  1. Site URL: https://villa-rondinelli.squarespace.com/ Hi there, I'm building a multilingual website with Squarespace 7.1. It will be in 2 languages (Italian and English) and I was wondering if there's a way to have footer, cookies banner and 404 page text in the language the visitor is in. You enter the website through this cover page: https://villa-rondinelli.squarespace.com/cover that brings you to the home page: https://villa-rondinelli.squarespace.com/home/it Password: maggie-villa Regarding the footer, I'd like that when clicking on the links in the footer (P
  2. Site URL: https://www.living-rivers.eu/ Hello community, I implemented a multilingual site using advanced code (https://www.bradgood.net/articles/multi-language-content-on-any-squarespace-template) and need to know how to make the footer links work properly. When I select the Impressum or Datenschutz links, both EN and DE menu items appear in the top nav. Any help greatly appreciated!
  3. My company's website was made using version 7.0, now I'm trying to create a new one using 7.1, but honestly I find it even more frustrating than 7.0, so please if anyone could help me it would be really appreciated: How can I create an Intro Page on version 7.1? that was something very easy with 7.0, but not with 7.1. Since my website is bilingual it would be nice to have a landing page where the user can choose between English or French. Right now, the Header with menu is always appearing, which makes impossible to have a page like this: https://www.mannanova.com/ The second probl
  4. I have two different sites to handle two languages. ( currics.com and currics.se ) Is it possible for them to share common css somehow? I have tried having a common less file on another server and importing it via less, but it doesn't seem to work This at the top of my custom css: @import url(https://static.currics.com/css/generic.less); just gives me an error: Cannot read property 'href' of undefined. Not sure about if I will end up in Cross-origin problems later but the error comes before that, in the editor. Shouldn't this be possible?
  5. Site URL: https://dodecahedron-pentagon-rzy3.squarespace.com/config/ Hello Everyone, I am a neophyte in toolkits utilisation and I am working on a site where the person who owns the company wants the language options to appear horizontally along the header and in the top right corner to have a drop down navigation menu. Now my question is the following: I understand the concept of "mirror" sites. Not sure on the terminology here which is basically static translation. However the language choices and the drop down menu are both in the header which cannot be segmented, so how do I go
  6. Site URL: http://www.chicart.gr Hello, I am using the Crosby theme, and I created a 2 languages website. I followed instructions regarding the footer for multilingual sites, creating 2 footers and then hiding 1 of them according to the page. But in the shopping cart I've been left with 2 footers and would like to hide them completely. Is there a way to do this please? Password for the website is Chicartnia Many thanks, Vanessa

  8. Site URL: https://litadg.com -- Site password: lit Hi there, I have a site with English and Hebrew (with a language switcher that I built with custom code). Because Hebrew is right-to-left, I want to be able to show the menu options in the header right to left as well. But the issue is that when I do that - it automatically makes the mobile version show the pages in the reverse order in the menu (the most right option is shown last in the mobile menu etc...) I want to be able to show only the Hebrew pages as right to left in the desktop header, and top to bottom in th

  10. Site URL: https://www.greencondom.club/ Hey peeps, This is not a question per se, more like sharing a solution I found. I needed to make my website multilingual and multi-currency a while back. I really struggled to find solutions meeting my requirements, so I came up with a solution: Use Weglot for the translation (no page duplicate, can translate the checkout) Duplicate the shop section of my Squarespace site for the 2nd currency (and pay Commerce again) Set up Geotargetly to redirect people according to their location Use Datafeedwatch to list our product

I followed this link instructions on how to create a multilingual site: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205809778 but I don't know how to duplicate the 'store' page, so that I get the same products on both languages, plus I can't find any info on how to translate a product. 13. Hello, I'm trying to create a multilingual website with 3 languages at the moment. I found some code online in order to do it. Basically I duplicated pages for each languages and created 3 folders as a language switcher. It works like a dropdown menu. On the browser it works fine. But on mobile I can't switch languages. This is the website I used the code from. https://beaverhero.com/squarespace-03-languages/ I am also using a business acco
  14. Update: I posted a new tutorial on hiding links in navbar here, in case you are interested I see that a lot of people have the same kind of problem and the root of it is that there isn't any effective way to have a bilingual SS6 site. So if you want to make a bilingual site what are your options? the Google Translator, which is no option for me this method by SS, no an option either After a lot of research and brainstorming I came up with the conclusion that you can: Create a blog/page in your primary language of choice (X- for me that's GREEK VERSION) Duplicate each page/blog(for blogs

Site URL: https://www.creativeblackwomansplaybook.com/ As designers, we always love the opportunity to engage in a collaborative project with people who value great design, so we were thrilled when Weglot approached us with the idea to collaborate on a multilingual website to showcase the work of a talented artist while demonstrating the translation capabilities using Weglot and Squarespace. After considering some colleagues to be the focus of the project, we thought Co–Conspirator Press was perfect. Co–Co press is a publication platform that operates out of Los Angeles based Women'
