will we be losing our SEO gains by switching domains and having all new content anyway? I'm open to any and all feedback! Thank you! Matty @makewell
  5. Site URL: https://www.walkingforhealthandfitness.com In Goolge Search Console I get this error message on a graph: 48 poor URLs. This began 3/30. I had no idea until I typed my website address into Google Search and a blogpost from the site appeared but not the home page. What is the problem? How do I fix it See attachment...Notice the problem doesn't appear in mobile. Thanks, Frank
  6. Site URL: http://www.allthehatswewear.com My Facebook posts for my blog display my old domain "Scott Snow Speaks" in the post description but I've changed my primary domain to "All the Hats We Wear" yet the old domain still displays - see attached. Where do I update this? I couldn't find anything amiss in SEO settings within Squarespace. Thanks.
  7. Site URL: http://www.macneill.photography I'm using Wexley to host my photography site. Photographers' biggest problem with SEO is the relative lack of copy/text for Google to bite on. So images titles or captions are essential IMHO. But I'd prefer if they were hidden (and only visible with 'hover over' in the lightbox). So my question is this: Will hiding the caption effect my SEO? Thanks.
  8. Site URL: https://www.mauricesamuels.net Hello! I helped publish a squarespace site in early March, but the site still does not appear at all in google's search results. https://www.mauricesamuels.net So far, I've followed the suggested squarespace SEO guidelines (using keyword optimized site title/descriptions, SEO descriptions, optimized images/URLs, etc...), as well as requested indexing, and submitted a sitemap in google search console. I understand that it might take some time for indexing, but as previously mentioned it's been ~2 months and to search for the author's name and for nothing to appear at all in the results seems bizarre. Please let me know if if there's anything else I might try to help solve this issue? Thanks in advance!
  9. Site URL: https://birthdaystar.org I am running an image sharing site, We want to sell our birthday images. But as much I know about SEO it all depends upon written content. If I am sharing images in a post then there will be less than 300 words in post. So in that case how can I do SEO of my site because google may ban me due to less content. Also please suggest some SEO backlink Source for my images sharing site. Please Help me....
