  1. Hi Guys, I have a form on one of my pages and when you submit there's a large gap between the post submit message and my footer, I'm on 7.1 and when trying to resize (reduce the gap), in edit it wont let me. Any suggestions?
  2. Hello, I am writing because of a problem with the post-submit window on my website. When you submit the form the only text that should be displayed is: "Dziękujemy, że dołączasz do EYC Camp. Odezwiemy się do Ciebie wkrótce." However as you can see in the screenshot the post-submit page is glitchy and displays texts like "wymagane" which stands for "required" in Polish and "Chcę otrzymywać informacje o nowościach" that should not be there. Please take a look at the screenshot. I would be grateful for your help on how to solve this issue. Thank you!
  3. Hi there! I'm using a form to collect RSVPs on my wedding website. However, the message I inputted into the "Post-Submit" form is showing up as white text on a white background. Any way to change that? Can I also take out the top header "RSVP for Colin and Lydia's Wedding"? Thank you
  4. I've tested the form on the non linked page I created and after clicking the submit button, the post-submit message pops up which I had created however I don't like how above that message it has the title and text people read above the form they will need to complete which essentially means they see it two different times, once before completing the form and then a second time with above the post-submit response message. How can I avoid this from appearing a second time?
  5. Hello Friends! Ive been looking around on the forum to try and understand why the Form Post-Submit button will not open my linked filed in a new tab. Its openings the file in the current tab taking the patron away from my main site. There is a toggle for the link to open in a new tab, however it will toggle off every time I leave the form post submit settings. I looked into some CSS, but from what I'm reading... SS sites aren't able to use the previously used CSS because of an update they did to Forms. Any help would be great! Thanks
  6. Can someone help me format the post-submit message within Squarespace? Below is a mock-up (After.png) of the centered heading and paragraph text with a CTA to link back to the site Thanks Matt
  7. hi all, is there code to make the post-submit Thank You message appear in a separate tab to the Redirect (which opens tab with a PDF brochure)? At the moment the message appears for a split second and then disappears as the PDF brochure tab opens. I would like to have more information in the message for the client to read as well as having the brochure in a separate tab. Thanks. Simon
  8. I need to add a form to my website which collects a users name and email, then accepts payment via credit card (to square if possible), then when the payment is complete make an api call to another server, passing the name and email. The call to the other server will include a secret, so it should be made from the backend of squarespace. I am long time full stack developer and have developed similar things on wix and woocommerce, but not sure how to start with squarespace. Can anyone direct me at some resources? Or, suggestions given the limitations of squarespace?
  9. Hello, First time here. I'm all self taught. This is stumpingme. I've spent way too much time trying to figure it out. Hopefully, someone on here has the answer. I just want to change the color of the font on desktop. Mobile is fine as the pop up on mobile is another color and not a light background. Shoot at this point I'd probably settle for changing the background color. I've changed the "text color" options in > Style under Promotional Pop Up settings. I also looked at Site Styles but didn't see anything clear that suggests the font would default to white there. Thanks for taking a look. Jonesy
  10. Hello everyone. I'm wondering if there is any way to pass information beetween some forms. Here is what I would like to do: Have a form with a registration where I ask for the email, and after the submition, redirect the user to my second form with the email that the user digited and with this information update the value in the email input in this second form. 1. Does SquareSpace have an option for this ? 2. Is it possible to override the redirect url of the first form to add some parameters in the submit button event? For example the first form redirect to : /second-form Is it possible to modify it to something like this with code injection: /second-form?email=email@example.com Note: I don't have any implementation about this yet. I'm just figuring out if is possible.
  11. Hello, I would like to ask if there is a way in squarespace to have a post created from a form submission. I mean having a form with different fields and upon completion and pressing the Send button the content of the fields to be grouped and added on an unpublished post that gets created when the Send button is pressed. Thank you for any suggestions
  12. Site URL: https://lolamack.com.au Although the Squarespace form allows integration with MailChimp, Sheets and Zapier, I'm hoping there's a way to configure a form submission to POST an HTTP request to an API with all the form fields included in the message. Does anyone know if this is possible? I know Zapier supports webhooks, so i could connect the form to Zapier and then get it to send the HTTP request, but Squarespace is the only app I use that doesn't support HTTP requests natively and so I don't want to pay for Zapier just for one integration. Maybe pushing my luck here, but ideally the solution would avoid any script. Any guidance appreciated!
