Hellloo everyone! I'm an old website designer with a modicum of experience on html and almost every wysiwyg you've ever heard of. This is my first time on squarespace though. If you check out the link to the staff page above, you'll see what I want. A circle photo with name, title, linkedin and email. I want to link them to the full bios (to be edited) to the full profiles below using Anchor links. That's the reason I've used a blank section instead of a "people" template, which don't seem to allow links. My problem is the responsiveness. Mobile fine, desktop fine, in-between (shrunk window) gets jumbly. Can this be avoided / is there a better way than what I've done here? Many thanks in advance folks! Ben

Site URL: https://theindieauthorcollective.com/blog/blog-post-title-one-x7pad Hi all! I'm creating a new site with a blog that will have frequent guest posts, so I'm turning on the Author Profile option for the first time and am having trouble styling it with CSS—it's pretty basic and ugly by default. I've tried targeting it in Design→ Custom CSS with the .blog-item-author-profile-wrapper tag I found by Inspecting, but no CSS I apply after it makes any changes. I'd like to put a border around it and change the background color so it looks like a custom block rather than just blending in with the rest of the post text. I also want to make the text left-aligned and I would love to move the profile photo to the left of the text, but the latter might be asking too much. I had thought about faking the author bios with a summary block, but I need to be able to add links to guest posters' social media accounts and websites and haven't found a way to do that in summary blocks. Access code is "forumhelp" for the website link. Thanks for taking a look!

Is it possible to create member profile pages with Squarespace/ via a plugin? About: We are a non-profit network of schools, helping schools become more sustainable. Our previous website platform enabled us to host 'profile pages' / 'brag pages' for each member school. We are hoping to integrate this feature into our new Squarespace website somehow. Ideally, there would be a list of our member schools, and when you click on their school name, it would open up to their 'brag page'. (Example here) Squarespace maxes out at 1000 pages, and we have well over 1000 members... so this is also an issue. Does anyone have suggestions/ know of good plugins that could meet out needs?

Site URL: https://www.hersfinancial.com/blog/welcome-to-hers-financial I made changes to my profile it in the Profile settings and it will not update on the blog post. I've cleared cookies, tested on Chrome, Safari and my phone and no go. Is there a delay in how long this takes to update or is there another place where I also need to update it. I've searched the FAQs and couldn't find anything related. Thanks in advance!

We are considering adding a member area to our site, mostly for networking and sharing purposes. From looking at the help pages I know that sqaurespace does not have an integrated forum feature, which we would ideally have as part of this. I am already doubtful that squarespace can do the other part of what we want, but thought I would ask here in case any one is aware of a solution! Is there a way: to automatically create a members profile page that can be viewed by other members - literally a picture, a couple of sentences of blurb, a couple of tags for search purposes and contact details. for members to share updates - e.g. a blog page attached to a member profile where they can share things updates about projects they are working on and ask for feedback/help/collaboration etc.? add a shared members calendar so members can pencil in potential dates for events/activities so they can see what each other are planning and either collaborate on events, or choose alternative dates if someone else is already planning something at the same time? Any assistance on this would be much appreciated.

Site URL: https://www.joyofadvent.com/about Hi all! First, you're all geniuses and have helped me SO many times, so I'm super optimistic that there IS a way to do what I want to do... 1. I have a blog with multiple authors, and display the author profile (applied in settings/basic authors) in the individual blog posts. Awesome. 2. I *WANT* a global list of all Contributors with bios/thumbnails on my About page (linked here). Right now I'm adding each one manually. This is redundant, since I've already added them under settings/permissions. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a way for the author profiles I've already added to be displayed in a block or section or ???? on the About page. 3. I have *tried* adding authors to a separate blog and using content blocks, styled with CSS. It's only meh and still requires redundant data entry. Ideas on how to accomplish #2 -- is it possible? How? Brilliant minds, please help!

Site URL: http://openarttherapy.co.uk Hello I am trying to post the info about my practice on some Facebook groups. Unfortunately link to my website appears as a blank text - it doesn't generate a page preview like most websites do (see below). Same goes for WhatsApp etc. Any ideas how to make sure the little preview is generated each time the link is posted on my/other people's socials? I have a basic plan on Squarespace, just fiy. Thanks so much for your help!
