  1. I am code-injecting JavaScript/jQuery to build a smooth-scrolling, hash navigation for a fixed-top menu bar in Squarespace 7.1 (so no template). The scrolling works great on desktop; on mobile it works too, with one exception. The navigation tray stays visible on the screen after clicking a link. So the page scrolls behind the open menu and it must be closed to return to the site. This is confusing. The plan: close the nave menu with the smooth-scrolling script. Here are the steps used to make it disappear (including code for specificity). Remove the "header menu open" class from t
  2. Hi there, I've used the code below to set up a transparent mobile header for my site which uses the Brine template. The mobile nav header now sits nicely over each index page banner image: @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { .Mobile-bar--top { background: hsla(0,0,0,0) !important; position: relative; z-index: 1 !important; } .Index-page--has-image:first-of-type { margin-top: -100px !important; position: relative; z-index: 0 !important; } .sqs-block-content:first-of-type { margin-top: 50px !important; position: relative; z-index: 0 !important;
  3. I have already been able to remove the nav bar from the desktop site using <style> #header { display: none } </style> Now I just cannot find anywhere on the internet how to hide the mobile nav bar on a single page. Thanks! - portraitflow.com
  4. Site URL: https://duck-buffalo-k3d3.squarespace.com Hello! I would like to display my folder (menu) on mobile rather than the hamburger button. I disabled the hamburger button with: .header-burger {display: none!important} But cannot figure out how to show the folder - which is visible on desktop Hope you can help!
  5. Site URL: https://roguesage.com Hello All I left Brine and went with 7.1 (without knowing that I did that - lol) and while I've been able to get most the customizations dialed in, two allude me. On mobile, the hamburger nav blends in with my site name versus stands out. How can I bold that hamburger symbol for when its in mobile? On Brine, the always epic @tuanphan posted some code that more cleanly separated that "next blog" nav at the bottom of each post. Unfortunately, it does not work on this on 7.1. There are a lot of issues here. #1) the font size is huge (talking sole
  6. Hello, I have forced mobile navigation on desktop as well as utilized a custom image for the hamburger icon. After you click on the hamburger it animates and creates a box around it. I need help removing the box around the icon as well as removing the animation on it. Here is the css I am using: /* 768 for tablet - desktop - 992 for desktop */ @media screen and (min-width:768px) { /* hide navigation */ .header-nav { display: none; } /* Hide header button */ .header-actions { display: none; } /* show burger */ .header-burger { display: flex;
  7. Site URL: https://flower-rose-6xhs.squarespace.com/ Hi, I'm re-designing our website in the new 7.1 version of Squarespace. I just realized that the main navigation doesn't fully transfer on mobile. Super disappointing as I need our CTA button to show in mobile as most traffic comes from there. Is there any way to force that using css? Please help!!!!! We are still in trial mode so please see screenshots to know what I'm talking about. Thank you so so much!!!!
  8. Does anyone know how to center mobile nav links in Brine? Thanks.
  9. Site URL: http://www.kleindinst.at Hello! This is my website. When I look at the responsive mode of an iPad in landscape mode the menu (Work, About, Contact) has two rows, but there would be enough space for these three words in one row. It is not possible to change anything in the template settings (Template: Flores) and I also added some code to the website but if I take it out the menu behaves the same way - so it's not the custom code I added that makes the issue. Can you suggest any solution for this? 1. To enlarge the width of this space in general that everything is i
  10. Site URL: https://green-horse-x2tl.squarespace.com Hi All, I'm hoping someone could help. I'm trying to get my mobile nav bar to appear with the burger bar when on desktop and tablet, , which I know how to do by changing the mobile break point. However I'm finding everything is too small including the logo and nav bar height for desktop. Is there any way you can change this via code? Just so that it's bigger for use on desktop, but still remains the same for mobile and tablet? Any help would be amazing. I'm still finding my way with Squarespace but loving it, s
