  1. Site URL: https://terrier-dachshund-ja97.squarespace.com Site: https://terrier-dachshund-ja97.squarespace.com PW: 17th-Dog How can I move the tagline ("As featured in...") below the index typography (TOURS, WEDDINGS, RACING)? Thanks all.
  2. Hi there. I'm trying to find a bulletproof way to have the logo in the site header overlap into the banner section in SS 7.0. I'm not a coder by trade, so I rely on various tutorials I can find to solve design problems. I'm currently using this bit of code to move the logo into the correct place: .Header-inner div[data-nc-container="bottom-left"] { position: relative; top: -100px; } The logo is positioned Bottom Left, while the main nav is placed Upper Right in order to keep it in the whiteground bar. It works perfectly until I add in two social links I need next to the nav in
  3. Site URL: https://www.campuspa.com/ I'm using a few images at the top of pages as a backgrounds. The positioning of the image is awkward on mobile, so I want to shift the position of the background image. Here's the code I have right now: @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { #sections :nth-of-type(1) { background: red; } } So far as I understand, this is supposed to select just the section of the page at the top with the image and turn the background red (just for show, to see if it works). However, this changes the background of the entire homepage red inst
  4. Site URL: https://www.psychologyofthespirit.org/ Hello, I would like to see how I can get these form checkbox sections to line up next to each other. I would like the 'WELLNESS', 'PSYCHOLOGY' & 'SPIRITUALITY' to be side by side. Then below the 'OTHER' and the 'ADD YOUR OWN'. YOUE HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS!!
  5. Site URL: http://peterasmus.com/ Hi, I've added a promotional pop-up to the home page of this site, but on mobile not enough of the pop-up shows to be effective or to convey any information. I understand the SEO reasons for keeping it from covering the entire display, but would like to have it display a bit higher. Is there any way to customize the positioning? Thanks, Lisa
  6. Hi, Im trying to move a text box (that's also linked to a page) from a central position to a bottom left position over an image and assuming that CSS is the only way to do something so bespoke. Is anyone able to offer some guidance please? See image attached! All help gratefully received! Thank you
  7. Site URL: https://soybean-flute-42kz.squarespace.com/ Hi, I have a question regarding the burger and x icon placement on my mobile site. I can't control it in the way I would like to. Which would be to line it up with the top of the logo and the right edge of the content. I have no idea what the setting currently is, and I don't know the padding around the content either (I set it to 'medium' whatever that translates to) The code I currently use is making it roughly ok, but ideally I would like it to be EXACTLY ok. .mobile-nav-toggle-label .Icon--hamburger { margin: -
  8. Site URL: https://bernardandhawkes.com/the-library Hi, Just wondering how I would go about getting the pink squiggly line to always be positioned at the top of the section, like you can see in the bottom screenshot below. Top screenshot is what is currently happening on the site. Thanks!
  9. Site URL: http://www.hummingbirdbyvictoria.com How might I adjust by banners so as they fit when looking on a mobile device? They look fine on a laptop, but too big on mobile... I've attached a screenshot
  10. I followed a tutorial (https://schwartz-edmisten.com/blog/floating-banner-over-two-index-sections-in-squarespace) to float a banner between two sections on a page I am building. All appears fine, but because the section is positioned absolute, much of the content from the below section is falling behind this. I can add some substantial padding to push the content downwards, but the issue I'm having is that when I change the window size and the floating box is expanding for mobile, the padding I apply doesn't properly correlate and it ultimately still gets lost. Is there a way I ensure the c
  11. Site URL: https://www.joeblackham.com/new-page Hey all - sorry for another question but I've used the following in a code box and it is functioning - only problem is it is off-centre (this is a screenshot from my iMac and it a lot worse on laptop) and causing my Navigation pane to shrink! Images are attached - thanks for your help! <div id="generic_price_table"> <section> <div class="container"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-md-12"> <!--PRICE HEADING START-->
  12. Site URL: https://www.joeblackham.com/new-page I'm having difficulty with the position of some custom CSS I'm using for Pricing Tables. When I am in the edit mode, the tables all position next to each other (which is what I would like). However, when I click done and come out, they reposition underneath each other. My code blocks are positioned next to each other, so this makes me think it's something in the CSS making this happen! This is the code I'm using: @import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato:400,100,100italic,300,300italic,400italic,700italic,700,900i
  13. Site URL: https://www.magnusriise.no Hi, when I click on the menu bar on top of my page , let's say from "contact" to "about", the position of the whole page moves a few pixels, which is annoying. Is there a way to fix this? This also happens when I'm on my main site and click on a "project", it jumps a few pixels to the right, and back to it's place again. I'm really not sure how to describe it properly 😛
  14. Site URL: http://www.skye-films.com Hello everyone, I'm using the Trémont template. I have page links lined up on the left side of the website but I want to add page links to the right side as well (Image attached for reference: one side for "coming soon" as you see on the website and the image and the right side for films that are readily available to watch as per the squiggly lines I drew to give you an idea of where I want it) What would be a code I could inject into a specific index menu link to get it to go on the right side? -John
  15. Site URL: https://magnolia-shark-g9jd.squarespace.com/ Hi all, I'm looking to position the submit button in the screenshot on the right of the form field instead of below it. URL: https://magnolia-shark-g9jd.squarespace.com/ Site password is: fiossftw Template is Brine
  16. Hello, created site with Sonora template. Trying to control position of image overlaying a page's banner image. Currently the image appears to float random depending on what device / window side it is viewed.
