  1. I'm trying to get several horizontal lines on my site to be full width, not all of them. I am using #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1631810515381_17071 { width: 100% !important; } to target a specific one, but it only extends to the right and not the left I tried targeting hr as well and it didn't work Ideally I'd like to have two lines in some places a few pixels apart, I've attached a screen shot I've tried using #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1631812436781_3916 {width: 100% !important; padding-top: -100px !important;} as well and I'm not seeing any movement. How do you target the specific lines to be full bleed? site is https://flugelhorn-seahorse-lzrb.squarespace.com/ pw: design123
  2. Site URL: https://lancasterdemocrats.com Impact Template I have two adjoining blocks (text and picture) next to each other at the bottom of my page. When I click the plus sign at the bottom of the longer text block, and try to add a line, it only stretches across one block width. A line (as shown above these two blocks is used to end the previous other information and indicates new information below it. But at the bottom of the page, I can't get it to work. Your help is appreciated. I can't find the answer in Help or videos. Terry1121
  3. I'm trying to anchor a vertical line to the left of my headers so that they are responsive - does anyone know if this is possible? So far, I've created a verticle line using CSS but am struggling to align it to the baseline of the text and to 'anchor' it to the text so that when viewed on mobile they stay together and be above the body copy. Currently, when you view at mobile size the header falls below all content and falls off the left of the page (because I reduced the padding to bring the copy closer to the line), and the line is above the header. (2nd screenshot) Have attached a screenshot of what I've managed to do so far. Thanks so much in advance!
  4. I'm having an issue trying to "mask" or make horizontal line blocks on my website landing main page and shop so the page looks cleaner and minimalistic: Basically I want to get rid of the thin horizontal line on the top of my shop page. If possible, I would also like to eliminate or mask the small "SHIRT" (product category) at the top as well. Any suggestions would be welcome - thank you.
  5. Site URL: https://frencholistic.com I'm creating a header for a category of my blog posts (it means that I will use it as a template for future posts) with a sort of table. When I'm in the edit mode, everything looks almost fine (almost because it seems that the three horizontal block lines cannot align 'perfectly'), but as soon as I save, the three lines do not align anymore. Does someone know how to get around this?
  6. Site URL: https://kdigitalstudio.com/blog I've tried extending the horizontal line by targeting it in CSS and in a code block. I can only get the line to extend fully to the right. I would like the line to fully extend the span of the page.
  7. Site URL: https://www.terradigitalagency.ca/home Hi, I'm wondering if there is a way to overlay a horizontal line overtop of a text box, with the line beginning at the edge of the page and terminating at the end of the text inside the text box. The areas labelled "Does your current brand reflect your vision?" and area below that are what I'd like to target. I've tried using CSS to transform the ruler, but I can't seem to figure out how to adjust the left & right margins to do what I want. I'd like to replicate the attached image in the website for branding. Thanks so much!
  8. Hi, I'm trying to adjust just one line block on a site I'm working on, but can't figure out how to target it. I've tried the data section id and block id, but it has no effect. If I don't add a block or section ID, the code works but I don't want it to affect all line blocks across the site. The code I'm using: sqs-block-horizontalrule hr { height: 5px; width: 100%; background-color: #BF4B02} I'm trying to thicken the lines and have the left margin as 0 to have the line look like it's coming from off screen on screen (if that makes sense.)
  9. Hey, I wanna make a similar header like on the image. I kinda have a code to space the navigation and the logo to where I want, but how do I add a vertical line in the header? like here: https://superherodesign.wixsite.com/marketing is it possible? Thanks,
  10. Hello forum, I put a short line over my text on the desktop version of my website. In the mobile version, however, the line is displayed across the entire width. Can I use CSS code to ensure that the line only extends over a third of the screen? Thank you for helping me …
  11. Is it possible to customize the line block in Squarespace so that it is a multi-color gradient? There is an example here where a developer can make the line a single color. But can you make it a two color, or multi-color gradient instead? Thank you for any help!
  12. Does anyone know if I can change the horizontal line block to a squiggle line I've drawn, or how I can underline headings with this squiggle (this would be ideal)? & if so, how this can be done? Thanks!
  13. I have a summary block in my page but feel like the titles are visually hard to tell apart at first glance. I'd like to be able to put a horizontal line as a divider in between each title of the summary block if possible.
  14. Site URL: https://www.prinku.com/workshops Hi. Could anyone help with this please. My workshops page is a product page that comes with a built in line at the top of the images. But this line is so thin it looks grey. When I add lines to the other pages they are usually a different thickness (not sure what the default is in my theme). But these lines look black. I just wanted the line weight on the workshops page to be consistent with the other lines that I'm adding on other pages. Is that possible? Many thanks!
  15. Hello. Is there a way to center-align a horizontal line instead of them being top-aligned? Also, is there a way to set the color of an individual horizontal line? Thanks.
  16. Site URL: https://gar-grouper-xgll.squarespace.com/config/pages Hi everyone, does anyone know how to reduce the white space under and above a line (and other blocks)? Hope you can help me with this issue!
  17. Site URL: https://keyboard-jaguar-k52z.squarespace.com/ Hi there, On the website I'm working on I would like to have the 'Support the project section' on the home page (the one with the text in the middle and the 2 images on the sides) divided by 2 vertical lines. I managed to do it but I noticed that when the screen size is reduced there's blank space between the end of the lines and the end of the section. The screenshot attached shows how I would like the lines to be for every screen sizes. Anoyone knows how to fix this?
