  1. Site URL: https://theretrocollectiveco.com Hi! I am looking to customize my website so that when a customer selects a product that has more than a quantity of 1 (and therefore has a quantity box in the listing) they are only able to select up to the amount that I have available. For example, if you go to this listing: https://www.theretrocollectiveco.com/shop/p/preserved-purple-viola-teardrop-necklace-gold I have 2 of these necklaces available, but when you go to the quantity box, you can select as much quantity as you'd like using the ^ arrow button. If possible, I would like to instead have a quantity box that drops down and allows you to pick the options 1 or 2 and so on if say I had a product that had 2+ quantity available. Right now, if someone tries to check out with say 5 necklaces (just as an example), a pop-up will show up when they try to add it to their cart saying "Sorry, we only have 2 of that item available." I ideally do not want these pop-ups on my website which is why I would like to do the drop-down style box instead if possible! Anyone have ideas?? Any and all help is much appreciated!
  2. HI guys, I just noticed that on my e-commerce store non of the subscriptions have a feature to add more than one quantity. This is a huge feature that should be added, my customers can't purchase more than one subscriptions at a time. This is a huge disadvantage., has anyone had any work around ? I can have customer log back in and subscribe again, however once the same dollar amount is added to the credit card it gets declined as the bank figures its a duplicate transaction. Help!!
  3. Site URL: https://sampleyoga.squarespace.com/cart Hi, Im trying to change the background of the quantity box to match the grey colour on the rest of the page. I though this code would do the job but nothing happens when I put it in the css editor. .RgUdJr28R input { background-color: #dee0e2 !important; } Thanks!
  4. Site URL: http://www.madeleinewideland.com When adding a product to a store in SQ 7.1 you must set the quantity to "2" for the quantity field to be visible on the product page. If I set it to "1" the field disappears. I've checked this with chat support and that's what they say, the number must be "2". So if I in reality have only one product of each, the system will still think that I have 2 items in stock, which means that if a customer orders 2 items of the same product (when it's only 1 available) they will not be alerted and neither will I. This will be a nightmare and I honestly don't know how to handle this. I'm starting to feel a little desperate since I was about to launch my shop today when I suddenly noticed this! Anyone?!?
  5. Site URL: http://www.melanonutrition.com/shop Hello! Is there a way to set a MAXIMUM limit to how much a customer can purchase of each item, like a grocery store with '5 item limit' We need a way to prevent some customers from purchasing too much and leaving others without items other than a pop-up or in title of item (tried both and nada) Thank you, Diane
  6. Has there been any news about an implementation of a Minimum Item Quantity Purchase for individual products? I saw that a minimum order subtotal was implemented, but that doesn't help my situation. Right now I'm using a work-around for each item page, but the customers can change the quantity in checkout to below the minimum. From what I read, I'm not the only person who's been wanting a feature similar to the attached image. Has there been any progress or work done in that area? It's the number one thing that I'm missing from Squarespace that other platforms offer.
  7. Site URL: https://rocksforlife.com/ Hello, I would love the price to be displayed above Quantity and Add to Cart buttons rather than under the product title. How could I achieve that? This code doesn't work for me since I also want Quantity and Add to Cart buttons to be displayed in one line for desktop. section.ProductItem-details .ProductItem-details-checkout { display: flex; flex-flow: column; } .ProductItem-details .ProductItem-details-excerpt { order: 1 !important; } .ProductItem-details .product-variants { order: 2 !important; } .ProductItem .ProductItem-details .product-quantity-input { order: 3 !important; } .ProductItem-details .ProductItem-product-price { order: 4 !important; } .ProductItem-details .sqs-add-to-cart-button-wrapper { order: 5 !important; } .ProductItem .ProductItem-additional { order: 6 !important; } Example: https://rocksforlife.com/our-jewellery/double-pav-hoop-large-white-gold Thank you!
  8. Hello, Please help! Whenever I increase the quantity of the product, the price remains the same. Is that supposed to happen? Or is there a code I should write? This is for 7.1 on Mark Novo template on trial. Thank you!
