  1. Wondering how to align the text to the bottom center of an image block: poster using CSS? Can only find a way in the site style for left, right and center to the whole image. Appreciate any help!
  2. Site URL: https://www.jason-taylor.com I tried using a previous answer to this question but to be expected the CSS didn't work on my site. On my homepage I'm looking to center both the text and button on my poster block images. Can somebody help me with this? Also, when I'm on another page the header drop down doesn't work anymore. is that CSS related? Thank you, Jason
  3. Site URL: http://www.caitlinhutson.com I have already copied a CSS to change opacity of the overlay on my posters when hovering. The code I used is the following: .image-overlay {opacity: 0; transition: .3s ease;} .image-overlay:hover { opacity: 1} It gives the effect of turning the whole block from my image to an opaque green, with the text showing in both. However, when not-hovering, I added a background color to my Title Text to make it easier to read, and I would like that background to fade out as the opaque green fades in (since the text is very visible on the green without that extra coloring). I tried to use the same format as above but can't figure out what the item is called to make this change. I am looking to do it to all of my posters, so a code that applies to all would be awesome.
  4. Hi guys! I am trying to customize the fonts on my poster block. I will attach an image off how it is showing up (yellow bold font image), and attach an image of what I would like it to look like (script and serif font image). I see in the Site Styles you can change the Title Font and Subtitle Font, but I would like to do 3 different font types... is there a way to customize or add the css for this using H1, H2, H3, H4, etc.? I am slightly a newbie at coding. I have added in an additional font in the back end, but do not know how to add it to the poster. Thanks in advance!!
  5. Site URL: https://alisha-trahms.squarespace.com/introduction I am using the Foster template and am looking for code to adjust the position of text on posters top to bottom. I've found several places on the inter webs where people talk about left-right justification (which is already available in the style editor), and top-bottom justification for banners, but nothing much for top-bottom justification for posters. Does anyone know how to do this? Additionally, does anyone know how to add a frame on top of posters?
  6. Site URL: https://www.nurturingmindsinafrica.org/ Hello, I noticed today that the image poster style buttons we have throughout our site have doubled in size, creating a gray box the same size as the image below the image, and the whole thing is now a clickable link. This has thrown off multiple sections of the website and I'm wondering if something was changed within Squarespace, since no settings were changed on our end. Homepage: https://www.nurturingmindsinafrica.org/ Get Involved Page: https://www.nurturingmindsinafrica.org/involved Donate Page: https://www.nurturingmindsinafrica.org/donate --- Oddly enough, the issue hasn't effected the same type of image poster style buttons on the Our Impact page: https://www.nurturingmindsinafrica.org/impact Thanks for any help you can provide.
  7. Hi, I would like to change the alignment on the poster image blocks on my home page to left align for title, subtitle, and button, and decrease the size of the fonts without affecting the other poster blocks on my site. Any advice?
  8. Site URL: https://www.emilylaveback.com/contact Hi, I'm trying to re-position my text in the poster image. It's too far down at the moment. I've been trying different codes that have helped others with similar requests on the custom CSS, but none of them have worked. I'm not used to coding, so an explanation for beginners/dummies would be great!
