  1. Site URL: http://www.recoop.care Hey everyone! I am trying to overwrite the h1 (overlay) style for one specific banner on a homepage. The banner section is considered a "page" (identified by #welcome) so I dropped the following code in the advanced section, but it doesn't work. Should the h1 have a different name because it's overlay? Any tips? <style> #welcome h1 { color: #FFF !important; } </style>
  2. Site URL: https://rrcsc.squarespace.com/ Hello, how can I decrease the large space under our H1s? See examples below: -https://rrcsc.squarespace.com/ -https://rrcsc.squarespace.com/support-us -https://rrcsc.squarespace.com/who-we-are I've tried adjusting the line height but it unfortunately doesn't do the trick. Anyone know any ways to do this?
  3. Site URL: https://smilodon-ocelot-my5f.squarespace.com/lost-america-prints Hi, I'm confused why "LOST AMERICA" is not in Light text - it should look the same as "DESERT MODERN". The header injection code matches that page: @media (max-width: 767px) { #page-section-5ee97835a1df205866f9861b #block-9e069455315985c61e1a h1 { font-size: 1.7em; letter-spacing: 0.3em; font-family: GOTHAM LIGHT !important; }
  4. Site URL: http://www.jendidit.com Hey all. I've had the theme Brine for a long time. My site is looking good and mostly the way I want it. I'm still quite new to SEO, however, and was just going over some things in my website to make them more SEO friendly. H1 titles, for instance. I didn't know this until just a few days ago, but Brine doesn't use H1 blog titles and there's no way to change that. My workaround was to hide the blog titles in the Site Styles by changing the font color to white to match the background and then just add a text box with the H1 title there. But that's a problem.
  5. Site URL: https://smilodon-ocelot-my5f.squarespace.com/lost-america Hi, How do I make the title "LOST AMERICA" go over 2 lines in mobile view only? And control the line-height?...
  6. Site URL: https://www.twofourseven.co.uk Hoping somebody can help. I moved my site to Squarespace a few years back. I've been spending some time cleaning it up with a new theme developed for it. Blog posts is most of the content on my site. I have used Moz to run a crawl of the site and it has come up with a number of key issues, namely 'Missing or Invalid H1' and 'Missing Description'. I have a feeling that this is affecting my SERP. I can't seem to see how I can fix the issues and add H1 to and include the meta descriptions. Is this a Squarespace issue? Any suggestions to how to
  7. Site URL: https://bluebird-porcupine-yzdg.squarespace.com/ I was wondering if it is possible to have my header sizes (H1, H2, H3, H4) that are set on desktop to appear smaller on mobile device? For example, currently I have my H1 set to 4.9rem on desktop, nice and big/bold so it suits my brand. But on mobile device this is a little too big! I want to be able to reduce the headers (H1, H2, H3, H4) that appear on mobile if possible? Please help! Best, Faiz
  8. Site URL: https://www.thesmallman.com Hi All Been using Screaming Frog to compare my site with others in my industry. I have found my SquareSpace H1, H1-2 and H2-1 heading to all be the same (the name of my site/title tagline). While my competition have been able to have unique H1 headers and H2-1 headers. Can Squarespace sites do this too? If so how? I have attached a file showing Headers on my site Vs competition. I am rightly getting flipped over. Any help would be wonderful. Marcus
  9. Site URL: https://www.allisterfreeman.co.uk Hi there, been methodically going through my site making changes my seo software is flagging up. It's showing two h1 tags on pages, looking at the source there's an h1 applied to the logo file on the site (not using text logo) in addition to the page heading. <h1 class="logo"><a href="/"><img src="//static1.squares... I'd love to be able to get rid of it, anyone had any success here? Any pointers appreciated! Al
  10. Site URL: https://www.moments-films.de hi :) my SEO tool (seobility) tells me that on every page (home page and sub pages) the main website title is an h1 tag. Obviously I only want the specific page title to be an h1 tag. How can I change that without „destroying“ my main website title for the home page? Thank you :)
  11. Site URL: https://simplyeventsinc.com/ Currently we are using images as our "H1" on each page because we want to use a branded font. This is definitely not ideal for SEO purposes, so I am trying to upload our custom font to the squarespace site via the css editor in order to assign it as our H1 font. I uploaded both a ttf file as well as a woff file and wrote the code to assign it to font-face and font family. However, while I have all of the code correct, it is not displaying the font correctly. I know the code is working because I can manipulate other portions of the H1 like font size and
  12. Site URL: https://www.martinroper.co.uk Hi everybody, how do I stop H1's hyphenating on a mobile phone. When I choose mobile device on the site builder, everything looks fine. Checking on an iPhone 7 Plus and the H1's on the home page hyphenate. Doh
  13. Site URL: http://flowerwalldubai.squarespace.com Hello, Please could someone help me? I've entered the below custom CSS to stop the 'Welcome to' and 'Flowerwall Dubai' text from overlapping, this works fine on tablet and mobile view but has a large space in between on full screen? I'm not sure what to do now? 😥 @media screen and (max-width: 641px) { body { font-size: 11pt; line-height: 20px; text-align: center;} h1 {font-size: 30pt; padding: 10px; } h2 {font-size: 30pt; font-weight: 400; text-align: center;} h3 {font-size: 16pt} #block-2e9f5306c508fa38a436, #blo