  9. Howdy. I want to see if there's a way to change how this Quantity selection works, from a number input field to a quantity dropdown selection. Ideally it would: 1. Allow the user to select a preset quantity of 1 to 5 units 2. Allow the user to select an "Other" or "More!" option at the bottom of that 1 to 5 selection, which would prompt the field to revert back to the original input field Any help would be appreciated, even if only part of it can be accomplished with css, javascript, or some combination thereof.
  10. Hello Everyone! Is there a way to change the Arrow Input, in my Products Pages, to Plus/Minus buttons? The Arrows are not showing on Tablet and Mobiles, so I hope that using Plus&Minus would solve the problem, and I think I'd like the final look better anyway. So, basically, changing this to something like this Thanks!
  11. Site URL: https://lychee-lanternfish-y5ft.squarespace.com/ I removed the "quantity select" feature from my products site-wide, but I need to add it back for just one product. Does anyone know if thats possible?
  12. Hi, I know I can add a custom embed block and it works but I'm not happy of the placement. I want the embed block to show up beside the product photo and not under the product photo and description.
  13. Hi there, I hoping someone out there can help me to customise a quantity button. The style of the qty button on my shop/product page is ideal (nice light grey lozenge) and all I'm trying to is code the other qty button on the main site pages to look the same. (pics of both attached?). Any help would be amazing!
  14. Hi, I'm having issues with the JS of the below custom quantity selector component not working on one of my site pages. The code works fine on Code Pen but as soon as I put into the relevant page using the Code module, the buttons don't have any affect on the QTY number. Looks like the JS is not speaking to the component. Any help would be great! I put all of the code below in the code module on the specific page I want it to appear on (not the index file). I've put the CSS in <style> tags and JS in <script> tags but no joy. Code below: <form> <fieldset> <input type="button" value="-" class="decrease" /> <input type="text" id="three-max" value="0" disabled /> <input type="button" value="+" class="increase" /> </fieldset> </form> * { margin: 0; padding: 0; text-align: center; } body { background-color: #F4F3F3; font: normal 14px/100% Consolas, "Andale Mono WT", "Andale Mono", "Lucida Console", "Lucida Sans Typewriter", "DejaVu Sans Mono", "Bitstream Vera Sans Mono", "Liberation Mono", "Nimbus Mono L", Monaco, "Courier New", Courier, monospace; color: #444; } form { background-color: #fff; width: 300px; padding: 10px; margin: 20px auto; -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(170, 169, 169, .3); box-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(170, 169, 169, .3); -webkit-border-radius: 3px; -moz-border-radius: 3px; border-radius: 3px; } legend { padding-bottom: 14px; text-align: left; } fieldset { margin-bottom: 14px; padding-bottom: 14px; } fieldset, input[type="button"] { border: 0; } input[type="button"] { background-color: #ED5A48; color: #fff; cursor: pointer; width: 24px; height: 24px; } input[type="text"] { border: 1px solid #F4F3F3; height: 22px; width: 50px; } $(function () { set_($('#three-max'), 2); //return 3 maximum digites function set_(_this, max) { var block = _this.parent(); block.find(".increase").click(function () { var currentVal = parseInt(_this.val()); if (currentVal != NaN && (currentVal + 1) <= max) { _this.val(currentVal + 1); } }); block.find(".decrease").click(function () { var currentVal = parseInt(_this.val()); if (currentVal != NaN && currentVal != 0) { _this.val(currentVal - 1); } }); } });
  15. Site URL: https://www.freestonsdirect.co.uk/ Hi, looking to adapt some of our products to sell them by weight, i.e. 500g of carrots. I can only find quantity as the selling option, and this has to be a whole number. I could adapt this to sell in Kilos or Pounds, but typically this requires fractions, i.e. 1.5Kg or 2.5Lb. I haven't found a way to enable fractions, currently the quantity product box only accepts whole numbers. I could use grams but that's not very customer friendly, 2000g of potatoes is more commonly known as 2Kg and would cause some serious issues for the customer trying to shop like this. Wondering if I can inject some header code to the product template, but it's not for every product, we'd still want to sell some in quantity. Help! Thanks in advance.
  16. Hi! Does anyone know how I can shift my Add to cart button beside the Quantity input for both mobile and desktop? And the add to cart button should span until the end of the text block (desktop) and end of screen (mobile)!
