  1. I need help for how to make connection for Square Up Payment processor with SquareSpace. I dont want Stripe or PayPal at all! Only Square Up.
  2. Is it possible that when a customer schedules an appointment for a certain date/time (public holiday/peak hour) that Acuity will recognise the date/time and charge a booking fee?
  3. Anyone know why a stripe account connected to your Commerce section (physical products in your store) works flawlessly, whereas when you hook a stripe account (even the same one) to the Scheduling section (bookings) it does not?? As in nothing is showing up on my stripe account. Thanks
  4. Hi, I recently saw that Stripe accepts Klarna payments so was wondering if Stripe is connected as the payment processor on my site would my customers be able to use Klarna through Stripe on the site?
  5. Hello Friends! I have added the recently updated PayPal Smart Buttons to my SquareSpace site and they are not showing unless I refresh my page every time. Any suggestions for this? I'm missing sales and sign ups! Thanks!
  6. I use Acuity Scheduling, linking to Square for accepting card payments. Over the last two weeks I am repeatedly having clients’ credit/debit cards being declined due to authorisation errors. Square tells me it’s a problem with Acuity’s implementation of strong customer authentication (SCA), Acuity tells me my clients need to refer back to their banks. I am losing business over this! Does anybody else have similar issues?
  7. Is there a code or a way to integrate Clio grow's intake form and payment form on a website? My client is a law firm and they would like the intake form integrated through Clio into their website as well as a payment form integrated from Clio. They would like to have this so there are as less steps as possible in getting to these forms. Thank you in advance
  8. I have a code that produces a pay later button on squarespace. My site is retreat based and so there are multiple payment options. The pay later button is designed to split the ONE price on the page into 4 payments. Thats one part of it. The other part is....I need to be able to have multiple pricing options using the pay later feature. This is so that I can create a pay later button for each product option on the same page (other wise I will have to create a different page for every product that offers this feature, which would be about 50 separate pages just for this feature to work for me) HERE IS the paypal code im using in a code block that produces the pay later button <!DOCTYPE html> <html lang="en"> <head> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1" /> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" /> <title>PayPal Standard Payments Integration | Client Demo</title> </head> <body> <div id="paypal-button-container"></div> <!-- Sample PayPal credentials (client-id) are included --> <script src="https://www.paypal.com/sdk/js?client-id=test&currency=USD&intent=capture" data-sdk-integration-source="integrationbuilder"></script> <script> const fundingSources = [ paypal.FUNDING.PAYLATER ] for (const fundingSource of fundingSources) { const paypalButtonsComponent = paypal.Buttons({ fundingSource: fundingSource, // optional styling for buttons // https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/standard/customize/buttons-style-guide/ style: { shape: 'rect', height: 40, }, // set up the transaction createOrder: (data, actions) => { // pass in any options from the v2 orders create call: // https://developer.paypal.com/api/orders/v2/#orders-create-request-body const createOrderPayload = { purchase_units: [ { amount: { value: '88.44', }, }, ], } return actions.order.create(createOrderPayload) }, // finalize the transaction onApprove: (data, actions) => { const captureOrderHandler = (details) => { const payerName = details.payer.name.given_name console.log('Transaction completed!') } return actions.order.capture().then(captureOrderHandler) }, // handle unrecoverable errors onError: (err) => { console.error( 'An error prevented the buyer from checking out with PayPal', ) }, }) if (paypalButtonsComponent.isEligible()) { paypalButtonsComponent .render('#paypal-button-container') .catch((err) => { console.error('PayPal Buttons failed to render') }) } else { console.log('The funding source is ineligible') } } </script> </body> </html> Paypal does have a feature with the options built in, its called the Buy now button. Im thinking a merger of the two codes could produce the results im looking for.
  9. A client purchased an item using stripe. When I click the transaction to view it in stripe it says "no such charge." I've used stripe without a problem before, but just recently switched to the new version of squarespace. Squarespace says that stripe is connected in my payments section. What could be going wrong?
  10. Well, I'm in Canada, but most of my customers are in the US. As of now, Afterpay is only available for the customers in the same country as me, meaning it's pretty much useless. How can I get around this? I might be able to use a relative's US address and set up a US bank account, but how many other changes would I have to make (Stripe, Paypal, Squarespace, change the currency on all my products)? Or is there another third-party payment processor that allows for installment payment plans that I can use with Squarespace? Has anyone tried using Affirm or Partial.ly via embedding a button on the SQS store page? And how would this affect accounting? TIA.
  11. Hi all, I am a small businessowner in Belgium, building websites for small businesses. And I love Squarespace. However, in Belgium, customers want to pay with Bancontact. And in The Netherlands (same language-region) they want to pay with IDeal. Both options are not possible in Squarespace and that really influences the popularity of Squarespace. We have to invent a lot of workarounds for shops and member areas. And I would LOVE LOVE to use the platform in its full power! I know it is possibe in Stripe to use Bancontact and IDeal. Anyone any ideas on this? Why is this option not available in Squarespace? Thanks for your thoughts and support on this. Heidi
  12. Hi! I'm trying to set up appointment booking on my site. I set everything up through Acuity and connected it with Square to accept payments. But when I go to make an appointment it says "Please wait, loading Square..." and then never loads? What do I need to do so that Square actually loads? It's been sitting here for 15 minutes and nothing is loading. Thank you so much!
