Site URL: https://www.marcelkimble.com/ Hi, I used a css code to install a fixed header for my Wells template. Unfortunately the header overlaps my page when you use a mobile device to visit the page. My code: @media screen and (max-width:640px) { div#headerWrapper { position: fixed !important; top: 0 !important; left: 0 !important; right: 0 !important; background: white; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: contain; background-position: center center; width: 30px; height: 80px; display: inline-block;

Site URL: https://burgundy-crow-wpya.squarespace.com/ Hey everyone! This is driving me nuts. I am trying to overlap the image block over the index gallery. I've set all relevant sections to overflow:visible and checked all z-indexes but no dice. Screenshot is attached, sample code is below - what am I missing? Password to the demo site is plough #content.Index-gallery{ overflow: visible; } #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1594395362623_4899 { transform: translateY(-80%); position:relative; z-index:100; } #content.Index-page { overflow: visible;

Is it possible that the text does not fall under the image in the mobile view (Image Overlap)? The image below shows how it should be, but it is an image with text written in Photoshop 😀 Excuse my bad English. Best wishes from Switzerland Fabian

Hiya, I'm trying to do something really basic, but struggling a bit with the css. I'd like to overlap an element, specifically a .png image with a transparent image over the section below it. I found this useful: https://forum.squarespace.com/topic/158707-overlap-images-and-sections-with-71/ --> /* remove section bottom padding */ [data-section-id="5ddd4eb4522cc3312c5226a6"] .content-wrapper { padding-bottom: 0 !important; } /* remove overflow hidden */ div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1587085802684_25650 .image-block-wrapper { overflow: visible !important; } /* overlap i

Site URL: https://grey-cranberry-c4ar.squarespace.com/ A friend of mine just went to view my site to give it a once-over before I make my final changes and make it live. My friend noticed that while using a mobile device to view the site, my second layer of navigation has some text overlapping issues. (My primary navigation is fine, but when I click on one of the navigation options and see the secondary navigation (what would be the drop down menus on desktop) my text keeps overlapping.) I have tried viewing it on different devices, different OS and browsers. They all show the same issue. I

I am creating a site that aggregates social media posts via embed blocks. The issue I am coming up against is when you scale the desktop window smaller, they overlap and don't stay apart, scale smaller, or collapse to the next page down. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Hi ! I was wondering if there is a way to create overlapping section rather than background. Something similar to parallax effect but for entire section content not just its background. For example, I want as I scroll down section 2 to cover section 1 (both background and text) rather than only covering the background. Currently, I am using the parallax code from https://schwartz-edmisten.com/blog/how-to-add-parallax-to-squarespace-7-1 I really appreciate your help! @tuanphan

Hello, New user to squarespace with little knowledge of custom css. I've happily finished designing my site and naively thought it would easily translate to mobile. I'm getting text overlap (I've used the poster image feature to create solid blocks of colour with text on top) and other text coming up in the wrong places. Is there anything I can do to keep the desktop design as I am very happy with it? If anyone can advise much appreciated. I am using sonora template.

Site URL: http://avabock.art So in NC zip codes cross county lines. Sales tax rates change because the county taxes are different BUT the zip code is still the same. So right now I am having major headaches with my state as I will either be under charging or over charging people tax depending on which rate I use. Only one tax rate can be entered per zip code. NC is saying that stay with Squarespace is my choice but compliance is required. I don't want to switch but this is a huge issue. Anyone have advice?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to fix the footer to the bottom of the visible section of the page, for all pages. To clarify, I'm looking to have the footer behave just as the header does when you have it set to fixed position in the header style editor i.e. a fixed position on the page when scrolling. Hope this makes sense! Any help with this would be much appreciated. Many thanks John

Hello everyone ! I am almost done with my website, super thrilled about that. I still have a few issues regarding my section overlay : https://www.qualitycupofcoffee.com/english It concerns the 2nd Overlay "Consulting" for the consulting box. I created a "page" for my text box that I tried to overlay on the previous section. It works fine for the top of the box (white background) however the background colour of my page is hidden under the background colour of the next section (pink). I really want to have the full section in white. I am struggling to make the half bottom of the box com

Site URL: https://www.noduswatches.com/retrospect-feature Hi all! I'm trying to edit the mobile version of my website, URL above - as you can see, the image title overlaps with the image and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to tweak the padding between the image and text. Hi everyone! I've been trying to add a block of color behind an image block using CSS (screenshot attached). The closest I could find was in this thread, and this was helpful, but I need help on 2 other things: If you compare my screenshot example to the example in the thread, I need help being able to move the block of color's position, so that its overlap edges only show on 2 sides (left & bottom, like in the screenshot) instead of 3 sides (like in the thread). I tried tinkering with the CSS using negative values for padding or margins, but it didn't work. I also tried add

Site URL: https://www.legoutdelautre.com/formations-and-coaching/tag/Outils+collaboratifs Hello, I am using the Rally template and I need the tags from the blog to be displayed. I can’t find a way to adjust the padding on that page so the text ‘Posts tagged’ (see attached image) doesn’t overlap. Does anyone know if there is a way that the text ‘Posts tagged’ can be displayed above the thumbnail rather than on the top of it please? Thanks in advance

How to fix button overlap in responsive view?
ss_qstns posted a question in Coding and Customization
I have 6 buttons that are horizontal to each other on desktop view and eventually move to a horizontal view when moving to tablet or mobile. The issue I am having is the buttons are overlapping each other in some responsive views and it looks tacky. How can I make sure the buttons don't overlap when changing to a responsive view? In addition, the buttons are not evenly spaced.- 3 replies

Hi - In the navigation menu, when I click on the first drop down, the text at the bottom of the list crowds over the other drop down items. I have attached a pic for reference - is there anyway I can increase the length of the dropdown box for these items only (it's a long list!)
