  1. It seems simple enough. The Design that I am trying to implement for the website that I am making consists of thin color strips that have buttons, images and text inside them. When I make an index page Using a banner does not work because you cannot put blocks in them. When I try using custom CSS to make a div on the page a certain color It still is too big. On my index page I implemented this code: div#homepage1{ height: 55em; background: #E30A1F !important; } To fix the size problem I tried adjusting the height to be smaller. However that also presents problems. When the screen resolution gets smaller that 900px all of the blocks stretch outside of the color. Also I cannot move the blocks higher so they are off vertical center. As seen in this first screenshot. As you can see, one screenshot looks much cleaner and more professional than the other. The second screenshot is what I am trying to accomplish. If anyone has a simple way to accomplish this, I'm all ears, heck even a complicated solution, just as long as it gives me this specific design. Thanks for reading!
  2. I am trying to limit the image width on mobile on the hayden template. Currently, on mobile, the images default to full width and I can't seem to change it. Thanks
  3. I want our banner text to appear on the lower left corner of banner images. I can left align the text using: .desc-wrapper { margin: 0 !important; text-align: left!important; } I can't see to move to the bottom left. Also any attempts seem to expand the image. The page we're working on is here: https://www.carvertc.com/homenewdraft Thanks in advance Bob
  4. Hey everyone! I've done a little bit of CSS but couldn't figure out why my announcement bar is overlapping my nav. And, on scroll it disappears. Can anyone help? I'm using Bedford family (Hayden template) https://verobranding.com/
  5. Hello All! I'd like to keep the styling of my website consistent by having a banner image on my gallery page. Is there any custom css code to either remove the block on the gallery page or add the banner to it? Thank you for your help!
  6. Currently I am using the Hayden template. I want to implement a “Scroll down” indicator on the bottom of my header image, like this: www.mim.fm How do I do that? Thanks a lot in advance – I already went through Answers but couldn’t find an answer on that. Thanks a lot.
  7. How do I change the sticky navbar settings on the Hayden template, so the navbar appears earlier on scrolling down the page? I have created a one-page site, but the stick navbar is set to a fixed amount, so I lose the bar on the first section Here is my site forumwebsites.com.au
  8. Our site (www.ilmea.org) uses the Hayden template, but the mobile/hamburger menu links do not work. They all direct to other pages (not sections of the index) except for the Home link which is permanent. Is there a setting or solution I am missing to make these clickable?
  9. I’m using Hayden and already tried the Custom CSS .site-title img { max-height: XXXpx; max-width: XXXpx;} With various sizes but in vain. Any ideas? I’m not on developer platform, could that be it? cadoganfs.squarespace.com Thank you
  10. 11. I'm using Bedford at the moment, and would like to switch to Hayden. - when I switch templates I get the demo content for Hayden, not the content I developed in Bedford. If I switch back my content is intact in Bedford. Am I missing something? I thought the content would be reflected in the new template?
  12. Hi There, I am trying to adjust the footer of my Hayden theme now for a couple of days. It is has way to much space above and underneath the text block by default. The closest I came is by using: .footer {height: 40px} Only by using this CSS my original footer is literally being cut by adding a new top-line to my footer and leaving the old one above it, in other words my footer has two top-lines instead of shifting upwards. Also, the code does not reduce the bottom space of my footer. Would appreciate your insights! Cheers,Glenn
