  1. Since August, we have been getting a random unsaved form block email. I tried to fix it by deleting the form block all together and deleting the authorized app in Mailchimp as the Squarespace help page indicates. I then re-connected everything. Mailchimp has registered new form submissions in the last week as it states on our audience page, but today I got another form submission error. So it seems to be happening on and off. Can anyone give me ideas on what to do and what might be the issue? I mean, at least I get the email of the unsaved submissions and I can manually enter them but...that's not a long-term solution! TIA
  2. Hi there, I use a Squarespace email form + MailChimp to capture key data about those who sign-up to my mailing list. To take a step back, my website is an architecture publication and on the form there is a dropdown that has 'What best describes you?' with several options including; architect, builder, student, architecture lover, etc. This data helps me when I communicate with architects and potential advertisers as it tells me who my audience is. My email list is small so I've been manually tagging each contact, but I am hoping the list will grow so large that it no longer becomes viable to tag each one myself, so I'm wondering if it's possible to automate this process through MailChimp. Has anyone done something similar? Below is kind of the flow I hope for; Land on page > fill out form with email, first and last name > select 'architect' from dropdown menu > signs up to mailing list > 'architect' tag automatically applied Is this possible? For reference, my website is www.thedesignemotive.com, and the main forms are like the one underneath the video here; https://thedesignemotive.com/architecture-design/an-architects-home/jerry-wolveridge-wolveridge-architects
  3. Recently, I've received automated emails from Squarespace that emails submitted on the newsletter block on my website are being blocked. It's weird because some emails are successfully added, but others are not. I reached out to Squarespace support and they told me this was due to Mailchimp rejecting those emails as spam. Mailchimp support told me that this was an issue with Squarespace. Any ideas on how to fix this? Website Info: www.honoremill.org Basil Template Thanks, John
  4. I want to use Squarespace Email Marketing instead of MailChimp. I have used MailChimp for years. I also use their iPad app "MailChimp Subscribe". Currently, I use that app to gather names and emails at events. Then I take that list and download for Squarespace lists. Does anyone know of another app for the iPad that will do this and integrate into Squarespace Marketing?
  5. Originally I set up my newsletter sign up boxes to have double opt-in for Squarespace and Mailchimp, but then I realised the confirmation email was coming from Squarespace and not from Mailchimp, and really Squarespace is just a backup for me. So I turned off the Squarespace connection and left the Mailchimp connection and then the Mailchimp connection no longer worked. The double opt-in box is ticked in Squarespace (for Mailchimp) and the double opt-in setting is turned on in Mailchimp. I have tried resetting the Squarespace connection. I have authenticated the domain, and it's still not working? Had any one else had this issue?
  6. When I enter an address in my submission form on my home page it sends an email and goes through the whole process of double opting in, but it doesn't update the subscriber to my mail chimp account. Any ideas why that is?
  7. I've set up my Mailchimp e-mail campaign, but the RSS feed formatting doesn't display the latest post. It merely displays the blog title, but no other content. HELP! I've tried everything.
  8. I'm having the same problem as this person, where side-by-side code blocks overlap https://answers.squarespace.com/questions/229853/code-block-image-overlapping.html So instead of keeping the mailchimp emails side by side, I'd like to stack them — but in order to do that without the page being way too ridiculously long, I'd like to cut each block off at a certain height, wherein a visitor can scroll within the block to read the full email, or scroll outside it to go lower down on the page. This must be possible...somehow...right? Side note, this is a really annoying issue! Why are code blocks not dynamic!?
  9. Hi I have an mailchimp slide-in box on my website (upon exit). Is there is a way to edit this without starting over? Best regards,Jonas Syders Knudsen Website: www.jsk-vibrations.com
  10. Hello. Is it possible to have a pop-up (or know of a service) that has dynamic content? For example, people who see paintings will see a pop-up that says "Sign up to learn more about art openings" where users who go to the shop will see "sign up for discounts" Thank you in advance.
  11. When i get new subscribers my mailing list doesn't seem to update, for example lets say I got 10 new subscribers today, that number would be reflected in my G. Drive Excel sheet. However when I check my mailing list on The Space It might only have added 2 out of the 10 contacts. Is this common and will i have to import them all the time? Doesn't really help with automaton if i have to check my excel everyday
  12. So I've made it a mission to really dig into MailChimp and maximize the platform to its fullest potential. There's only one catch, I can't figure out how to assign subscribers to various list segments I have configured in MailChimp. Has anyone successfully accomplished this using the Squarespace form block or newsletter block? On the surface it doesn't appear to be a solution or workflow, but hopefully someone has figured out a way, and wouldn't mind sharing. :)
