  1. How do you add a description to portfolio grid: overlay/simple. 7.1? For Example: Title: Alphii - Onboarding UX Description: This study focuses on building a successful in-app onboarding experience. If you go to Design Tab > Fonts > Settings > Advanced and scroll down you see in both Portfolio Grid: Simple and overlay the option to change the description font. However I can only change the title in the project settings and don't even see an option to input text for the description. Am I missing something? How do I add a description!?
  2. Site URL: https://www.woogspark.com/ Hello, I really want to implement my portfolio contents on summary block so I can showcase my work on the landing page. Obviously this isn't available on 7.1 version but I'm curious if there's a custom css or any possible method to pull this off. I'm not much of a coding guy so I'm desperately in a need of help :( Thanks in advance!
  3. I am trying to customise the font formatting of the portfolio grid titles in my portfolio page on Squarespace 7.1 I can see that these are h3, and that the class is .portfolio-title but I've tried both header code injection as well as Custom CSS to add in code to reduce the size/change font and it's not working. Can anyone guide me on what the correct code to use would be?
  4. Site URL: https://blueberry-moose-azns.squarespace.com Hello— Using ss7.1 for a portfolio site. I selected the Portfolio index, and would like to adjust the size of auto-navigation text at bottom of portfolio pages...(see image) Is it possible to customize this specific text instead of change overall header sizing? Any lead on where to look to adjust in setting and/or customization would be helpful! Thanks
  5. Site URL: https://sepia-butterfly-e3x7.squarespace.com/ I'm working through adjusting the mobile style settings for my new site but keep running into areas in 7.1 that don't seem to be adjustable without custom code. Does anyone know how I can adjust the size of the hover text in the portfolio when in mobile? Looks great on desktop but get's really large in mobile. Hoping for some CSS that can let me control that sizing. Desktop and Mobile screen captures attached. Thanks for your help! https://sepia-butterfly-e3x7.squarespace.com/ Password: 1234
  6. Hi, Is there a way to make the portfolio main grid Masonry? Standard options only allow fixed ratio's. since ther is no more option to connect galleries to summary blocks this would fix a lot. Thank you.
  7. Site URL: https://quiet-conqueror.squarespace.com/ Hi all, Looking for some assistance with 7.1. I am trying to get the title / excerpt on the portfolio grid to show on hover (much like this effect here - http://demo.squarestud.io/grid-gallery-9) Here is what I have tried - /*Hover State on images*/ .portfolio-grid-basic { .grid-image:hover { img { -webkit-filter: brightness(0.4); -moz-filter: brightness(0.4); filter: brightness(0.4); } .portfolio-title { opacity: 1 !important; } .portfolio-title strong { opacity: 1 !important; } } img { -webkit-filter: brightness(0.9); -moz-filter: brightness(0.9); filter: brightness(0.9); transition: all ease-in-out 600ms !important; } .portfolio-title { p { max-width: 90% !important; } white-space: initial !important; text-overflow: initial !important; transform: translateY(-0.5em); -webkit-transform: translateY(-0.5em); -moz-transform: translateY(-0.5em); -ms-transform: translateY(-0.5em); } .portfolio-title { pointer-events:none !important; display: block !important; color: #fff !important; font-weight: 600; font-size: 20px; line-height: 25px; text-align: center !important; padding: 0px; position: absolute; top: 50%; left: 50%; -webkit-transform: translate(-50%, -50%); -ms-transform: translate(-50%, -50%); -moz-transform: translate(-50%, -50%); transform: translate(-50%, -50%); width: 80%; opacity: 0; transition: all ease-in-out 600ms !important; } .portfolio-title strong { display: block; font-weight: 200; font-size: 15px; opacity: 1; transition: all ease-in-out 600ms !important; } .portfolio-title strong:before { display: block; text-align: center; } .portfolio-title p { padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; margin: 0px; opacity: 0 !important; transition: all ease-in-out 600ms !important; } @media (max-width : 870px) { .portfolio-title { opacity: 1 !important; font-size: 11px !important; } .portfolio-title strong { display: none !important; opacity: 0 !important; } .portfolio-title a { display: block !important; } } @media (max-width : 768px) { .portfolio-title { opacity: 1 !important; font-size: 11px !important; } .portfolio-title strong { display: none !important; opacity: 0 !important; } .portfolio-title a { display: block !important; } } } URL is https://quiet-conqueror.squarespace.com/ Password is squarespace. 8. Hello everyone, I am building a new site for our studio and I am stuck on the portfolio block. Since we have a range of different projects I want to separate the portfolio in some categories via buttons. what would be the best way to separate the pages? Can I use some kind of tag? ( ie. Interior, graphics ) The only way I have figure out up to now is to make on giant portfolio page and then several other portfolio pages (not linked) so when you choose a category you "jump" to a non linked page. Is there a more efficient way to categorise the projects? I think the portfolio block definitely needs a way to categorise items. Hope someone shares some knowledge 🙂 Regards, Panos V.
  9. I'd like to use css to change the show text before or after hover on portfolio index images in 7.1 so that text always shows and isn't affected by the hover. Do you have suggestions of how to do this? Thank you, Henry.