  13. Stripe does not support my type of business. Can I add my own credit card processing company to my checkout? How may I do that if so?
  14. Been running since 2017. Now suddenly payments can't be processed.
  15. Wanting to use Squarespace from a different country would be easier if Squarespace allowed for various payment-processing portals. I love everything about Squarespace except for that one area. Please look into broadening your portals as there are multiple safe gateways available and not only PayPal and Stripe.
  16. how do i add the logo of these payments methods.and then write powered by stripe.
  17. Site URL: https://www.emilyridout.com/membership I'm trying to integrate a payment processor that accepts monthly membership payments with the Squarespace member areas. Is there a way to integrate something other than Stripe? I would love it if I could integrate PayPal to accept monthly payments
  18. Site URL: https://hennyguitars.com Hi there, I'm going to be launching my store in January. I sell custom guitars which will require a $500 deposit instead of paying full price right away. I'd like a way to let customers know the full price of my guitars but allow them to make the deposit. The deposit starts the build and the full price is due before delivery, most like 30-90 days later. Any tips on how I can make this happen. I'm open to other stores/services if squarespace won't work but I want to keep my site on squarespace. Any assistance is much appreciated. Thanks for reading.
  19. Hello, I am currently using Stripe but they are canceling my account. Other than paypal, is there another payment processor I can use? I'm told Intuit/Quickbooks will process but a shopping cart portal link must be estlished. Please help!!
  20. Hello, This question might've already been answered, however I will ask it again in plain English for those like myself who are starting in E-Commerce. I appreciate any help I can get. I work for a holding company with a few E-Commerce sites for its different companies. In order to promote efficiency and decrease confusion amongst various production managers, all sites have to be run through Magento. Unfortunately we are now indefinitely dependent on freelance Web Developers for the maintenance and modifications of the site. I would like to know if it's possible to use a SquaredSpace Front-end, which can be modified by any employee Whilst continuing to receive new orders through Magento's Back-end, to not disrupt the current system. In short I'd like to design and maintain my website through Squared Space, however continue to process orders through Magento's admin panel. Thank you.
  21. Hello dear Squarespace Team! Could you please add more currencies to the Acuity Scheduling and Squarespace website payment system? I have many customers in UAE who are interested in your services but they want to have AED currency enabled service. Please support more currencies in your payment system. * I already sent email to support team about 4 month ago for the same issue!
  22. Hello guys! Please do something to add iDeal to your payment methods. Stripe supports it, yet it is not yet available on your part. You have just integrated Dutch as a language to your sites, please add the payment system as well as we're waiting for this for YEARS now.
  23. Site URL: https://kalopsiacollective.com/ Hi there, I'm in the process of revamping a client's website. They are a textiles manufacturing business who currently have a Shopify site set up to process orders but their main site is on Squarespace. We want to transition everything to Squarespace but having some issues. Is there a way to create a shop page for custom orders and invoice the client instead of having an auto-payment option? If this was to be set up through a form, is there a third party platform you could recommend to auto-process invoices being sent out from an order form instead of a product page? I'm struggling to find a workaround without linking to the existing Shopify site and would love some support with it! Thanks!
  24. Hello, We have a large volume ecommerce store handling over 80k+ worth of transactions a month. We have since started accepting Afterpay via Stripe but are getting huge amounts of complaints it never loads. We noticed traffic coming via links on Facebook etc are mostly affected but in overall we are getting upto 12+ complaints a day and can see we have lost sales because of it. Is this affecting anyone else? I have reached out to support but can hardly even get a reply. I have also reached out to Stripe but again no response. This might be the last nail in the coffin for us!
  25. I currently building a website to sell my products online in Thailand for Thai market. I ran into an issue that none of the payment method in Commerce section works in Thailand. I saw web developer in Thailand created a payment method such that once a customer is ready for check-out and payment, a seller creates a QR code which is good for one time payment for that particular transaction which include seller information and total amount due of the purchase. A customer then open his/her internet banking app and scan the QR code for payment. After scanning, a confirmation from the internet banking app shows the seller information and the amount due for payment for the buyer to confirm. After a confirmation click, the bank transfers the money to the seller account - no transaction fees and a payment slip pops up to the buyer for reference. Seller also receives a copy of the payment slip on this cell phone via their mobile banking app. Would it be possible that Square space would add such a payment method on the Commerce section? without it, I need to turn to Thai web developers, which doesn't have variety of templates/design to offer. Is there any alternative form of payment that would work with Squarespace template commerce section that anyone in the forum could offer for my consideration? I would greatly appreciate that.