  17. Hello. I've been trying to format my blog product page to have the same format as this one https://www.crueltyfreekitty.com/product/sweet-peach-eyeshadow-palette/ I want to be able to hide the price, hide the quantity, hide the add to cart button, as well as the shopping cart. Also be able to have links like those buttons to different sites please.
  18. Site URL: https://www.eatdishy.co.uk/recipes-main/roastedcauliflowerbiryani Hello, On my site the quantity box, as well as the variant drop down are very large. Is there a way they can be made smaller? Around half the size would be good? https://www.eatdishy.co.uk/recipes-main/roastedcauliflowerbiryani See example above. Any help or guidance would be great. Thanks in advance!
  19. When viewing product details, it DOES NOT show available quantity and the SKU info. Not in thumbnail mode (qty) or detail view (qty and sku) When I worked on a previous SquareSpace page (7.0) it showed such information. But on this current page and style (7.1) I get nothing. There is an SKU and qty typed in, but it'll be very handy to actually show this to customers and ourselves so we know what they are talking about if the customer asks. Is this a 7.1 thing or am I missing something? In 7.0, at least the qty option was in Site Styles (odd place - it should be global products). It's a standard business plan. I don't recall what the other old one was, but I think it too was business. I did add a 3rd party mode to both of these, which add a function to the products page. This was also done for the previous site without issues. Confused.
  20. Site URL: https://www.rescapesshop.uk/ We sell artificial grass and i want to add a calculator on there in which the customer types in square meter of grass they need and it tells them how many rolls they need to buy. I have a formula.
  21. Hello, new to Squarespace, I have a question/problem regarding stock: I want to sell cookies, but I'll bake them twice a week in 200 batches. I want to be able to sell them in different boxes/quantities, for example a x4 box, a x8 box and a x16 box. But the idea is that if someone buys a x16 box it should draw from the 200 total, so there would be 184 left, then someone buys x4 then 180 left, and so on. Currently, I have set things up as 3 different products (could be variants but as far as I explored it's the same) but there is no way to sync them to a common product stock and this will lead to oversells or even worse, make it look like there is no stock of x4 boxes when in reality there is plenty, just listed as x16… Hope I explained this well since English isn't my native language, right now this is a huge issue that I didn't see coming, hope there is a way to do this since it looks like a rather basic and easy thing any ecommerce service should have. Thank you.
  22. Site URL: https://www.swingsandwings.com/summer-camps-2021 We offer summer camps for kids as service items from our Commerce platform. Each camp sign-up requires parents to complete an intake form (kids name, age, parent's contact info, etc). We do not want parents to add multiple summer camps simply by changing the quantity from 1 to 2 in the cart nor checkout; if they want to enroll multiple kids into the same camp, they have to add the camp to the cart multiple times, each time filling out the intake form. We offer a promo for multiple camps booked on the same order, so the Express Checkout option does not work for us. To enforce the above, we have disabled the option 'Let Customers Buy Multiple Service Products'. However, we are then unable to show the number of available slots for each camp. We've tried enabling the 'Limited Availability' label, but apparently Squarespace suppresses this if you disable the option to 'Let Customers Buy Multiple Service Products'. If I enable 'Let Customers Buy Multiple Service Products', the number of available slots does show up as desired, but customers are then able to manually increase the quantity of a particular camp on the checkout page (I can suppress it using code injection on the product page and in the cart, but not at checkout). We would like to remove the Quantity option but also show the number of available slots for each camp. Squarespace customer support says this is currently not possible and can submit a feature enhancement request, but who knows when that might happen. Given the current circumstances with the pandemic/restrictions/etc, our survival beyond this summer depends greatly on our ability to sell these summer camp service items through our website and we want to leverage any tools we have in order to do so, such as showing that slots are limited and to book quickly. Any assistance will be appreciated!!
  23. I would like to use the product pages on my site to display my products, but because I am not actually selling online, I need to hide the following elements: Add to Cart button Quantity area Price
  24. Hello everyone, I'm struggling with the customization of event tickets (service products) in squarespace. I would like to allow a user to purchase multiple quantities/tickets in a single transaction but require data (i.e. name, email, etc) for each individual ticket. For example, if someone purchases 4 tickets, they will need to input 4 different names, 4 different emails, etc. Does anyone know how this can be done? Currently, I have a custom form attached to certain products but regardless of quantity, it only asks for that information once. Thank you,
