  2. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Hi everyone, Please refer to the following reference site https://www.marieforleo.com, the 2nd image & text block when you scroll down (i.e. "Hi, I'm Marie. An entrepreneur.....") My client would like to have a similar look as well for her 2nd image, i.e. a text box on the right allowing text to be written using different fonts types & sizes, overlaying a rectangle image that stretches across the entire page. I tried using Squarespace's available image blocks features (e.g. card, inline etc), but realized that it doesn't seem to have the above look. Will anyone be able to help? Using Brine template, Squarespace 7.0 John
  3. Hi all, I'm making a "meet our team" page for our website with 4 images and some text for each image. I'm using v 7.0. The first thing I tried was using the pre-existing template for the 1-column "team" page (also tried designing the page as a blank page but same issue). Unfortunately, the default option is 3 people so I tried adding 1 row which has 1 image block and 1 text block (I tried adding this row to the bottom, middle and top of the page but same issue). I can add the image and text block but I can't align them properly (the way it looks with the default boxes on the template) and I think I know the problem but can't find a solution. When I add the image block, it's not seperated from the image above so I can't re-shape that image just by itself, it's locked to the image above. However, the image blocks on the default "team" template all act as individual blocks. Furthermore, the black "pin" that allows you to quickly add a new section here each image that is part of the template has two pins below, one that stretches the lenght of the image and one that stretches the length of the page. When I add an image, there's only one ontop and this one only stretches the lenght of the image which is why I can't add the textbox next to the image, only above it or below it. (I added screenshots so that it's easier to see. The top one is how it looks with the default template, the bottom one how it looks when I add my own image block, as you can see the transformation bar on the right stretches across two images instead of one.) I'm just wondering how to seperate the image/work around this issue so that the text block and image block can be placed side by side? Thank you for any help!
  4. Site URL: https://virginsuncare.com/ingredients I created this custom image block grid in Squarespace 7.1 to provide an interactive and detailed view of the ingredients while being able to see them as one working unit. I am having trouble aligning the bottom base line of these images. Is there anyway to center this grid or create a fixed bottom height for the block as a whole? The blocks are currently sizing different and the bottom line changes at every screen size increment. I have been trying to figure this one out for weeks so any help or creative ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Hi everyone, I'm currently helping my client work on her site using the Brine template, Squarespace version 7.0 She would like the top section of her Homepage to have a similar look as the top sections of the following reference sites below: https://www.parsleyhealth.com/about-parsley/ https://www.marieforleo.com/ https://themovementboutique.ca/ My question is: Can I upload & adjust photos/images to cover the entire width of the page using Squarespace's current features? Or do I need to extra code to do that? And if I need extra code, can anyone help me with that?
  6. Hi everyone, I'm currently helping my client set up her site using the Brine template, Squarespace version 7.0 She wants to make changes to the background colors for her image blocks (card type), such that the background color for the text portion of each block willl be different. Understand that it needs CSS code for that & that each block requires its own Block ID. Can anyone help me out by providing the actual code which i need to use, if i want to change the background color for 1, 2, 3 blocks or more? Thanks in advance! 🙂 John
  7. Site URL: https://www.seenamavaddat.com/ Hi, I could use some help with spacing between images in a gallery section when my site is viewed on mobile. On desktop, the padding (or "spacing" as Squarespace calls it) is not very large, but on mobile the spacing is too wide. Tried to use some code but it didn't really work: <style> .block-yui_3_17_2_1_1588054001143_9492 { @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { padding: 0px !important; } } </style> What would honestly help me altogether with this problem is the ability to link to portfolio collections (or whatever squarespace 7.1 calls them). Each of my separate pages (GD, painting, printmaking) are portfolio collections and what my homepage does is just link to the project pages through images. However the image spread on the actual portfolio pages (like here: https://www.seenamavaddat.com/graphicdesign) versus the ones on my home page are a little different (for example, there are hover overlays and the padding on mobile is perfect). I would love if there was a way to replicate that on the home page, but if not, I am back to fixing the issue above.
  8. Site URL: https://www.map-ebt.org/ https://www.map-ebt.org/ On Home page: There are two Poster Image Blocks "Already Receiving EBT Benefits?" & "New to EBT?" which I have added and want to appear in a horizontal row, always scaling for all devices in this locked horizontal configuration instead of defaulting to stacking on mobile. If possible, I would also like to only change the text and button to right alignment on the "Already Receiving EBT Benefits?" I believe this can only be done with additional custom CSS, my apologies, this is the first time I have used Squarespace, and I haven't found the answer to this yet. Thank you in advance, David
