  1. Site URL: http://nicetrycreative.com Hey guys, I can't seem to change the Image Overlay to transparent for my images, specifically in the Project Page template during Link Hover. I've already gone into the Section Themes and changed every singe Image Overlay to White with the Transparency bar to the left side. It seems like in the Squarespace Help url here "In version 7.1, the left side is a very light tint, while the right side adds a darker tint" which to me, seems like you then can never have true transparency since the left side still gives you a "very light tint". I've at
  2. My client wants to build a rotating hero image (slideshow) with an image overlay and a button on top of it, similar to https://ovolohotels.com/ (but without the date selector etc). However, I couldn't find any templates for this type of design. Anyone knows how this may be achieved in Squarespace please?
  3. Site URL: https://www.joeblackham.com/work Hey - I have 9 images on a page and I'm trying to get a hover effect which fills the entire image, but it's only covering the top 75% - any help would be appreciated as I'm not a CSS whizz! This is the code I am using at the moment: .image-caption-wrapper { opacity: 0; text-align: center !important; top: 0 !important; width:100%; height:100; border: 2px solid white; padding: 1px; margin: 0px; position: center !important; pointer-events: none !important; } &:hover, &:focus { opacity: 1; }
  4. I would like to center the caption box when I choose 'hover image overlay' and I have scoured the forums to solve this. The caption defaults to the bottom of the image, and I would like a default to the center of the image. I am using Brine, and I can't figure it out.
  5. Site URL: https://provoicecincinnati.squarespace.com/clinical-education Hello, Wondering if someone would be willing to share the css code to remove a color image overlay on a single page in squarespace. I want to keep the color overlay for other pages, but on this particular page, it doesn't work well. I am using the "poster" style image block. Thanks in advance!
  6. Site URL: https://parkerisaacadipress.squarespace.com Hi guys, I'm working on a site (https://parkerisaacadipress.squarespace.com) built on the Stanton Template. I'd like to remove the transparency overlay being applied to the cover page image. I've searched the forums, and found an answer to this same question for someone using the Naomi template. They ended up using custom CSS code that fixed the issue: .homepage .index-image-overlay { background: rgba(28,13,10,0); } However, when I tried this in my template it didn't work. I came across two i
  7. Hi, I decided to use squarespace instead of wordpress this time since I didn't want to mess around with coding. I have a portfolio for which color accuracy is very important and just realized that the style Carmine I'm using is adding a very faint overlay on some of my images. This only happens when I add images, galleries are not affected by the issue. There is no simple switch to turn off this overlay so I'm wondering what CSS code might help me with this. Note: I do not want the overlay on any of my pictures so it's fine if it gets disabled completely.
