  1. Site URL: https://www.lynnemeade.com/ I'm having an issue with display of related products in an online shop to be launched soon. The SQSP version is 7.0 and the template is Avenue. The three related products display next to each other horizontally similar to the computer desktop view, rather than stacking vertically in a single column. My understanding is that images stack vertically on mobile in the Avenue template, except in some blocks like summary carousels which stack in two columns. (I'll address an issue with that display in a separate question.) The resulting display of product images and text is too small for a user to see and read well, particularly on mobile phones. On mobile phones, I'd like each related product to stack vertically with the product title and price centered below the product thumbnail. The product title and price may require left justified styling for longer titles. I'll have to test the best overall text styling once the related products display vertically stacked. For now, I've set the "Details Alignment: Center" in site styles. The tablet display is problematic as well, even more so in portrait mode. I'd prefer to keep the three related products in one row horizontally rather than creating two columns. I noticed that the related product images and text don't span the full length of the screen inset. Perhaps changing that would help on tablets in both portrait and landscape mode. To see the display issues, I've attached two screenshoots of the current horizontal mobile phone display and one of the tablet display. The web site is Lynne Meade Ceramics. Code from two related-products questions Displaying 2 columns / Related Products / Mobile and Limit the number of related products didn't correct the display issue. My being new to custom CSS is hampering the effort. I'd appreciate any pointers on how to resolve this display problem. Kindly, K
  2. Site URL: http://www.arch-worldwide.com/shop-all Hello, How can I reduce the size of the images on the related products block? Demonstrated below:
  3. Hi All, I'm looking to see how I can show just 3 related items on a product page, not all of them. I've looked through the guides, forums and can't find the answer which seems to be a no-brainer. I feel like I've even seen it before, but not here: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033322792 Thanks, J
  4. Site URL: https://www.devourcatering.com/devour-store/fantastic-fathers-day I'm looking to have related products filter more specifically. I would like a product to have two categories: The event (father's day) and (Addon) so the related products underneath would be Bother fathers day related AND addon related. the store I'm building has events that have specific addons that we don't want available to other products. BUT there are general addons the should appear globally (booze for example would show up as an addon under both father's Day AND a picnic product.. right now it grabs related product that have the same first category or tag.. Solutions get my eternal respect.
  5. Update: I was mistaken. I had the site on "Business" pricing tier and not the "Basic Commerce". Related products is available in "Basic Commerce". Also I reached out to Thompson Web Design who posted in the the thread linked below about a solution to display gratuity options at checkout. He was able to modify the code to work with my version of Squarespace and theme and it works nicely. ---Ignore Below--- We are looking for a way to implement gratuity in our restaurant oriented Squarespace store. I did find a related thread with a plugin suggestion and alternately a workaround to use the "related products" feature to implement gratuity using an inventory item. Forum Thread: In my case the 3rd party plugin isn't compatible with the version of Squarespace/them-family that I'm on. While it would be nice to have a dedicated gratuity function in the store, the "related products" workaround seemed like it would work. However this requires the most expensive plan in "Advanced Commerce" which as far as I can tell we would not use any of those features. I think we are barely using all the "Basic Commerce" features. A couple of things: Is handling gratuity in the store directly on the product roadmap? If so is there a guestimate on timeline? Given a lot of restaurants and other businesses right now are trying to adapt to COVID restrictions right now is it possible to make the "related products" feature available to business and basic commerce plans in a similar way that gift cards were made available for a limited time? If so I'm sure a support article to implement the gratuity workaround with related products would be appreciated by others. Thanks!
  6. Site URL: https://pelican-chiton-xwy4.squarespace.com/shop/fos-classic Hello, I can't figure how to change the font-size on my ¨Related Products¨ title on my PDP's (called YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE). https://pelican-chiton-xwy4.squarespace.com/shop/fos-classic I mean, I can do that by tweaking the CSS's from the Inspector but change doesn't take place on my site when adding it to "Design > Custom CSS". Is there any way I could make this title behave as an h4 instead of and h2? Perhaps by adding some "code injection / html"? Or any other workaround? I would like this title to be 18px font size. Thanks! Xavier
  7. Site URL: https://aqua-begonia-5k3p.squarespace.com/raffles/firestickamazon-fire-tv-stick-with-alexa-voice-remote-sawr4 To anyone who read this, Little bit stuck on a problem i have. 8. Site URL: https://www.kinship-press.com Hello, I want to be able to centre my recommended products title "You Might Also Like..." and chance it to either header 1 or 2 (as I have a custom font applied to these) but it seems permanently stuck on header 2. What can I do to customise it? Many thanks, Alice
  9. Site URL: http://granitebeltweddings.com Hey, newbie here Does anyone know the trick to have products rotating on your pages, each time its refreshed etc & not just have each product set in the same position?? Thanks for your help
  10. Site URL: https://www.justgoodjuju.com Currently, Related Products appears at the bottom of the Product listing. Is there any way to position it ABOVE the Additional Info?
  11. Site URL: https://araraswim.nl/bikini-sets/gin-amp-tonic-bikini-set-7yajb Hello all, Happy Easter first of all. I enabled my site to show related products on every product's page, and added tags on related products so it knows what to show. However, if you go on my website link the related products block show a white "picture" where the related product image was supposed to be and you have to hover over the products to actually see the product picture. This is quite strange and I don't know how to fix it. Can anybody help? thank you very much!
  12. Site URL: https://www.jupiter10.com Hi, I’m trying to make the ‘related products’ displayed in 2 columns for mobile users. I’m currently using the code below to display the product page in 2 columns and it works perfectly, how can I tweak it in order to also make it apply to related products? Many thanks in advance. @media only screen and (max-width: 700px) { #productList .product { clear: none!important; margin-bottom: 2em; width: 48%; } #productList .product:nth-of-type(odd) { margin-right: 3%; clear: left; } .product img { max-width: 100%; max-height: 100%; } }
  13. Site URL: http://www.coindisplays.com I have enabled related products on my site. When a customer goes to one of our products, they see the related products at the bottom. I was able to stylize some things like the amount of products shown and few other details however the title has been an issue. Currently, it seems to be defaulted to H2 size and it is just too big. I tried to omit putting a title but it would not let me, it is required. I want to be able to change the size of it, to H3 or different and not affect the rest of the site. This should be able to be stylized like the other details of this. The images adjust based on the browser however the text stays large. See attached image. Please assist if you know of a workaround or css code to change it. Thanks, Paul
  14. Hey there, just started using the Related Products functionality on my shop, but noticed that products from other product pages with the exact same categories do not show up in the randomized selection. I know each page has it's own tags and categories--is there ANY way to get products from other pages to show up? I have a clothing business and each product page has a type of item: ie "tops" "dresses" "shoes" and I would like to be able to recommend products between those pages to create more dynamic browsing, so for example, I would like to recommend shoes to go with pants and a top despite the fact that they are on different pages. Is this possible or do I need to use blocks or just dump everything into one page and create a filtering system using categories (vs separating them out into pages?) thx
