  1. Site URL: https://matey.app Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to make my iPhone pictures smaller on mobile so they aren't full-width. I want them to appear smaller like the Apple website example attached. I don't want to change the padding of the underlying text, just the iPhone. Does anyone know how to do this? My site is on Squarespace 7.1. Thanks!
  2. When I create a blog post on my website it always gives me the option to add an image first and foremost before I create the blog. When it is complete, the blog should have an image that I can click on that takes me to the blog post. I can do this on desktop with no problems but I’m having issues with this on the mobile app. It doesn’t give me that option. So when I complete a post, it’s without a header image. Any help?
  3. How can I add a picture right under the title and before the body text of a blog post?
  4. Hi Everyone! I am currently using a the Maple template from the Brine Family and am looking to change all of my picture captions to uppercase lettering. I was using the Five template previously, and there was an easy way to change it under Site Styles, but there isn't a way in my new template. I'm hoping to find a code I can use to make all of my picture captions uppercase. Thank you in advance!!

  6. Site URL: http://www.fennecfilms.com Dear community I’m getting in touch to ask about how I can upload a picture of myself inside a circular frame, with a bio underneath/beside without uploading an actual image I created in say photoshop. This would be in the ‘The team’ section in the about us page. I’d also like to upload individual logos of the brands we’ve worked with in the past instead of the image I currently have on there. I would like these logos to become colourised when the mouse is hovered over them. I’d like to include this section in the about us page of my website www.fennecfilms.com Thank you
  7. Site URL: https://www.chefpokeroll.com/ Hi, How can I keep exactly same top picture as desk top appearance (100% width) on Mobile? What kind of CSS should I add?

  10. Site URL: https://www.atelier-fiji.ph/home Hi! I'm having a hard time figuring out how to increase the (a.f) image logo found at the bottom of all pages/ the footer. It looks fine on desktop and tablet, but for some reason once I have it on mobile, the logo shrinks itself. I'm also having a hard time isolating the id code for that specific image. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The password for the site is: fiji

  12. Site URL: https://elephant-helix-3bzx.squarespace.com/ I inserted a custom code feed over the header photo on the homepage of my site: https://elephant-helix-3bzx.squarespace.com Does anyone know how to change the width of the feed so it's longer horizontally and not in a box format (essentially hiding the entire photo). I inputted the same feed just below the picture and that's how I want it to look - just over the picture. VERY limited code and CSS knowledge here.
  13. Site URL: https://www.bendameronmusic.com/ How can I change the background picture on the mobile view? I created the website looking at the desktop version. Everything else looks fine. The desktop picture is expanded so when I look at it on my phone I don't get any part of the picture that I need. How can I change just this one element for the mobile site without changing the desktop? In the threads I've read, CSS Media Queries are mentioned, but I don't know what that is. Thanks!
  14. Site URL: https://www.feelmproduction.net Hello, I'm coming to you because I have a problem with an image on my site. The image on the page www.feelmproduction.net/accueil, the first one. The black and blue image doesn't want to automatically adapt to the size of the screen you're on. Let me explain: a friend of mine has a site where the size of his images is automatically adapted to the size of the screen you're on. But on my site, my image always keeps the same size, which is very ugly when you are on the mobile version for example. I'd like this first image to be automatically in full screen before I can scroll down. Like on his site. Video to explain. On the video, first what I'd like to have, level of automation of size. Second: what's going on on my site. I hope that some of you will find the answer to my question, thank you a lot. Enregistrement de l’écran 2020-03-26 à 11.54.14.mov

  16. Site URL: https://www.newvisionresearch.org Hi - I am trying to get a few banner pictures to resize as oppose to being cropped or zoom in the pages with banners. I am not a coder and my skills are fairly basic when it comes to css. Can anyone help me with this? If you go to the other pages under the about index you can see the same issue happening where some of the peoples faces get cut off. example attached. By the way - my image is 1500 pixels wide and about 500kb following the squarespace best practice for picture uploads

  18. Here's how to add an image behind text in a Text Block. You may wish to be aware of the contrast between the text and the image behind it so that it is readable. White text on dark image, or vice versa, for example. Consider making the background image out of focus, darkening or lightening the image, or adding a semi-transparent white or black layer to the background image. And finally, before you dig in, there's a good chance things won't work the way you want them to on your first try. Don't let my instructions be your only guide. Look around the internet for other solutions that may be better or add more clarity for you. Best of luck. And HAVE FUN! ------------------------------------------------- Go to PAGES At bottom, click Add Section Under Layouts choose Blank Page Click cog to right of the New Page item Go to bottom of pop-up and turn off Enable Page (This keeps the page out of public view) Add the picture you want to show up behind your Text Box (This becomes a "holder" page for that image - or images - you want to put behind the text in your Text Block) Save this page Right click on the image and select Copy Image Address Paste that image in the address bar in another tab in your browser and the image should show up. Keep that tab available Go back to your home page and find the Text Block under which you want the image to appear Click on the Text Block as if to edit it Choose Settings Under General, make sure to give a name to that section: Page Title, Nav Title and URL Slug Close the pop-up In the menu on the left, select Design>Custom CSS In Custom CSS, paste the following in the window: #thenameofthepageyoujustcreated { background-image: url("thehyperlinkyoujustcopiedintothenewtabinyourbrowser"); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center center; background-attachment: scroll; background-size: cover; } Click SAVE at the top of that section and you're done.
