  1. Currently social media icons show up in the header with the main navigation. When I select to hide the icon, it doesn't allow me to use the icon anywhere else on the site. I only want these icons to occur in certain pages and not a part of the main navigation. Any ideas of CSS or magic configurations of settings?
  2. Hi, I've got a website on Squarespace with Marta's template and I would like to hide the header and footer from one page. I've tried with CSS code's I found on internet but none of them work for my template. Please help!!!

  4. I am trying to create a homepage with just an image which can be clicked on to direct to another page. I’d like to hide the navigation bar on the homepage so all that shows up is the image. Has anyone had any success with adding CSS to accomplish this? I found this question asked before (Hide navigation on only the homepage?), but it didn’t work for me. FYI, this is the website: http://www.pannimalekzadeh.com/ As you can see, I already have the clickable image on the homepage, but I’d like to find a way to hide the top navigation on this page. Thanks! Justin
  5. Update: I posted a new tutorial on hiding links in navbar here, in case you are interested I see that a lot of people have the same kind of problem and the root of it is that there isn't any effective way to have a bilingual SS6 site. So if you want to make a bilingual site what are your options? the Google Translator, which is no option for me this method by SS, no an option either After a lot of research and brainstorming I came up with the conclusion that you can: Create a blog/page in your primary language of choice (X- for me that's GREEK VERSION) Duplicate each page/blog(for blogs must be done manually), modify its language (to Y- eg ENGLISH VERSION) and move them to the unlinked pages section, so their links won't be in the nav-bar In "Top Navigation" add the pages' links that you want to appear in the navigation bar eg About page, Contact etc in both languages Then with a simple CSS code you can hide the X language's pages from the Y language's blog and vice versa. So your in your English blog will appear only English pages, info in the nav bar, in Greek only Greek etc. You got it! You can put on your sidebar 2 flags or something like this and you can switch between your X-Y language blogs/pages So, all you need is that damn code. So, the code is below and it's the kind answer by: @rwilson and is given here !
  6. Hello, I have been trying to remove the 'Quantity Select' field from my store for days now and I can not get rid of it. I have injected the code that has been posted on Squarespace: and it works great on everything apart from the 'Quantity'. I simply cannot figure out hot to get rid of it. Has anyone figured this out yet?
  7. I am trying to remove the logo header from one page, but not knowing CSS is making it tricky! I managed to find the code to remove the nav on my home page which worked perfectly, can anyone tell me what the logo is called in CSS, or if the code format below is correct? Many thanks. This worked: body.homepage #main-navigation { display: none !important; } This isn’t working: collection-516572a5e4b0dc29aed91cfb #logo { display: none; } Many thanks, Jennifer
  8. I’m using the Five template. I’d like to hide the navbar on the opening page (splash page) only while keeping it visible with text and background image on all the site’s other pages. I’ve tried adding certain adjusting the CSS in the style editor: .collection-506daf5a84aead5098d68b94 #nav-bar {display: none} And in the advanced section of the Page Settings, I’ve tried an injection code: <style> #header { visibility: hidden; } </style> But nothing has happened. The ID is correct and at this point I’m lost. Any ideas out there? I’m grateful for your help.
