  1. Site URL: https://thedetoureffect.com/blog/digital-nomad-gift-ideas Hi there, I found out that I can give an image link a nofollow attribute by pasting this onto the end of the affiliate link: "rel="sponsored This works when you click on the image itself. But if I write a caption and try to include a link there, it doesn't work. Example: I chose the "overlap" design for my images here because it looks cooler than other methods of advertising/linking to products. I wrote long captions to go with each image and included some links in the caption. If I paste "rel="sponsored onto the end of those links, clicking on the links will bring up an error. So I removed "rel="sponsored from all of them, but this is going to hurt my SEO ranking. Any ideas? Thank you!
  2. Hi everyone, I need to get some help. I am optimising a website for a client of mine and need to add nofollow or canonical tags to around 400 pages on the website. Unfortunately, I cannot use the normal features but need to code and add it on the backend. What would you suggest me to do? I want to go to the header section and add the following code repeated several times: <meta name="page" content="noindex"> Or there is a way I can do it? Seems like I cannot access the coding part for product pages. Please let me know your thoughts. Best regards, Frank Digital
  3. I browsed through some of the forums and I found this code which a moderator responded and said we need to include it in the code injection - footer section. Is that correct or it needs to be in the header section? I wanted to check if this applies to all pages with buttons to amazon links? Also, how do you add no-follow for pages like avantlink? anyone has a custom code that they can share. Here's what I included in my footer, but not sure if it applies for all pages? <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.0/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(document).ready(function() { $('[href*="amazon.com"]').attr('rel','nofollow'); }); </script>
  4. Site URL: https://www.nembol.com/ Hi everyone. I'm looking for a way to disallow Google from following the links in our footer. I cannot use the nofollow attribute as the links point to internal pages, and Google suggests to use the disallow command for robots.txt. Unfortunately, on Squarespace you can't edit the robots.txt file, am I correct? So, how can I disallow those links in the footer? Thank you very much.
