  1. Hi! I was wondering if there was a way to hide a project title on the navigation bar, but still have it accessible (by having URL links to it on the other pages of the website)? Is this possible and has anyone found a way to accomplish this - or maybe just an idea of how? Thank you! M
  2. Site URL: https://aperture-22.squarespace.com/ Hello, I need to hide some pages within mobile folder navigation. I have had success on desktop (I'm hiding the first page in 'what we do' and also the first page in 'book online'). They are the only two first pages I would like to hide. I have tried using this code to do the same on mobile: a.Mobile-overlay-folder-item:nth-child(2) { display: none; } This however, hides all first pages within mobile view and I do not want it to do so. I only want the first page in 'what we do' and 'book online' hidden on mobile. Thanks in advance.
  3. Site URL: https://www.melarbi.com/ My site is here: melarbi.com That first page when entering melarbi.com, that has my logo and enter button, is what I refer to as "Landing Page". When you click the enter button, a new tab opens up that I refer to as "Home", aka the home page (melarbi.com/home). However, the "Landing Page" is technically my home page in squarespace: (Sorry for any confusion, this naming convention just helps me understand) When you are on the home page, click any of the navigation links that appear (located in the top right corner if on desktop). When you do that, you will see a new navigation bar appear with more options: but this time you see the "Landing Page" link as the left-most navigation bar option. I do not want that page link visible on desktop or mobile. I have tried all sorts of CSS but just cannot figure it out. If anyone has any CSS, code, or advice to solve my problem that would be helpful! Thank you for your help and time.
  4. Site URL: http://www.insideoutlearning.ca Hi there, Really frustrated and I'm a coding neophyte. My site template is Bedford. Issue: because the folders in the main nav menu click through to the first page in the folder (I have four folders across the header of the site), the nav menus essentially have two links to the first page in the drop down. I see from forums that this is a common problem but the best I can do is to enter a space in the nav title of the first page in each folder. But that's weird because now there isn't a second title, but you can still click through on the blank space. It's clunky. I'm looking to either: 1. Make the folder link (in the main nav) show the sub pages when the cursor is hovering, without the possibility of a click through on the folder nav itself. OR 2. The ability to hide the first page from the nav menu (rather than using a single space as an imperfect cheat), in which case I'd change the name of the nav folder to that of the (now hidden) page. Either way, I'm just looking to clean this up. Thank you in advance for anyone out there who can help!
  5. I'm using the Brine 7.0 template for my website and I would like to hide index subpages from the search results so that only the main index page is shown and site visitors are navigated to see all of the relevant content, not just the subpage. Is this possible using redirect links or search customization? I've been looking for a solution for a while now and I don't mind if it's a work-around, I just need a solution to this.
  6. I have been building a new portfolio site in 7.1 using a portfolio page as my homepage. Intially I thought this was a great feature, but it now appears it is missing some basic functionality – specifically, the option to disable/hide the portfolio sub-pages. Firstly, without this functionality it is not possible to build a sub-page in the background and make it live when you are happy with it – it is immediately live, which is surely no one would want (other page types have a disable function to keep them invisible from site vistors). Secondly, a disable/hide function would allow you to create a portfolio with lots of pages, and then select which ones to display in the main portfolio page – meaning you could keep your portfolio fresh by swapping projects in and out very easily. Without this functionality, the only option is to delete and then rebuild the sub-pages, which is very time consuming! Has anyone else come up against this issue and perhaps come up with a solution? And could anyone who wants this functionality please email customer support to request it – they will only prioritise it if enough people ask.
  7. Site URL: https://www.nscadv.com Hi! I'm having difficulty trying to hide the "home" page on the navigation bar when looking at both the computer and mobile view. Can someone please help me create a code that does this? The temporary site password is newyork. Thank you!!!
  8. I'm just starting out with a line of pottery. Eventually I will be selling via my squarespace site, but until I'm ready I'd just like to use it as a place to showcase my work and start to work out the aesthetic of the design. Is it better to (and even possible) to start with an ecommerce template and hide the ecommerce page until I'm ready to sell OR Start with a portfolio template and switch to ecommerce? My fear is that I'll have to rebuild a lot of things if I switch templates and I'd really rather avoid that. Thanks for your help in advance!
