  1. Site URL: https://www.danieldv.com/listings Would anyone be able to let me know how to create an image like this? It seems to be a Poster block image, though it has an extra text field on the right bottom corner. I can see that the top left corner is probably just a custom paragraph style, but I can't see how you would add in the extra text field. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
  2. Site URL: https://www.productionguildireland.com Hi there, I designed my site a few months ago and the main elements of the site are several pages of poster blocks displaying the members of our organisation. The issue arises when I need to add an additional poster block to these pages as new members join up. Once I generate the poster block, I will try to move it into place. When I start to move the block, black lines usually appear on the page, they seem to act as both a guide and a barrier to where you can put the poster block. However, I have no idea how to change these lines so I can control where my blocks go. They also don't seem to have any rhyme or reason as to where they allow you to place your poster block and are different on every page. As you can probably guess, I'm not a savvy trained website designer. I have tried to find videos or help on the forum and various other Squarespace help options but Im either using the wrong search terms or the help does not exist yet. I don't imagine Im the only person with this issue so I'm hoping the Squarespace community can help.
  3. Site URL: https://www.dylans.studio/new-page Hi Tuanphan! I'd love your help with a CSS problem. Is there a way you can change an image (poster block) to another image/video on hover? Thank you!
  4. I am working on a site for a client and just about everything resized appropriately for mobile, except for this poster block on the home page. I've found a few similar issues on this forum but nothing that fits this description exactly. I have tried the CSS codes in those forums and they did not work for me. So I wanted to see if anyone had a CSS code that might work for this issue? Both the title and the button are not on the image on mobile, and the text does not fit the image. Any suggestions for getting this to look on mobile as it does on desktop would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
  5. Site URL: https://www.spicergroup.com/services On this site, we have used a poster style image block. Someone is asking for the image overlay color of dark blue to not fill the whole image. Essentially, bring the blue overlay down on top, and up on the bottom. So you would see the full color image with a strip of blue going through the middle. Is there code that would help us accomplish this? We have utilized custom CSS for the hover effect - that will stay. The text is in the form of a button with a completely transparent background. We tried to achieve a similar look to what they asked for by changing the image overlay color to 0% opacity, then changed the button color to blue. But they were not happy with the look since the button adjusts to the amount of text (so they were all different sizes) and it does not extend the full width of the image. Thanks in advance!
  6. Site URL: http://switch.squarespace.com Need help with the following- vertical centering the text in all 3 boxes making it so it doesn't overflow the boxes when they're sized down (see image 2) Changing the font color in box 1 & 3 to black but keeping font white in center box (maybe a better way to say this: i basically want it to look like the first image at all times, but with black text over the 2 white boxes) thanks in advance for any help you guys can throw my way!! 🙏🙏
  7. Site URL: https://www.velvetandgold.co/test-index Hello everyone! I"ve been banging my head and going round in circles the whole day trying to find a code for this, so hopefully someone can help! I have two poster blocks on my page but would like to change the text alignment of the 2nd one so that it's aligned right to avoid overlapping with the image. It doesn't look like the title styles have specific id's assigned that I could target through code. If you look at my test page, you'll see it in the "Get Started" Section (the "Book A Call" option). I've attached the screenshot below. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
  8. Site URL: https://raccoon-bobcat-3njy.squarespace.com/ Hello Could someone help with this please? I've got a poster block with a call to action 'Buy Now' button at the top of my home page. I've managed to get the alignment and size of the button just how I want it on the desktop site. This is what it looks like on the desktop - I did this by changing the setting in the Design-Image Blocks area of the site as below - But on mobile, this looks terrible! See below. Is there a code to fix the button size & alignment for mobile & tablets so I can achieve the same look at the desktop site? Thanks so much!
  9. Hi, I would like to change the alignment on the poster image blocks on my home page to left align for title, subtitle, and button, and decrease the size of the fonts without affecting the other poster blocks on my site. Any advice?
  10. Site URL: https://www.4relh.com/ Hi There As you'll see from my example, the Poster image blocks we're using have changed to white text on a white block for some reason, rendering them illegible (this has happened on multiple 7.1 sites we're working on) Can anyone give me a fix for this, I cant seem to make it work. Also, we've tried going into design and changing the color of the text, this was unsuccessful as the text color is already set to black. Thanks Robbie
  11. I'm having trouble with the poster image block looking funky on mobile. We have the image cropped where we'd like it for desktop browsers, but when it scales down to mobile it's cutting behind the text (see attached screenshots). Is there code that can help remedy this?
  12. Hey, I want to know how I can customize my CSS for a hover effect on an image in poster mode. I'd like to add links to the text that appears when hovering. Example page: https://beyonce.com/album/
  13. Hi, Is there a way to move the image poster block text from the centre to the bottom section of the image?
