  1. I'm having some issues with my images not filling the image block space in full. They are set up on 'poster' layout mode which doesn't have a 'stretch' option, so the sizes are all over the place - especially in tablet/mobile format. I have used some CSS to make the images have a colour/text overlay upon hover. Was all working fine for weeks however, this issue has just arisen today. SquareSpace help couldn't figure it out so have sent to technical department for investigation, but no idea how long that would take and no guarantee of a fix. I need to launch website ASAP. Any help/advice would be massively appreciated! Thanks.
  2. Site URL: https://www.4relh.com/ Hi There As you'll see from my example, the Poster image blocks we're using have changed to white text on a white block for some reason, rendering them illegible (this has happened on multiple 7.1 sites we're working on) Can anyone give me a fix for this, I cant seem to make it work. Also, we've tried going into design and changing the color of the text, this was unsuccessful as the text color is already set to black. Thanks Robbie
  3. Site URL: https://www.rosedemaris.com/ Template: Flores On my site's homepage, there's an Image Block: Poster that I like. I like the way the text overlays the image. However, I am hoping to change the current image of an orange blossom to a new photograph; when I upload the new photograph I'd like to use, the text "Rose DeMaris" is covering an important part of the photo. How can I move the text down to the bottommost part of the image so it isn't blocking it so much? I'd really like to keep the text ON the image, just lower it. I don't want to put text below the image or have it be a caption.
  4. I have added a poster and put some text with a lightbox button but the text is only aligned to the left and same with the button... how do i center these things like the button beneath it??? and how do i get rid of the grey outline behind the image?
  5. Hello, New user to squarespace with little knowledge of custom css. I've happily finished designing my site and naively thought it would easily translate to mobile. I'm getting text overlap (I've used the poster image feature to create solid blocks of colour with text on top) and other text coming up in the wrong places. Is there anything I can do to keep the desktop design as I am very happy with it? If anyone can advise much appreciated. I am using sonora template.
  6. Hi there, I have added some code to get the hover effect (overlay + Poster: Title/Subtitle ) on images (see screenshot attached). /* Hover Effect Images */ .sqs-block-image:hover { brightness: 100%; transition: .6s; cursor: pointer;} .sqs-block-image:hover img { filter: brightness(0.7); transition: .3s;} .sqs-block-image:not(:hover) .image-card-wrapper { display:none;} Unfortunately it started behaving weirdly - the hover just works on all images now, rather than on only https://www.aeliaandthecamera.com/branding and text is not displayed while hovering over. Any advices how to make it work properly are highly appreciated 🙂 Many thanks 🙂 A.
  7. How do I make the poster text bigger on the mobile version of my homepage? The template is Nueva. Screenshots attached for reference. There is a second section below this one where I'd like to achieve the same look. Site: https://grouse-apricot-2ba7.squarespace.com/ Thank you in advance!