  13. Hello, We have a form on a page requesting First Name, Last Name, and Email. Once the user fills out the form, there is a post-submit redirect to a thank you page hosted by Squarespace. We use Zapier to send the info to Mailchimp from the form, however, I'm curious if there's a way to use the First Name from the form on the Thank You page via a tag or some other command to personalize the Thank You page. novo.org/hearing-god-ebook novo.org/hearing-god-ebook-confirmation
  14. Hello! I have a webpage that contains an easter egg. On the webpage is a riddle in secret code that the user is trying to figure out. I have a form block used currently where they enter their email and the code to try to solve the riddle. is it possible to give them different post-submit text based on if they enter the correct secret code? (Ex. You are successful vs You are wrong, try again)
  15. Hi, I'm using the Bergen template in Squarespace 7.1. I'd like to customize the "event text" that occurs immediately after you have clicked send via the contact form. The text that appears is "Submitting..." I would like to customize this to be a text of my choosing? I believe this was addressed in a thread back in September of 2019 but has since been taken down. Thank you!
  16. I'm trying to create a 'download your free copy...' form for a PDF, with a 'Download' button that both stores the data in a Google spreadsheet (done) and downloads the document. I can add a simple download link in the post-submit HTML, but this is an extra click for the user and potentially confusing after they've already clicked 'Download'. So, I'd like the PDF to be automatically downloaded when the form is submitted. I've tried adding some Javascript, e.g. as per this thread, but nothing has worked. Is there some way to achieve this? Thanks!
  17. Hi. I just want to add a pop-up window for my site visitors to sign up for my newsletter. I do not know how or what to do when Squarespace is asking me to 'add html to display with the post-submit message'? Can anyone help? /Pia
  18. Hello! I am trying to recreate this on a post submit form in squarespace for this i would need to edit text size, add an image and a button is this possible? thanks in advance!
  19. Hello all! I am trying to create a pop-up that says: "Thank you for wanting to be a part of my journey and subscribing!" when "SUBSCRIBED" is clicked. The site's URL is www.toniorecio.com Currently, the message appears and collides with the text on top. Can somebody help? (Disclaimer: I am a total beginner on webpages...)
  20. Hi there, how do i outline my pdf file in the confirmation of purchase page where they can download it so it makes it stand out so it’s more clearer than the rest of the text. Thanks in advance.
  21. Hi, I am just putting together a pop up to promote a black friday code for a client. They simply want the code to appear once they have gathered the email from the client. I have put this together but when I add the post submit text it appears just awkwardly underneath the GDPR privacy disclaimer. (shown below) Is there a way for the post submit to simply have the desired text in the centre of the box? Like i've mocked up below. Help would be appreciated asap as the offer goes live tomorrow! Thanks in advance!
  22. Site URL: https://raeraeoflight.org/the-beat-goes-on Hello, I am a beginner and not very good with HTML. I'd like to add an image to my post-submit form but have no idea how to construct the HTML. I have an image ready. Can anyone walk me through the steps? Hopefully it's not too complex! thank you in advance.
  23. Greetings, I have lots of articles (more than 30) in Markdown (coming from another platform) I want to import into my Squarespace website. Is there a smart way (with less friction as possible) to import them? I don't want to manually copy/paste more so many articles. Thank you!
  24. Hello, trying to figure out some sort of css or to center my "thank you! we will be in touch" post-submit message in my form. Thank you!
  25. Site URL: https://www.mesemestudio.com/alma-tl-semi-matted Hello All! I managed to use snippets of css code to create a centre aligned Lightbox form for the 'CLICK FOR PURCHASE' button, although now struggling to remove the Form Title and description from the post-submit pop up. Could you please help with this? Refer to the image here. Also how can I reduce the width of the Lightbox form from the current one? Thanks a lot!
